Lesson 13: The Lord Who Left Behind

Walk along the streets through the lost forest, mainly Mr. Louise.

If those who deviate at all appear, they call each other and return not to deviate from consciousness. Prevent getting lost by doing so.

But those who know the properties of such lost forests but do not have the resistance to divinity get lost. Sometimes when I realized that I was unconsciously interfering, it could be after I had strayed from my people.

That's why we need the conductor to speak up.

"Follow me properly."

"I don't mind that, but Mr. Louise seems quite used to it."

"I think I told you before, Atashi was originally born in an elf in the middle of this forest. But I was an adventurer when I was your age."

"Huh...?

I was surprised by the fact that I was banished just because I thought it was exactly what I left myself.

I couldn't believe the fact that I was banishing my family because I heard the elves were just relaxed and warm people.

"Why was that?

Ira, interested in what I thought should not be heard too deeply, asked.

"It's nothing serious. Because an elf is something that lives in the woods. Anyone who has fitness for fire attributes is seen as dangerous. You can take care of them because they're pathetic in their children, but they're just not allowed to leave them inside until they grow up."

"Oh no..."

In other words, he was also abandoned by his parents for the sole reason that he was fit for a dangerous fire attribute for the forest.

It is a gathering of those who, for whatever reason, are no longer able to be with their parents, those who were temporarily unable to be with them. Whatever the circumstances, I couldn't believe the situation where parents abandoned their children from themselves.

"Can't you believe it? I was really sad right after Atashi was really deported, too. But after being picked up by a man who was an adventurer when he was wandering the exiled country for a while, it was so much fun to forget the grief of being exiled."

Mr. Louise has a distant eye when he remembers his days.

It would be about 70-80 years ago now when she was about our age.

There will already be no one in this world I knew or looked after at that time.

"It's true. You must have been happy because you had kids with the guy who helped you then."

"Oh, did you have a child?

Melissa is surprised by the sudden cumming out.

They didn't even know Melissa and Iris, which was a pattern of old knowledge.

"I didn't take over my properties as an elf when I said kids, so I already look like a grandfather, and I have a great-grandson about your age."

If they had real great-grandchildren, they would have adored us the same age as great-grandchildren.

If you have a family, shouldn't you be hiding without guild masters or something?

"I've thought about hiding. But I have an appointment with my husband. I want to be an adventurer until the last moment."

"At the end of the day..."

"Immediate life expectancy"

"Ah..."

Elves have a long period of youth and die within a few years after aging begins.

It seems that Mr. Louise, whose aging has begun, is set to die within a few years.

"Oh no... can't you do something about it!

"That's right!

Melissa and Illis, who were usually treated in an evil way, are the wolves.

It would mean I felt like a real grandmother no matter how much I was disturbed.

"I guess an elf who lived beside the Divine Tree could live longer, but Atashi is an elf who lived away from the Divine Tree even if he would return home once every few years. It's like this. Besides, if you're human, you'll live longer."

Looks like Mr. Louise is happy with his life or accepts life expectancy.

More importantly, it looks like your husband is already dead, and given the condition of the child, maybe the child is close to death. The child may have accepted his or her life expectancy considering the grief of his or her death first.

"But at any rate, I'd like to see my grandson's face. The great-grandchildren of Atashi won't be able to do it yet, but would you show them to me?

"Already!"

The soggy air was scratched off in Mr. Louise's joke.

"Better than that, it looks like we're here."

"Beetle?"

A beetle about the size of a person appeared from the back of the woods.

It would be easier to crusade because it is a demon we also saw in a village that was near Dayton Village.

"Wind Blade (Windcutter)"

Sometimes there was still a distance, and a windcutter released from Melissa's hand flies off to the demon.

"Huh...?

The slaughter that was thought to slay the demon slashes and rips the tree that was next to the demon.

My aim is off.

"What are you doing?"

"No......"

Ira, who took the holy bow out of the storage ring while Melissa was bewildered by her aim, emits an arrow of light.

But the arrow also pierces the ground behind without hitting the demon.

"Is that it?"

Again, it doesn't even hit Ira.

It doesn't hit with ranged attacks.

Approaching the beetle demon, Sylvia doesn't pierce the body of what she tries to pierce the dagger just slightly.

"Could it not hit this one as well as get lost?

"That's what I mean. This is what lowers the rate of human survival that gets lost."

From what I've seen, my aim is off because my senses are driving me crazy.

Then you can make an attack that doesn't matter if you drive your senses crazy.

"Out of the way, Sylvia."

Finger the demon and activate the magic.

"Rock pressure (rock press)"

Magically create and beat a large rock five times the size of a demon.

- Becha.

The demon crushed by the Great Rock dies.

"That's a hell of a way to beat it."

"It's impossible to recover materials in a place like this."

The material of the demon crushed by the Great Rock was so crushed that it was impossible to reuse it.

I would at least try to take it out of my body to retrieve just the demon stone, but it was greatly devalued because of the cracks in it.

"Is there anything else you can be aware of in the lost forest?

"No, you should always be aware of your companions' existence so that when attacking, you don't target them, you should attack them on the face with the intention of suppressing them."

"Then you're going to need to do something with a member who can use magic."

Sylvia and Ira, who don't like magic, have been depressed.

It's not like they can't use magic either, but if they use labyrinth magic to see if their original aptitude is affecting them, they consume a lot of magic, and they can't use too powerful magic.

"But what bothers me is that there aren't many demons out there."

More than half an hour has already passed since we entered the woods.

And yet the demon that attacked us walking in the woods only once now.

"It wouldn't be weird to have more raids before."

"So, you've always been safe."

"Even you guys can crusade without a problem if you feel normal. Even elves can easily be crusaded by demons like that, so they can afford it."

Unusual situation with low number of demons in the woods.

Possible possibilities include the fact that a large number of worm-shaped demons were flowing into the woods near Dayton Village and the demons who were in the lost forest escaped.

"... something will come"

"Oh......"

The ground echoes.

When we all looked in the direction of sounding to explore the source of the sound, we saw the sight of Oki being knocked down.

- Kishore aaaaaaaaa!

A demon appeared as he knocked down the trees.

The demon was approaching this way as he moved eight legs with a giant spider over ten meters in size, with his fangy giant mouth open, whether angry or high.

"Wow, I feel like it"

It increases disgust when seen with eight eyes that glow demonically.

"You're a demon I've never seen. That's the demon that drove the demon out of the woods."

I am satisfied with Mr. Louise's analysis.

Being a giant only makes it strong. Swordmantis was also strong, but I can also convince you that if you can run faster than Swordmantis many times the size of Swordmantis, you are strong enough to kick him out.

"All right, let's crusade."

Crusading the giant spider in front of you is like solving this problem.

If you're not the culprit of the problem, all you have to do is look for the cause of the other big books you're in.

Pull your sword out of your sheath to crusade the giant spider. Given the nature of the lost forest, you can't expect magic from a distance. Attacking a steeple with a sword is most effective. If it was that big, it would hit somewhere in my body.

Me facing a new giant spider.

And - behind escaping like a razor.

"What?"

Looking back surprised by unexpected signs, Silvia's four companions were fleeing at full speed.

"Oh, hey..."

I couldn't help but call it off.

But the voices that have gotten smaller because of the upset will never reach those who escaped with all their might, and only me and Mr. Louise will be left on the spot.

"Chip, avoid it"

Mr. Louise will pay attention, but something like a sticky net can be applied to my body that was stunned by a situation I had no expectation of being left behind by my family.

Mr. Louise, who was away to avoid the net, comes close and tells us who the net is.

"It's that thread that spider spit out. I'll burn you down with magic, so keep your hands shut."

"It helps."

I grabbed it with my hand and tried to pull it off a thousand times, but it sticks sticky to my hand and it doesn't come off the way I think.

I have no choice but to leave it to Mr. Louise, who lit a flame on the tip of the wand I removed from my storage ring, to burn it off. The move was gentle and slow enough not to hurt me being caught.

"I hope they're okay."

A giant spider who went after Sylvia and the others who escaped without my eyes.

I don't think it's a problem to deal with spiders that are many times what I am, given their strength, but it's dangerous to be optimistic in a situation where you still don't know why you escaped.

"I can understand why you got away with it, but for now, throwing your leader out and running is a discourse as an adventurer. When we rendezvous, it's sermon."

"Please be gentle"
