Lesson 33: Divine Dance

- I left it to Noel.

The moment I heard the word, I was the thought that warmed the back of my chest.

It has been a daily tea meal for me to be asked to do a favor by people who have lived as a 'witch' so far. But most of the wishes that could be delivered to me were darkening wishes of the nobles, and pure thoughts could never be delivered.

But Mars wishes differently now.

Wishes after I was really in trouble for not having enough hands.

Mars' prowess could have knocked him down with one hassle, but that one hassle could have scratched the students.

"I need your support, both of you."

They both nodded at me when I got confirmation from my buddy.

What a reliable companion.

Get out front in case there's any damage to the village.

"I don't know what you're so angry about, but will you go back to the woods?

I'd be happier if you settled this peacefully anyway.

"Wow!

But my wish didn't seem to arrive, and an electric deer (Blitzdia) rushes in.

The electric deer, as its name suggests, are able to emit electric shocks from the horns with deer demons, releasing electric shocks all around them as they advance. Besides, the corners always look charged and glow golden.

A second electric deer sticks in when he jumps to the left and dodges.

"Go!

He was rolling around the ground when he tapped his nose tip with a cane.

A third electric deer hits over a rolling body.

Set up a beaten cane to receive an electric deer rampage.

They push me in, but the electric deer have not done me any damage... the electric shock comes through the cane and paralyzes me, but that doesn't put me in the damage.

"Huh, that's quite an attack."

The third electric deer is in front of me, the first electric deer is behind me, and the second electric deer, who has risen, stares at me from before the diagonal.

It wasn't before I was a 'witch' that I was so blatantly hostile.

In the kingdom of Memphis, 'witch' equals having the highest class of power. Even if you were hostile to such a person, as a nobleman it seems to be understood that you have it, you can say it is less than third-rate.

But I'm used to being turned against thanks to a month of training in the labyrinth.

I blow the electric deer I was taking and poke them in the neck with a cane.

An attack condensed on one point pierces the body of an electric deer.

He was falling to the ground with pimples and cramps.

Two electric deer attacking from front to back witnessing the death of their companions.

I asked you to go back to the woods.

Jump and dodge the ramp.

Land away at your feet watching two electric deer collide.

The electric deer that collided with each other's horns are looking at each other and one is standing in my front, while the other is about to turn behind me.

"Mm..."

Turn to the electric deer you were about to turn back and the other one is about to turn back.

"I see."

I'm not a stupid demon.

One of them is spying on the gap as they circle into the other person's blind spot.

I know what they think. Lower the cane you had and close your eyes to draw strength from your entire body.

"What...!

Until then, an adventurer who watched my battle in silence was surprised to see my actions.

It could look like suicide if you try it on them.

But it is necessary to use my skills.

An electric deer who considered my actions a gap progresses from front to back at the same time.

Neither attack have I seen. Two electric deer were meeting their horns just like when they jumped over when spinning in natural motion on the spot.

As soon as we realize our attacks have been evaded, the two bodies move together and advance towards the corner.

But I walk past my left and right as I step on my feet.

The electric deer on his face, such as looking back as he danced, could not understand the reason, was pointing only at his face this way.

"What, is that...?

It seems the same goes for adventurers who don't get it.

The electric deer had indeed stormed from the front with the intention of attacking me. You just have to push straight, so you can't be attacked by me who hasn't dodged either side or up there.

Rather, I have not averted.

If you only want to see the situation, an electric deer walked past me from my left and right standing in the middle.

It can never be normal.

"There you are."

If I provoke you just a little bit, two of them go in with an electric shock.

All of that attack does not strike me.

"It's like I'm dancing"

"I'm actually dancing."

Melissa was giving it back to the adventurer's whine.

Reborn I newly acquired skills [dance].

Skills that increase your ability to dodge by dancing. Just possessing the profession of 'labyrinth witch', I was able to elevate myself to the skill of [divine dance] rather than ordinary [dance].

While dancing, depart from the opponent's attack.

It just seems like the electric deer are attacking a misguided spot from themselves to those watching from afar.

Consume health if you have repeated such attacks over and over.

By contrast, I barely consume it because of my status as a dancer.

"Here!"

Beat an electric deer from the back that was running out of strength.

Shortly after they evade the rampage, an electric deer falls who doesn't even notice my attack.

"Now there's one left."

The last one that we know will be dodged even if we push forward comes electrocuted from the corner.

"[Weather Operation (Weather Control)]"

All the electric shocks unleashed are gathered in my sceptre.

Weather manipulation (weather control) that allows you to manipulate the surrounding weather, but the method of collecting it on a tin cane allowed you to manipulate electric shocks, water currents, and wind freely.

This is also a little complicated to think that the Divine Beasts are on our side.

"I'm sorry."

An electric shock emitted from the scepter becomes a spear and hits the electric deer.

The third electric deer also falls under the electric shock, whose power is amplified more than when the electric deer released under my magic.

"Yeah, I guess this is it"

There was no such thing as going to the village just to enmity me.

"This one's over,"

Illis returns from those in the woods.

There was a sword in his hand. I don't have any prey, but I guess they came hunting demons who were trying to get in a toolbox or storage ring and hitch a ride into an electric deer raid.

"How was it?

"Yeah, no problem as far as I'm concerned"

"I guess I agree."

Melissa and Iris tattooed me.

I've been stacking my training on the Labyrinth Demon, but it looks like it came with a solid strength.

"I don't have a problem with that either."

I also got ink from Marus, who used [Labyrinth Tone] to make sure how things were going over here.

Maybe Sylvia and Ira will tell me they're fine, too.

"Eh heh."

I feel like I've finally been recognized as one of them.

Guys, my background as an adventurer is longer than mine and it's just so hard to go with it as best you can.

But I think I want to be with everyone as much as that.

"Thanks for protecting the village"

"You're strong."

The villagers attacked by electric deer, plus they were happily welcomed by the adventurers who were watching my battle.

If as many as three electric deer attacked me, I would have had no choice but to accept doom in the village soldiers and adventurers. Perhaps there is no choice but to welcome me comfortably for saving the village.

"Because this is what I do."

Waiting for the Mars to come back in the village, wrapped in a fullness I'd never tasted before when I was a 'witch'.
