A week has passed since I summoned that Seven-Headed Black Dragon. And I have also fully recovered from the side effects of the summoning.

During this week as well, I have prepared myself both physically and mentally for the contract test that I will receive from the Seven-Headed Black Dragon. Apart from that, Scathach-sama, Sakuya-san, and even Penemune-san also gave me advice and hints on what to do in order to pass the test.

And finally, this day has arrived.

We headed to the place where the Seven-Headed Black Dragon was located about 1km from our camp.

And when we got there, we saw that the Seven-Headed Black Dragon was still lying asleep. Also, there are other two Dragons here, namely Tannin-san and Tiamat-sama.

We're not surprised to see the two of them here. That's because they did come back a few days after the Black-headed Dragon had fallen asleep. It was likely that they were here just to keep things from getting into trouble like the other High Dragons came and bothered the Seven-Headed Black Dragon.

After I got closer to her, the middle head of the Seven-Headed Black Dragon slowly opened its eyes.

"It is time?"

The dragon asked me.

I nodded firmly.

"Yes."

"Are you sure you want to do it now?"

"Yes!"

"Hm~.... I like your determination. Fine."

After that, the other six heads also opened their eyes and then the Seven-Headed Black Dragon get up.

Seeing that the Seven-Headed Black Dragon and I were about to start, Scathach-sama said to Sakuya-san.

".... Sakuya, help me make a barrier."

Then Scathach-sama walked away from me and the Black-headed Dragon.

And hearing Scathach-sama's order, Sakuya-san nodded.

"Yes, Scathach-sama."

I heard Tannin-san calling out to me and I looked up at him.

"I don't know how strong this Lady Black Dragon really is. But surely she is stronger than Tiamat and much stronger than me. Even so, I'm sure you have a chance!"

Tannin-san said seriously to me.

And hearing his statement, I nodded firmly.

I know that the Seven-Headed Black Dragon is very strong. Even Scathach-sama also said that the Black Dragon is stronger than her. And I also realized it myself from the after effects of summoning the Black Dragon.

When I summoned Scathach-sama over a year ago, my energy was so nearly exhausted that I finally fell unconscious for a week. And when I summoned that Black Dragon, my energy was also drained until almost empty even though in the end I didn't fall unconscious, whereas over the past year or so, my energy volume and capacity have continued to grow and are much bigger than before. That alone was enough to prove that the Black Dragon was stronger.

Tannin-san then nodded back at me.

"I'll be on guard outside the barrier."

Then Tannin-san flapped his wings and flew away.

"Then I'll also guard the surroundings.... Good luck, Rey-kun!"

Penemune-san also said encouraging me and flew away.

Tiamat-sama said coldly to me. But I think she gave me encouragement too.

I faced the Black-headed Seven-headed Dragon with a distance of about 50m between us.

The Seven-Headed Black Dragon asked me.

After the purple-black flame ouroboros appeared and floated above the palm of my right hand, I directed it to move around my body in a ∞ and the purple-black flames covered my whole body from head to toe. Even though I was using the Infinity Blaze Armor which was formed from extremely hot flames, but I felt the heat from the black fireball penetrating my armor and felt up to my skin! W-What does this mean? Why did I feel like my purple-black flame ouroboros were preying on that black fireball? Something like that can be done!?

I heard the Seven-Headed Black Dragon was also impressed by what happened.

About 5 minutes later, my purple-black flame ouroboros seemed to have finished and the black fireball disappeared. And then, the purple-black fire ouroboros looked as if they were belching in satisfaction and then shrank back and coiling around me again in.
