Eldritch Shop System

There is a reason why George talked about that in front of his costumers. It was to create a rumor about someone who successfully infiltrated his residence and succeeded in stealing ingredients for making all kind of potions.

If George doesn't do that.. He probably will be hunted down by Zhang Fu, even though it was himself who seeks death by following Su Ling.

"What?! Someone dared to steal owner's plants?! How dare they!" Someone heard that and frowned deeply.

George laughed awkwardly. "I don't know what happened, but all of my plants suddenly gone.. I speculated that it was stolen by someone. Tsk~ Tsk~ Tsk~ Even my poor vegetables were up rooted by them!"

"Eh? What kind of plants do they steal? I'm really interested in that! Oh.. it's not because we want to know about the materials that you used or something like that!"

"..." George was speechless by that comment.

George coughed lightly. Well.. even if they knew about it, they can't brew it anyways! But, just in case.. I'll just tell them about normal veggies. "Uhh.. potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and many more."

"So.. it's really just normal veggies?!" They were interested in the way George and Su Ling's topic. They thought that he was very angry because the plants that could be used for making a lot of heaven defying potions were stolen. And with the help of that slightly different tone and the fact that he was cursing the person who does that, they really thought that it was an important ingredient to have.

"Of course not! To be honest, I could use it to make a potion!" From only that three veggies, he didn't tell any lies to them. He really could make a potion with it.

Potion of nausea was made by brewing a bottle of regular water with a stalk of nether wart and one poisonous potato.

"Ah! So.. The ingredients for making these heaven defying potions are just those generic vegetables? What the hell?"

"For the potion of nausea, yes.." George almost blurted that out, but he held it down and nodded. "Mmn.. More or the less!"

All of them narrowed their eyes in shock. "I didn't know that an over powered potions could be made with just a normal vegetable! But.. are you sure that it was going to be fine? What if people made a way to make potions like you, just by researching the potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables?!"

George was really confused by them. "Aren't all of you who asked me that? So why are you asking that?!"

All of them laughed awkwardly. It was true.. They were the one who asked it. "W.. well.. I think I should go now! Bye everyone.. Let's meet again on next week's auction!" One guy timidly escaped the shop.

「Ding! Congratulations on finishing a daily mission!」

George was flabbergasted by that. "What?! How?" He didn't remember anything about trying to finish any daily missions, as the prizes are very lame and kinda trashy.

It's not just literally, but metaphorically too! With any lottery tickets that he got, he got two freaking musical instruments and a book about flower! What the hell is he going to do with those junks?!

「Ding! The missions are: Selling 100 potions, Using ten million credits on the shop, killing fifty Minecraft mobs, pulling a prank on ten different cultivators, and launch a new type of potion.」

Wh- What? Pranking ten different cultivators?! What's wrong with this system?! Why did it choose a weird mission?! If I saw this again tomorrow... Should I make a social experiment like the youtuber did? ASHIAAAP~ [1]

But George leave that aside and used the lottery ticket once more. "What will I get?! Sigh.. I don't have much hope.. Probably just some more trashy book or a musical instrument!"

「Ding! You need to read it first! You should not judge a book by its cover!」

George pretends that he didn't hear any words from A.I.

The needed started spinning when George pressed the button. And his one and only lottery ticket immediately gone.

He opened the book and saw the content. It was a book without any cover and the content almost made his eyes popped out.

The book had two pages only, and on the first page, there's a weird name on it.

Pishsalver (Drink Me Potion from Alice in Wonderland):

3. 2 buttered fingers

4. 3 coins from a dead man's pocket

5. 2 teaspoons of wishful thinking

"What the heck?! Drink me potion from Alice in Wonderland? Is it the potion that could make your body smaller?!" He was excited this time! desire sensor is real! If you had a mindset that you will get OP items, you probably won't get it!

He was very uninterested by it and wasn't expecting anything good. But... today he got a recipe to make a drink me potion!

"OMG.. that's really good.. But.. how do you even extract fat from a f*cking worm?" George was happy and sad at the same time. "Why is the recipe is like that?! buttered fingers? Seriously? Wishful thinking? What the f*ck is that even mean?!"

The second page is also a recipe, but it was for the eat me cake.
