Empress Of The Lost Kingdom

The familiar scent, the softness of the lips, the warmth of hands which she has been missing for the last two months entered into Bai Yu Yue's consciousness,

He is here,

He came for her,

But how?

Huo Jin hesitantly released her lips and smiled at her,

The last two months has been the toughest for Huo Jin. 

He was supposed to enthrone as the ruler of his kingdom. But somehow he ended up confessing to his father that he has a promise to fulfil and asked for some more time,

It will be easy to find Bai Yu Yue's whereabouts utilising his power as the emperor. But he wished to find her within the limitations of Huo Jin, an ordinary man. 

Bai Yu Yue immediately pushed him away from her body and obtained a defending position.

"Who are you?"

Huo Jin felt like laughing. She has been talking to him from the moment he entered into her chambers. Now she is asking about his identity.

"Answer me,"

"What? You want to fight with me, and then let's do it." Huo Jin leaned in and Bai Yu Yue immediately kicked him,

He grabbed her foot and pulled Bai Yu Yue closer to him.

Even before she could comprehend, Huo Jin has pressed her under his body.

"I missed you," Huo Jin whispered in her ears and rested his head on Bai Yu Yue's shoulder. 

Bai Yu Yue was left speechless.

Though he hasn't entirely placed his weight on Bai Yu Yue's body, she could feel the warmth and scent lingering on him.

It's real! He is here. 

"How did, how did you enter?" Bai Yu Yue asked with a flustered face.

"Oh, there weren't any guards and the door was open, so I let myself in," He snuggled to her.

Of course, there is no security in the Palace, they all are family and everyone is welcome to the palace. Instead of protecting the people within the palace and the whole Yu kingdom was shielded by the three-tiered protection system.

"I mean boundaries of the Yu kingdom. How did you enter?"

"Do you underestimate my skills, honey?" He muttered in her ears with an alluring voice and nibbled her earlobes.

"Honey," Bai Yu Yue's face blushed into a deep shade of red upon hearing that.

No one has ever called her honey,

"You asked me to come and here I am." Huo Jin seductively said and kissed her slender neck, sending a bolt of lightning all over her body.

"I, senior brother, let me explain." Bai Yu Yue struggled to push him away from her. 

"You just explained everything." Huo Jin stared into her big black eyes and smiled. "What should I do to make you mine?"

Bai Yu Yue blurted out every single thing bugged her mind to him, thinking that he is just a mere part of her imagination.

She loved Huo Jin, her situations has made her hide the true feelings deep inside her heart.

When her kingdom is going through a crisis she couldn't do anything other than agreeing to the decision which is beneficial for everyone- to get betrothed to the Wei Emperor,

Unable to confess or reciprocate to Huo Jin's feelings, she buried everything in her mind and suffered alone.

Even though Bai Yu Yue asked Huo Jin to come, not in her wildest dreams she expected that He will come looking for her in the Yu kingdom,

But here he is, 

A single drop of tear fell from Bai Yu Yue's black orbs, 

"Yue," Huo Jin called her in a soft voice.

Teardrops rolled down from her eyes continuously. Without wasting a moment, Bai Yu Yue embraced the man beside her and wept like a child.

"Yue, please don't cry." Huo Jin stroked her jet black hair which was still damp from the shower,

"I know, I know how you feel, so please don't be sad." Huo Jin tried his best to console her, but he failed terribly,

The warrior who fought with vigour, the arrogant and haughty girl who made his heart flutter, she was weeping like a child in his arms. 

"Look at me," Huo Jin released Bai Yu Yue from the embrace and gazed at her face. She raised her red eyes to look at him.

"Bai Yu Yue, you are worried for nothing. This problem, we can solve it. I will talk to your family and we can sort it out. It is no big deal." He assured her,

"But senior Jin," Bai Yu Yue tried to argue, "It is not-"

Huo Jin immediately stopped her using a quick peck on her moist lips. 

"Let me handle this." He smiled in affirmation. "I totally understand your situation and I know how much you would've suffered, so stay put and let me handle this,"

Somehow his words calmed the muddled thoughts in Bai Yu Yue's mind and her eyes glistened in newly found relief,

She wiped her tears and faintly smiled at him, "I still can't believe that you are here,"

"To be honest, I was quite shocked when I saw you." Huo Jin informed her,

"Why?"

"You talked so casually with me. No matter how close we are, the Bai Yu Yue I know is a woman of fewer words." He exclaimed, " When you invited me to bed, I really doubted that I'm dreaming,"

Bai Yu Yue bit her lips and tightly shut her eyelids due to embarrassment. She really believed that he was just one of her imaginations.

Bai Yu Yue lowered her head and subconsciously gripped Huo Jin's robe to avoid his piercing gaze. 

However, Huo Jin found her actions extremely cute.

"Are you trying to undress me, Xiao Yue?" He asked with a mischievous smile. "Then you should do it properly." 

Bai Yu Yue immediately loosened her grip on his clothes.

"I never knew that my ferocious junior has a coquettish side." Huo Jin chuckled and held her delicate body closer.

"Senior Jin," she called in a low voice.

"Hm," he hummed while breathing the fresh scent emitting from her,

"Are we doing the right thing?"

Huo Jin looked at Bai Yu Yue's confused face.

"I will go back to my home and talk to my family. We will officially ask for you according to the rules of the Yu clan. Is that okay?"

"Wei emperor, I decided to -" she didn't complete her words,

"He is one of your suitors, but not the only one." He sounded resolute and unswerving,

"I will have the same opportunities as him, to prove worthy in order to become your fated partner. I promise that I won't let you down," Huo Jin pressed his lips on her forehead.

"Senior Jin," Bai Yu Yue called his name in disbelief,

"Guan Tae Yang," He corrected her. "That's my name."

Bai Yu Yue gawped, unable to believe what she just heard,

The renowned sect leader of Mu sect, is actually living under a fake identity? 

"You said that you don't know anything about me." He smiled and continued, 

"I am from Guan kingdom. For the past five years, I have been living with master Mu. So does my brother."

"What about your family in the Guan Kingdom?" 

"My family consists of my parents, my brother and two dogs. They are good. Situations in the Guan kingdom are not that bad as others in the mainland. Our ruler is pretty good." He said with a proud face,

Bai Yu Yue has heard about that, The glorious dragon emperor of the Guan kingdom is the only one who is not feared by the tyranny of Wei kingdom.

"We were supposed to be in seclusion. But you know, it is not possible when a person like my brother tags around." 

She smiled in agreement. "That's true," His brother is a person who seeks trouble,

"But why seclusion?"

"Do you remember when I said that I was born with ill-fortune," He tried to remind her,

Bai Yu Yue nodded, 

"One of the priests said that, If I live with parents for the first twenty-four years, especially with my father, it will bring lethal misfortunes to him. So I grew up in my maternal grandparent's household. Then I went to Jin sect for my studies, there I met master Mu and he brought me to Mu sect," Huo Jin briefed about his life in simple words,

"So your parents, are they- Bai Yu Yue hesitated to ask more,

"It is true that we never spent much time with our parents, but they cherish me a lot,"

"You cannot live with your parents?" 

" I can live with my parents now," He smiled, "the bad time in my birth chart got over when I barely managed to escape from death by an arrogant warrior who took me as a bandit,"

Bai Yu Yue looked at him- How can he talk so casually about these things? 

She lived away from her family for five years and it was a torture for her, Huo Jin- Huh "Guan Tae Yang" lived separately from his parents from the day he was born,

Even without his parent's absence, he grew up into a fine young man,

No wonder grandmaster Mu Chen cherishes him soo much,

"How did you find me? Did Master Mu help you?" Bai Yu Yue asked him

"He said something which I have already known."

"What did he say?" Bai Yu Yue was curious. She wanted to know how did Huo Jin solved the puzzle she has given him,

"He said that there is only one Bai Yu Yue in this whole world who protects everyone like a Dai Yu."

"You didn't solve the puzzle?" She asked, "Did you?

"Huh, it was a puzzle?" He replied with a question, "You wrote "to come," so I came,"

Bai Yu Yue gaped at him, unable to utter a word,

She used heterochromatic ink to draw the route map and wrote the character for "to come" in normal black ink.

"You really didn't see what I've drawn in the cloth?"

"No," He shrugged,

Bai Yu Yue couldn't help but remain flabbergasted. She drew every single detail about Yu kingdom including the secret pathways leading to the kingdom. But he didn't realize that it was a puzzle or it had a secret route map.

"Then how did you find me?"

"The nickname mountain tiger, the cold and fierce attitude which is unlike to any of the woman in the mainland," Huo Jin counted every hint which helped him,

"You told me that there is a place were power disputes doesn't exist and you always looked at the direction of Tu mountains, so I just did a rough calculation that you are not from the mainland."

Bai Yu Yue broke into a grin and scratched her hair,

"I thought it will be difficult to solve,"

"But I thought you unintentionally," He brushed few strands of hair which covered Bai Yu Yue's face, "no- you deliberately left hints for me,"

"The five coloured gemstones and the jade box, mentioning jade to your spy, the name Bai Yu Yue and above all, this rich honey colour- how can I fail to recognize that my junior belongs to Jade land and known as the pride of Yu kingdom?" Huo Jin asked her dotingly,

"Even if I need to cross the seven seas, I would've searched for you, until I find this arrogant warrior," He pinched her fleshy cheeks,

Bai Yu Yue stared at him in love and admiration.

"What?"

"Your pick up lines have improved."

"Ohhoo, then I deserve a reward." He leaned closer to kiss her, but Bai Yu Yue covered his mouth with her palm.

"You are stealing kisses every time you get a chance, not to mention that you are being too touchy-touchy" 

His face sank into a sulky expression,

Bai Yu Yue smiled and removed her palm from his mouth. In a glimpse of a moment, she pounded on to him and sealed his lips with hers.

While reclining to one another's body, immersed in each other's warmth- the primal instincts to mate aroused inside their minds.

"Let me reward you," Bai Yu Ye whispered in between the kisses and reluctantly peeled her lips from him. 

Huo Jin looked at her curiously,

Bai Yu Yue rose from the bed and wore a woollen coat over her nightwear,

"Where are you going?"

"Come with me," Bai Yu Yue lead into him towards the wooden divider,

There was a symbol of five elements on the stone wall behind the divider, Bai Yu Yue tapped the symbols of elements in a specific order,

Even before Huo Jin could say something the stone wall in the room moved to a side and revealed a secret passage. 

Bai Yu Yue took a lamp from her room and looked at Huo Jin with a smile,

"Will you come with me?"

Huo Jin took the lamp from her,

" It would be an honour," 

Bai Yu Yue held Huo Jin's arm and stepped into the secret passage.
