While Tang siblings were having a conversation, the rest of the family members were worried to death. Especially Wang Fang who was well aware of the monster devours her own son. 

Tang Yi reached the mansion as soon as possible when he got the call from his wife informing that Tang Wei Sheng has returned home. 

However, when he saw the dull and silent atmosphere prevailed in the mansion, it didn't take much time for Tang Yi to realise that something is wrong. 

"Where is he?" He inquired,

"Ah Sheng is talking with Lanlan," 

Tang Yi' turned to face his father who sat on the couch with a perturbed look. To be honest, Tang Fei's demeanor looked even more complex...he was terrified.

Last time when he saw his grandson, he had a brief encounter with the wolf who demanded something which is nearly impossible. 

The marriage between Tang Wei Sheng and Li Juan. 

Though he agreed and gave his word, Tang Fei was reluctant to approach Li Juan regarding the same. 

"What happened?"

"Something seems off with Ah Sheng. He didn't even greet or talk with me. A while ago, I heard some arguing noises from Lanlan's room,"

Every bedroom in the mansion were soundproof, not to mention that Tang Wei Lan's room had done with extra care, since she is a musician. 

If someone overheard any sound from that room, means their argument was too fierce,

"I am scared that someth-" Wang Fang swallowed the words as her gaze fell on the figure who was descending the stairs. 

Tang Wei Sheng seemed entirely different than the man whom Wang Fang saw an hour ago,

"Ahh grandpa and dad, when did you reach? I thought you went outside," He greeted them casually and took a seat.

The entire Tang family stared at each other when they saw a cool headed Tang Wei Sheng. 

"Ahh... it's nothing...we went for meeting with board of directors." Tang Fei tried to hide the ominous thoughts lingering on his mind and replied.

"There is a talk among the board that you are ignoring your duties?" Tang Yi who silently observed his son, pointed out all of sudden,

"I am taking a break," He flippantly answered,

"You are the CEO and-" 

"I am a human being too," Tang Yi's remarks were brutally cut down by Tang Wei Sheng. "or you no longer consider me as one?"

Looking at the argument between the father and son, Tang Fei immediately meddled in the conversation in order to avoid an unmanageable situation.

"Ah Sheng, a leader should not show-"

"I am sick,"

Tang Fei paused to assess the gravity of the situation.

Tang Wei Sheng refused to attend any of the family reunions or even his birthday party quoting that he is busy. Since it was year end, they did not give much attention to it. However when he came to know that Tang Wei Sheng stopped going to his office, Tang Fei started to get panicked.

The Wolf God bestowed the wealth and power upon them on return to cater his needs and Tang Fei failed terribly in it.

"I know the reason for your sickness. That wretched woman...you are still hung upon her, aren't you?" Tang Yi's voice dragged everyone's attention to something they haven't openly discussed.

Wang Fang did know that her son used to like some girl during his school days, but 

"Yes. I have no other option to hung upon her since you failed to kill her,"

"What did you say?" Tang Yi exploded in anger.

"Did you really think that I will not find the truth one day?" Tang Wei Sheng scoffed and glared at the old man who fakes ignorance before him. 

"And grandpa, it is quite impressive that Li Juan is still alive despite everything you have done to harm her,"

Tang Fei looked at him in utter disbelief.

The truth which he has concealed from Tang Wei Sheng...he knew about it?

"I still don't understand your motives behind ruining someone else's child's life in order to save me," His words sounded grim as he went on blaming his family.

"And did it make any difference? I've become a monster and ruined my own life,"

"Ah Sheng....son...we did it for you," Tang Fei said as he brimmed with fear,

"You...you..considered yourself as a mentally ill person and demanded to get treated for something which is born with you... a blessing,"

"Blessing? You call that blood thirsty monster as a blessing?" Tang Wei Sheng lashed out his anger,

"It is a freaking mental disorder and I am nothing but a psychopath who is close to kill someone. If you've ever cared about...if you've ever worried about my well being...you should have taken to me a mental asylum rather than killing those who sympathized with me,"

He was on the verge of exploding. No matter how hard tried Tang Wei Sheng couldn't help but let go the fuming rage inside him. 

"What makes you think that we tried to end that wretched woman's life only because of you?" Tang Yi refuted his claims,

"It was for the sake of our family's name,"

Tang Wei Sheng appeared pale as if he tried to digest the words which fell from his father.

For the sake of our family's name....what does that even mean? Tang family's pride is more important than someone's life?

"We are the direct descendants of the great Wei blood line. The one who were supposed to host the Wolf God and look at you and your sister," Tang Yi glared at his son in contempt

"One treats himself as a psycho and other one is a loathsome swine,"

"Father!!!"

"Do you have any idea of what disgusting influence that woman have left on your sister?" He vexed out in detest,

"She likes woman. Instead of getting married and settling down like a proper lady, she is latching to that woman. Disgusting! How did such a profane thing born in this family,"

Tang Wei Sheng was taken aback for a moment. They tried to kill Li Juan not only because she knew about his mental disorder, but also they knew that Tang Wei Lan liked her.

Tang family had only two heirs and both of them loved the same woman- is there anything more malicious and derogatory than this.

"Enough," Tang Fei who was silently listening to the arguments raised his voice to stop them.

"What else should I say to these ill creatures who are born to ruin the family's name?" Tang Yi who had no intention to stop, went on releasing all those pent up emotions.

He was a respected member of Wei Clan and loosing his face before everyone because of his vile children has made Tang Yi go crazy.

"Oh then why didn't you kill us when you came to know about our "diseases". Why didn't you do that?" Tang Wei Sheng criticized his father.

It was clearly evident that Tang Yi hated to look down by anyone because of the abhorring things which his children has done. But as long as the Wolf resides in Tang Wei Sheng, he was afraid to go against his son, so tactfully changed his target to the person who is the epicenter of every problem.

Li Juan...killing her was like hitting two birds with the same stone.

He believed that if Li Juan will be taken out from his children's lives, they would start behaving as normal people. But his calculations went wrong, even after eight years, Tang Wei Sheng's as well as his sister's lives revolved after Li Juan.

"You were scared..you were scared that if something happened to me or Lanlan, there will not be a heir to carry your evil blood line to next generation," Tang Wei Sheng spat out the painful truth.

Wang Fang whose eyes were brimming with tears, glanced at her youngest sister in law in pain.

Tang Yin and Lian Hua, the second so of the Tang family and his wife was an infertile couple. Their dreams of having a child, even an adopted kid was brutally crushed by Elder Tang since they were against bringing an outsider into the family.

"You kept me alive because you want me to give you a heir...Someone to sacrifice his life for that evil monster, a puppet which is controlled by you?" Tang Wei Sheng didn't hold back anymore,

"Then I am extremely happy to disappoint you all. There will not be a heir to carry on blood line of the Tang family,"

His words struck them like a lightning.

"Wei Sheng, what are you saying?" Tang Fei trembled in fear as he interrogated,

"You took my woman away from me, the only person whom I wished to spend my life...You hurt her...you hurt me and yet you are asking me to give you a heir," He sniggered and straightened his back to declare something which shook the stone hearted and evil men in Tang family.

"The great Wei blood line will end with me," Tang Wei Sheng proclaimed in an unflinching tone

"And I will make you all repent every single crime that you have committed so far,"

Tang Wei Sheng informed as he stomped to the entrance, leaving a mortified audience behind,

None of the men in the living room stopped him from leaving the house.

"Tang Yi, what will we do now? Wei Sheng said that he will end-" Tang Fei's sombre words were interrupted by his son who remained unaffected.

"As long as that wretched woman is alive, Wei Sheng will listen to us," He menacingly affirmed, "I know what has to be done to take him under our control,"

At the same time, Li Juan and her team were busy checking the reports of the scientific tests done on archaeological specimens that have been collected from Tu valley.

"We have almost finished. The only thing left is to do the cross checking of the DNA's," Han Guang declared as he closed the files.

"In order to cross check the DNA of the two male skeletons we have collected from that inner valley, we have to ask permission from the national society of archaeology and we may need permission from National DNA database department," 

"This part is the most irritating part of the archaeological research...We are just cross checking the DNA's of our specimens with the national data base to find the rate of similarity. It is not like we are going to hack into their system?" Cheng Tao complained as he thought about hassles of legal process regarding the DNA test. 

"Professor, since we are trying to cross check with the entire population, can we do it with someone who might share the same genes for identification process?" 

"You want to identify those skeletons?" Cheng Tao's eyes almost popped out when he heard Li Juan's odd demand. 

"We have already assumed they identities, one of them was from Guan empire and other was the Wei Emperor," Han Guang explained to his assistants,

"Yes. For your kind information, you were the one who made the assumption," Cheng Tao reminded as a matter of fact, "And for god sake, Lily there 1.42 billion people in this country, how are you going to select people who might share the same genes for the so called identification process? That will be looking for a needle in hay sack,

"I actually know someone who seems to share the same genes as the skeletons," Li Juan informed them.

" Wait a minute," Lee Tae Min interrupted her, "Are you saying that you want to cross check it hyung's DNA, since he is from Guan family?" 

"Huh? CEO Lee is from Guan family?" Cheng Tao asked in surprise. He knew that Li Juan is dating Lee Tae Yang who was also part of their expedition under the fake identity of Liang. But how is he related to Guan family?

"Yes. But it is better to use someone who is in the family," Li Juan pursed her lips, "Tae Yang's DNA might be little different, since he also shares half of his DNA with an entirely different population,"

"You want to check Tian hyung's DNA?" Lee Tae Min asked again to Li Juan who wobbled her head in denial

"You want to check grandpa Guan's DNA ?" He covered his mouth in shock,

"Yaaaa instead of talking with each other ,tell us too...how are we supposed to know?" Cheng Tao yelled in dismay.

"She wants to check the DNA of general Guan Lin Zheng," Lee Tae Min explained for them, "Hyung's maternal grandfather,"

What the- Cheng Tao was petrified when he heard Lee Tae Min's words. Li Juan wants to check the DNA of the military general of C country? A person who holds even more power than the prime minister of the nation?

"But what about the other skeleton?" Han Guang asked in doubt, "Who is there to provide samples to cross check with Wei Emperor's DNA?"

"CEO Tang!!!" Cheng Tao jumped out from his seat,

"Yes, Senior Tang is the-" 

"No, CEO Tang is here,"

Li Juan turned as she heard some hurried foot steps behind her and all of sudden, she was pulled into a tight embrace,

"I am sorry...I am extremely sorry for what my family have done to you,"

Tang Wei Sheng's deeply hurt voice fell into Li Juan's ears,

"It was them....it was them who hurt you...for me...for Lanlan,"

It didn't take any longer for Li Juan to realize the wetness spreading over her shoulder was Tang Wei Sheng's tears.
