Zhang Zhi Jun was forced to wake up from continuous ringing of the doorbell. He woke up from the bed and went directly to open the door.

It was Ye Ling, 

He appeared with a refreshing smile at Zhang Zhi Jun's doorstep wearing his workout clothes.

"Good morning," he grinned at Zhang Zhi Jun who is still half asleep.

"Bro Ling, why are you here in the morning?" 

He did inform Ye Ling that he has returned to Jing city and but he never expected that Ye Ling will appear early in the morning. 

"I found a place which sells excellent meat buns and I thought I will bring you some." Ye Ling said with an innocent expression.

Zhang Zhi Jun looked at him in confusion and unconsciously looked at the direction of the guest room.

"What, you are not inviting me inside?" Ye Ling peeped inside and asked him. 

"Don't tell me you got a girl inside? he teasingly said to the man who refused to let him inside.

"Yes, I got a girl." Zhang Zhi Jun opened the door and let Ye Ling inside.

"Aye, I know you are not a person like that." 

"Suit yourself, let me go and freshen up." Zhang Zhi Jun instructed and walked towards his room.

Ye Ling and Zhang Zhi Jun had a close relationship with each other. So it was common for them to feel like home in each other's place. 

Ye Ling went to the kitchen and took plates to serve the meat buns. He was taking milk from the fridge when he heard gentle footsteps followed by a soulful voice.

"Zhang Zhi Jun, can we pretend that nothing happened last night? I am extremely sorry for going overboard with my actions."

"There is a girl in the house?" Ye Ling left dumbfounded, 

He closed the refrigerator's door to see the owner of the voice.

"Why are you here?" Both of them asked together.

Ye Ling observed her from top to bottom. 

Li Juan was still in her sleep wears. 

She looked exhausted to death. 

"You, you are the girl whom we met on shooting set, Zhi Jun's fangirl?" Ye Ling eyes widened in surprise.

"Yes."

"Damn, that was quick," Ye Ling chuckled. "When did you guys got together?" 

"Less than a week" Li Juan answered.

"What? Zhang Zhi Jun, you sly fox! You dared to cheat me,"

"Huh?" Li Juan narrowed her eyes in doubt. Ye Ling was infamous for his relationships. He had countless scandals with female celebrities,

but does he swing the other way too?

"Hey, no, not like that." Ye Ling immediately replied as if he understood what Li Juan was thinking. "My gym is nearby, I often come here for breakfast. Why don't you join us?" Ye Ling asked her. 

Li Juan replied with an agreeing nod.

"Take this," he handed over the milk cartons to Li Juan. 

"I will bring the plate."

Li Juan walked towards the dining table obediently.

Ye Ling has already arranged the table. He came up with the plates and sat with Li Juan. 

He served the meat buns and milk to her.

"Where is Zhang Zhi Jun?" Li Juan looked around for Zhang Zhi Jun.

"You didn't see him leaving?" Ye Ling asked her, "He went to freshen up,"

"Oh then, let's wait for him."

"When did you come, Xiao Juan, yesterday?"

"Do you remember my name?" Li Juan was surprised,

"Of course, I remember. How can I forget a pretty girl like you?"

Li Juan smiled awkwardly, she was still not adjusted to people calling her pretty.

"How can you look this pretty in the morning?"

"Do you usually tease people like this?" Li Juan asked him.

"What teasing, I was stating the facts." He grinned and continues, "How did you guys end up together? As far as I know that fellow is slow when it comes to relationships." Ye Ling transformed into his usual gossipmonger self.

"Princess," Zhang Zhi Jun's voice resonated in the room, Li Juan and Ye ling turned to look at him.

Did he call her princess? Ye Ling almost threw up blood. It hasn't turned a week and they are already using pet names.

"How are you feeling now?" Zhang Zhi Jun walked towards Li Juan.

"I think I went overboard yesterday." Li Juan said sheepishly.

"Yes, you did. You should have told me that you cannot-" Zhang Zhi Jun stopped mid-sentence when his gaze met with Ye Ling's bewildered expression.

The moment Ye Ling saw how exhausted Zhang Zhi Jun and Li Juan appeared, he smelled something fishy.

Not to mention, the hickeys on Li Juan's neck. 

How could they openly discuss the strenuous exercise they had last night.

"What happened to you, bro?" Zhang Zhi Jun asked again

"Nothing," Ye Ling replied.

"Princess, take this and you will be alright," Zhang Zhi Jun sat next to Li Juan and handed her some tablets.

What the hell? He is giving her morning pills? Ye Ling was on the verge of tears. He used to believe that Zhang Zhi Jun had no interest in the woman. He never had a scandal or almost earned the title of a monk. But who would believe that he was a sly fox who hooked up with his fan?

"Do you want to go to the hospital, princess?" 

"No, I am good," Li Juan smiled and passed him the milk.

Zhang Zhi Jun placed a meat bun on her plate with gentle movements,

"Eat it, brother Ling bought it from somewhere good,"

"Thank you."

" So, what is our schedule for today? Where do you want to go?"

"I am going to university." Li Juan declared "You don't need to come with me if it is inconvenient,"

"What inconvenience, I am completely free for one month."

"I mean, there will be a lot of your fans, what if they see me with you?"

"It's alright, it would be an honour to be in a dating scandal with you, princess." Zhang Zhi Jun said with a cheeky smile.

"Wait a minute, so are you saying that you are totally alright with your fans hating you? paparazzi digging up this girl's life?" Ye Ling couldn't agree with him.

"Being in a scandal is not as simple as it seems."

"Bro Ling, I am a human being too, am I not allowed at love someone?" His voice filled with unusual seriousness as if he is offended by Ye Ling's words.

"Of course, but at least inform our poor CEO about it, or else you are going to make him go bankrupt." Ye Ling chortled.

"I will think about it, but for now, let me enjoy my free time with our princess." Zhang Zhi Jun looked at with adoration.

"YAAAA, don't use these pet names in front someone else," Ye Ling yelled at the couple, "it won't go well with your macho look."

"It is not her pet name, it's her title." Zhang Zhi Jun refuted back," She is an heiress apparent to the throne."

"Heiress apparent of which kingdom, the dreamland of Zhang Zhi Jun?"

"I will tell you once the right time arrives," Zhang Zhi Jun ignored the teasings and turned to Li Juan,

"Or princess, why don't we invite bro Ling for your coronation?"

"I thought it was only among the family members,"

"Of course, not. The entire clan, our allies everyone will be there,"

"What are you talking about?" Ye Ling who appeared clueless glanced at them.

"Bro Ling, have you ever seen a princess in real," Zhang Zhi Jun casually asked Ye Ling, If you haven't, please meet Princess Li Juan of Yu palace, the firstborn of-" 

"You are crazy," Li Juan stopped Zhang Zhi Jun before he could blurt out anymore.

"Do you mind if I get up?"

"Not at all,"

Li Juan stood up from the seat with her plate. As soon as Li Juan went to the room to get changed, Ye Ling's cheerful image has been transformed into a serious matured person.

"So, do you mind to explain this?"

"I want to ask her hand in marriage."

"Woahhhh!!!" Ye Ling never expected something like this from Zhang Zhi Jun.

"Straightly into marriage, no dating, waiting?"

"I don't want to lose her to someone else,"

"But still you guys just met and," Ye Ling doubted the reliability of their relationship,

"You don't have to feel burdened to be responsible for your actions, you can still consider this as a one-night stand, well that's what she wants,"

"One-night stand?" Zhang Zhi Jun looked at him in a daze,

"Yes, before you came in, she mistook me as you and said to pretend that nothing happened last night."

"Bro, what are you saying?" Zhang Zhi Jun frowned." she was dead-drunk yesterday,"

"Fiance," Ye Ling wanted to cry, why is acting like a teenager who has been in a relationship for the first time.

" You even took her to meet your parents?"

"Well," Ye Ling took a deep breath, "then congratulations, let's party tonight,"

"Yes," Zhang Zhi Jun agreed to his suggestion. "Bro, how did you come, do you want me to drop you?"

"Hmm, I will drop you on the way to her university," Zhang Zhi Jun told him and walked towards the kitchen with plates.

Li Juan was the first one to get ready for the university,

while waiting for Zhang Zhi Jun, she walked around the condominium to explore its beauty.

As soon as, Li Juan walked out from the condo, she ran into someone whom she least expected to meet.

"Miss Li?" Yang Xiong's surprised voice heard in the corridor.

"Assistant Yang," she was equally surprised to see Yang Xiong coming out from the condominium next door.

"Why are you here, Miss Li? I thought you are with the research team." Yang Xiong asked her.

"I was, I was unable to go for the expedition assistant Yang. Why are you here? Do you live here, assistant Yang?" Li Juan immediately changed the topic. 

"No miss, this is where boss lives, I came to take something." Yang Xiong said. 

"This is where Tang Wei Sheng lives!"

"Does it mean that it is the place where they were once dreamed to live together?"

No-

Li Juan quickly erased that thought from her mind.

"Let's go, princess," Zhang Zhi Jun and Ye Ling came out of the condo. 

He noticed Li Juan who remained startled next to a stranger. 

"Princess," Zhang Zhi Jun called out for her.

"Huh," Li Juan looked at Yang Xiong, who is looking at her with confusion. 

"Do you know him?" Zhang Zhi Jun asked her

"Hm, this is Mr Yang, he works with- his firm sponsors my research." Li Juan introduced him to her cousin.

"Yang!!!"

Is this guy she mentioned yesterday? YangYang?

Zhang Zhi Jun doubted for a moment. 

But this man, he was obviously older than him and was ordinary looking. 

Other than having a kind and caring aura, he looked like a normal man. 

"Is this man she had eyes on?" Zhang Zhi Jun's thought ran wild.

"Hi, I am Ye Ling,"

"Zhang Zhi Jun, nice to meet you." He nodded in agreement.

"Nice to meet you too, I heard that someone moved recently. I never expected it would be you." Yang Xiong shared his excitement.

"Are we troubling you, assistant Yang?" Li Juan suddenly asked him.

"Not, Miss Li, I am on the way to the office." 

"Please," she tried to excuse herself from the conversation. "Have a good day assistant."

"You too miss Li, it was a pleasure meeting you." Yang Xiong replied.

"Meet you again then," 

They bid farewell and walked towards the elevator.

"Why she is here instead of searching for the lost city?" Yang Xiong looked at the couple who are walking. "And why is she is with a celebrity?"

"Don't tell me that as soon as she broke up with boss, she found herself another man."

Is she a woman or a chameleon?

Yang Xiong suddenly remembered that he also needed to take the elevator. Yang Xiong rushed towards the lift.
