Enter, The Walking Dead

Chapter 3 - Preparations

As the days pass and preparations are finished and started for the end of the world Alex finally gets another text from his brother, this time from his burner phone, to his burner phone {wire money to special account, got suppliers in supply branch who want to move some goodies and can ship them from overseas in our time frame, also got a few good guys and gals with families, some wanted to bring brothers and sisters and since, if this happens, we will need warm bodies, I told them to go ahead and tell them to meet at the randevu location} { go ahead bro, how much you need, and try to buy in bulk the things I can't get myself easily :)} {whatcha take me for an idiot? And the more, the more I can get but 500k minimum.} {alright done! Talk later brother!} as Alex closed his phone he wired 5 million to their private account he had set up in the Cayman Islands. With that done he turned to his more annoying tasks, dealing with contractors! With so many projects going on it was quite annoying to say the least.

One of his projects was building a large 15 foot fence around his main compound, fencing in a thousand acres isn't fast nor cheap but thankfully at least his land is all connected, the only place not fenced in is the lake itself and since he doesn't own that property he can't do anything until the shit hits, then he will fence in the whole lake as well, to keep walkers out. That's why he had them bring in so much extra material, which confused them, all he would say was for future project he was working on. He also had them fence in his other properties including the one just outside Atlanta. While in his shopping spree he also bought dozens of cargo containers to hold materials in bulk, he bought everything you could think of really but left the less important things at his decoy property. He had eighteen 40 foot cargo containers placed there and over 100 placed on the main property over the course of 2 months and tended to fill them as they came, he would also have them buried underground, or more accurately basically built a storage space underground to place them in, built in a way where you can drive down there with a tank if you wanted to. But that area was just for the goods materials, everything but weapons and ammunition basically. He had a second spot built the same way, this time with only two dozen containers, more spread out but taking up the same space as the other underground storage facility, to do this he hired different companies out of different states and working on different projects so hopefully nobody would put together what or how much they had stored here, that's why he built the storage facilities first then brought the containers in one by one himself, but he was getting tired and more exhausted as the days wore on so he decided to take a few days off to get himself back in to the game so to speak.

About two weeks after the gun show and meeting the Harrison's and some of their ȧssociates Alex got a phone call "hello, this is Alex, how can I help you?" "Hey! It's Amy from the show! Was wondering if you wanted to meet up soon and talk. My grandfather should be there but he's been busy with his farm and hasn't had much time to do anything else" she said sounding sad about that. "Yah sure , when and where?" He asked curious about what they thought he knew. "Can we meet at your place tomorrow?" She asked sounding oddly excited "sure here's the address to my house just outside Atlanta, let me know if y'all have any trouble finding it." And with that they hung up with him thinking she sounded very mischievous and was wondering why. With that he put his things away and grabbed an extra set of clothes, some black slacks and a grey long sleeve t shirt and headed to his other home after locking everything up for the day.
