Everyday Life With Jin-Su

Chapter 28 - Day 13 (Part 4)

"Daily Recordz? That doesn't sound so bad." Ha-eun says.

"Indeed. It is a suitable name." Guseok agrees.

"What about you Jin-Su? What do you think?" Ha-eun asks.

Yeah. What DO I really think? Nothing much really. Just some memories that I forgot my brain harboured.

I look at the brown, wood-like table in front of me then I stand up and walk out of the Library, just as the bell goes for the end of the day.

Walking down the familiar corridor, I pass doors, lockers and students and pace briskly out the school towards the gates where Sujin awaits my arrival.

"Hey, Jin-Jin. What's…up…" Sujin slows his sentence once he sees my solemn face.

"Did…did something happen?" Sujin asks.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I mutter, keeping my eyes on the concrete below my feet.

Sujin nods and follows me home in complete silence.

Dear diary, I decided to tell you the story of me and the girl who I wanted to forget (it's a short one, don't worry).

When I was seven years old, there was a girl in my class who liked me and bothered to follow my footsteps (literally. Almost as if she was stalking me). Anyway, she confessed and I turned her down saying I din't like her.

Then, she started to become the 'bad guy' and bully me for writing in my diary (yes, even then I had a diary and my handwriting was pretty good). She would tell everyone that I was a loser who doesn't have any friends and, instead, has imaginary friends who don't even talk to me.

It really was a hard time for me. I didn't feel like doing anything, not even write in my diary, however, since I didn't have anyone to talk to I still wrote down my thoughts, feelings and actions.

After a year, I moved out from the town and got to Seoul and I haven't seen her since...until, of course, now.
