Everyday Players at Hogwarts

Chapter 254 Kate at Smith Castle

The encounters between people are full of magic, and various criminal cases are full of mysteries. I am really lucky to meet you.

Today's case is that a fierce fight suddenly broke out in the headmaster's room at Hogwarts.

The only one who has seen through the truth is the famous detective Ryan, who looks like a child but is smarter than ordinary people.

"Fate's fate is the same." Music from the Far East sounded from Smith's castle.

"Ryan, what song is this?"

"Also, what the hell was that narration just now?" Kate's round eyes widened, and her delicate white feet were playfully placed on Ryan's belly.

"It's just more appropriate now." Ryan said with a smile while lying on the other corner of the sofa.

Ryan's index finger slightly touched Kate's little foot, and a mysterious rune formed by silver light flashed past.

"Itchy, what are you doing?"

"This is it?" Kate raised her face and looked curiously at the rune that had traveled to her right hand.

“It means connection, a word I pioneered, that you focus your attention on.”

"Hasn't our reporter Kate always wanted to know who the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor will be next semester?"

"Now you can find out," Ryan said with a smile.

Kate frowned and looked at the text without hesitation.

After all, she knew Ryan well and trusted him.

As a result, Kate's eyes became the same silver as Ryan's.

An office appeared in front of Kate. This seems to be the principal's office.

As for why Kate wanted to use it, it was entirely because it had become unrecognizable - fragments of exquisite and gorgeous silverware were everywhere, and the chair with armrests was full of marks from knives and axes.

It seems like a big war is going on here.

Kate couldn't help but start to hold her breath, even though she knew clearly that she wasn't here.

Who is it?

Dare to attack the office of Dumbledore, the greatest white wizard?

Could it be that the most recent issue of The Quibbler is real?

Is there really hundreds of house-elf assassins behind Fudge's seeming incompetence?

Kate tried to turn her head, to look in another direction.

Completely forgetting that this is Ryan's perspective.

Finally, the picture came to two people.

One of them was naturally Dumbledore. His half-moon glasses drooped on his crooked nose. He looked calmly at the other person in the room through his eyes, as if it was not his house that was damaged.

And the other person turned out to be Sirius Black!

The guy who was recognized as a hero by the British wizarding community.

But what surprised Kate was not this, but the words in Sirius' mouth.

"Dumbledore, why do you want Voldemort to be the professor next semester!"

"I remember that Lupine and I both applied." Sirius smiled slightly nervously, pointing the wand in front of him.

"First of all, you should call him Tom Riddle."

"I originally thought it would be Tom - no, for the sake of distinction - I thought it would be Voldemort's servant."

"But I didn't expect it to be you." Dumbledore clasped his hands and replied calmly, as if he was not the one being pointed at by the wand.

Fawkes, the phoenix, flew in wide circles above them, chirping softly.

"Just to attract Voldemort's servants?"

"This is school!" Sirius was shaking slightly with anger.

"That's not like you, Sirius. That's not who you are."

"You are because of Harry." Dumbledore said firmly, cleared his throat and continued, "I can guarantee that Tom will only serve as a qualified teacher."

"Our school has been short of a stable Defense Against the Dark Arts professor for a long time."

"He made a contract with me."

After Sirius heard this, his breathing returned to calmness, "Then why did you reject Lupine and me? You can let Tom come back next semester."

"I want to spend some time with Harry, and I don't want to worry about Snotlout either."

Dumbledore smiled slightly and looked at Sirius with his light blue eyes, "We all understand that you trust Severus. Although this makes you feel pain and even hate, it is true."

"And are you really ready to be a professor? No longer reclusive?"

Sirius showed a sad smile, "Yeah, I'm not ready yet."

"I still can't accept people treating me as a hero."

"I just want to spend some time with Harry. As for the rest, there's Lupin."

"Lupin is reliable and he needs a job close to Hogwarts."

"You know Dumbledore, he regarded Hogwarts as his home, the only place where he was not discriminated against."

Dumbledore raised his eyes and asked, "Is it because of guilt?"

"Because you once doubted him."

Sirius shrugged, "Dumbledore, you always see through everything."

"Then I think Lupine can serve as an assistant teacher in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. After all, I have already given a job to another little guy today. I can't favor one over the other." Dumbledore smiled slightly.

"Dobby? That weird little elf?"

"However, will Lupine as an assistant coach cause Tom to be repulsed?"

"You have to know that I have a lot of positions for Lupine. If there is a risk, I think I can make a decision for Lupine - refuse." Sirius frowned.

"No, I think Tom needs a good teaching assistant. After all, he also needs to make up lessons." With Dumbledore's words, the scene stopped abruptly in front of Kate.

"Ryan, you!" Kate angrily punched Ryan's chest with her small fist.

"What, I satisfied your curiosity, am I still wrong?" Ryan said.

He understood why Kate was angry.

But now that Penello happens to be away (she is still traveling with her parents), he has not teased Kate enough without her backer.

"I-want-to know-what lessons Voldemort still needs to learn?" Kate said word by word.

In the past few years of contact with Ryan, she had long put Voldemort and his like behind her mind, which is why she dared to call Voldemort by his name.

Ryan cleared his throat, "Let Ryan Sensen ask the common sense questions."

"What does Voldemort hate most?"

Kate was confused for a moment, then understood, "Muggle?"

"Muggle Studies?"

"I should have known better!"

"Ryan, I checked it out when you said Voldemort was Tom Riddle."

"He didn't take Muggle Studies!"

.

"Bingo! Children can be taught." Ryan nodded.

On the other side, at the Burrow outside the village of Ottery St. Catchpole, Harry had no idea what his godfather was doing at Hogwarts.

He just wanted to know how to balance his relationship with Draco and Ron now.

"Harry, you should come to the tent with me."

"You and Ron have always been in the same dormitory at Hogwarts. After finally getting this opportunity, you should follow me." Draco said loudly, making outsiders blush and heartbeat.
