Everyday Players at Hogwarts

Chapter 79: The House of Wishes

On the eighth floor of Hogwarts, opposite the tapestry of the troll beating the silly Barnabas, a figure appeared from the air, but his sudden appearance was extremely natural, as if he had been there from the beginning, but no one had noticed it.

However, strangely, even though this figure had appeared, the worm-eaten troll on the huge tapestry depicting the silly Barnabas trying to teach the troll to dance ballet, and the ballet teacher beaten by it, were invisible to this figure.

It seemed like he was just a phantom, a non-existent person.

A round black shadow suddenly jumped out of the figure in the black robe with gold silk.

This was a fat black cat. It meowed and walked back and forth in front of the blank wall. After about 3 back and forth, a door appeared in front of it.

Very good, it seems that this Room of Requirement also has a sense of repairing cats. Ryan stretched out his left hand, and the fat cat jumped into his arms.

He reached out and grasped the brass handle, opened the door, and a room as big as a cathedral appeared in front of Ryan.

Even though Ryan had long known that the hiding place of the Room of Requirement was very large, he could not help but be surprised for a moment.

This was indeed worth Ryan's patience for so long, and he had never tried to make the Room of Requirement hide things.

This place is so big that it can be said that it is simply a city with high walls, piled up with items hidden by generations of Hogwarts people.

Thousands of years of accumulation have made the things here so many that even the space of the entire Hogwarts castle cannot accommodate them.

Everything here is like a treasure. Ryan suddenly regretted it a little. If he had come here earlier, maybe he wouldn't have to write a book or set up a potion workshop.

Let's not talk about the broken furniture that may have been stuffed here to hide evidence of accidental magic, or hidden by the house elves who maintain the dignity of the castle, so many that they form streets and alleys.

Just looking at these thousands of books that are undoubtedly banned, scribbled or stolen, they are of great value.

Magic books are very valuable, and these books hidden by people are probably even more valuable.

And there is a mountain of forbidden objects not far away, most of which are still useful, and a few winged slingshots and wolf-tooth flying saucers are still hovering feebly on the mountain of forbidden objects.

In Harry's eyes in the original world line, they may be just waste, no different from the pile of broken furniture.

But in the eyes of Ryan, an alchemist, they can all be refurbished or disassembled into precious raw materials.

Not to mention the things that are obviously treasures, raw materials such as the eggshells of extinct dragons; jewelry; hat jewelry with strange magic attached, or the raw materials are very precious; and some weapons that look extraordinary in material; rare potions that still shine with evil light after hundreds of years; and the results of half-finished or completed prohibited experiments.

Damn Crabbe! Ryan couldn't help but growled in pain.

Even if all this hasn't happened yet, it can't happen again.

In the original world line, these precious tangible or intangible assets just disappeared because of Crabbe's Fiendfyre.

Some of them are useful resources even from Ryan's current perspective.

However, Ryan's recollection of the final destruction of the Room of Requirement also allowed Ryan to know which ones are good things.

Around them, the last few things that were not burned by the flames were thrown into the air by the evil fire monsters in celebration: cups, shields, a string of shining necklaces, and an old and faded crown. These last things that were burned were undoubtedly good things. Good things that can be compared with the Horcrux of Voldemort, a lv6 demigod wizard.

However, before looking for these good things, Ryan had to find something first, that is, the crown of Ravenclaw, which is Voldemort's Horcrux.

This Horcrux was hastily hidden by Voldemort when he returned to Hogwarts for a job many years later.

This led to one thing, that is, Voldemort did not know that this Horcrux in the diary was in Hogwarts.

Finding it is undoubtedly a very simple thing for Ryan.

Use your mind to perceive the entire space, or let Jerry, the nemesis of Horcruxes, smell its location directly.

But this is boring, Ryan plans to find it based on his memory of the text where Harry hid the Half-Blood Prince.

I think it is an alley facing the entrance. After entering, turn right and there is a troll specimen. Continue walking forward to the precious but damaged vanishing cabinet. Turn left here and walk to a large cabinet with bubbles on the surface, as if it has been splashed with strong acid.

Is this it? Ryan muttered to himself, relying on the conspicuous target of the troll specimen to find the alley and even the cabinet.

Ryan opened the creaking cabinet door, and there was a cage hidden inside, with a dead five-legged monster in the cage.

It's really disgusting. If you can't afford a pet, don't keep it. Ryan couldn't help but complain.

This was obviously forgotten by the owner and starved to death in the end.

What's even more ridiculous is that the five-legged monsters are actually a group of wizards who were cursed.

But this also means that Ryan was not wrong.

Sure enough, next to the crate next to it was a broken bust of an ugly old wizard, and not far away was a gray old wig and a rusty crown.

That's it? Ryan was disappointed.

This is too simple.

Ryan couldn't understand why the protagonists in the fan fictions of his previous life, who had photographic memories, couldn't find a crown.

Its location was clearly stated.

And the crown itself wouldn't move.

From the fact that the layout of the surroundings didn't change when Harry entered again from behind, and that he found the crown again, the place where things were hidden wouldn't change.

The pattern of how things were placed, Ryan saw, was that the longer it was placed in the room, the further back the things would be.

Jerry, let's eat. Ryan said boredly.

The Horcrux represented by this crown, or all Horcruxes, need you to actually touch it to affect you, and it takes a long time.

It actually doesn't have any external influence.

So, with Jerry, the natural enemy, approaching, the crown just trembled a few times.

As Jerry licked it, the soul fragment disappeared, and the Ravenclaw crown returned to its original appearance, crystal clear and white as jade.

Seeing that the goal had been achieved, Jerry in his hand became a little heavier.

Ryan let go of the cup, shield, and a shining necklace in his hand.

Jack! Ryan waved his hand, and a gray membrane appeared in front of Ryan. The house elf Jack appeared respectfully in front of Ryan.

Take these back to the castle first.
