Evolving Ghost System: Phantom Universe Expansion Pack

May Tape and Grinning Sword arrived at the battlefield across from Tricky.

There were already thousands of bouldercrabs, hundreds of double fin variant sharks, a few small lightning krakens, and one or two ghost adventurers that were participating in a few evil quests.

The two evil ghost adventurers, Smoking Man, and Great Pina Colada, had quite a reputation behind them. They were both responsible for the death over a 105 Ghost Adventurers, and had infamy well over 20,000!

Though Harvard had them beat in terms of infamy, they were still nonetheless frightening to behold. Smoking man wore a white set of armor with over a hundred daggers hidden in his armor. He had dark brown eyes, and a bald head with looks that could kill.

There was a rumor that King Yama chose to give him a powerful body because he'd earned a bandana from calling on over 2 million commercial breaks, but such rumors could not be proven. After all, the person who had talked about Smoking Man's bandana ended up dead a few days later. He apparently tripped, but everyone was pretty certain Smoking Man pushed him to his death! Seeing the other side, May Tape and Grinning Sword slowly started construction on their side of the battlefield. Unfortunately, neither of them were experts, and frankly they were lacking materials.

'The Monsoon Kraken probably used all the materials from the villages he destroyed to create those cannons, ballistas, and floating bombers! How are we going to compete with that?'

May Tape had some easy quests from Trinister, and one of them happened to be collecting rocks and using them to build a small boulder trap. 

Her quests went from easy to hard, and that was one of the easy ones! However, she didn't have time for easy quests to unlock her subclass! After all, she had over 200 quests to unlock the class! EVen though she doubted some of them, like create a trap out of women in the ground, she was nonetheless strapped for time!

"Ugh, Grinning sword… Is it me, or we're doomed?" May Tape asked while Grinning sword piled up bones and shells from the bouldercrabs and defeated sharks. "Also, what are you doing? Aren't the basic materials for battlefields, wood, steal, and brick? Why? Why are you going to use bone?"

"We can't cut down trees because of the rising water level, and there is no way to harden clay with this much humidity. That's why! That's why I'm going to use the bodies of our enemies to destroy them! Hahaha! It will also act to discourage them from approaching our traps! Imagine, seeing that person you trained with underwater's body, and still attacking with all your might!"

"That's really amazing," May Tape dropped a boulder in a pile of water. Her brown hair was soaked, and she had to wear black clothes except when she was around Harvard so no one would see her voluptuous body. "You're impressive. I-I thought I'd be able to help the Unnamed Guild by getting this class, but you're already proving yourself more worthy than me."

"Hmph, don't doubt yourself," Grinning Sword patted May Tape on the back. "Now come on! Help me build a shark bone cannon! Here's a schematic. I drew it up myself.!"

'He can even create schematics?' May Tape bit her lip and felt like she was crying because of the rain. "Hmph, well, I'm tired of losing! EVen if I just have to build this for him, I'm going to do it! I don't care how wet my clothes get! I'm going to be useful for once!"

"You know, May Tape. I'm a coward," Grinning Sword said before he started laughing. "I got a quest to bathe in the blood of my enemies, but because I was scared I gathered bones. You-you and me are alike in many ways. We're both at the bottom of the barrel! However, soon, we will become the most valuable players! We-we will be the reason we win this battle! Are you with me?"

"I-I like the sound of that Grinning Sword. However, do you hear something strange?" May Tape wiped a raindrop from her eye and turned around. "Oh god, what the hell did Tricky build this time! Even the sound of it is terrifying!"

Harvard finished bossing around Tilly in the hotel room and took a break.

Tilly really was quite a different person from 12:00 AM to 12:05 AM. Even though she was the leader of a powerful guild, she liked to be bossed around a lot. He couldn't believe how much she made him sweat in just those 5 minutes. To his surprise, he even got experience.

'She's able to give experience to other ghost adventurers? I can only imagine what kind of class she must have to be able to give out such a reward.'

Harvard sighed and sat down on the bed while he heard Tilly in the shower. Tonight, she kept saying how she wanted to teach him teamwork again on the way to the hotel, but when they arrived nothing about it had been about teamwork. She was so selfish tonight, and it was kind of a blur, and after he woke up at the end of the 5 minutes he got experience.

He sighed and looked outside through the window. He could see May Tape waving to him while Grinning sword erected dozens of cannons out of bone. They were roughly 10 times smaller than the smallest cannons on the other side, but it was nonetheless a start! He put on a black shirt, and sighed. How was he supposed to get Tricky to stop building for the Monsoon Kraken? He asked her father to come here, and he declined! He was so angry! They were going to lose the battle if this kept up.

"Harvard, I learned something about you," Tilly said with a smile, "You're really good at starting things, but not always good at finishing them. How many quests have you not turned in."

"I-I forgot," Harvard looked at his quest panel. It said 2 / 10. "I guess I have the defeat the Monsoon Kraken one we all have, and then the one for Tricky. But… how am I supposed to get Tricky to work for our side? She-she's so impressive! I-I don't know what to do?"

"Maybe you need to be mean to her, and force her to join our side," Tilly came out of the shower fully clothed and looked at the bed. "Anyways, I-I'm going to say this right now and mean it! I'm not going to come to a hotel with you again until you learn to be mean! Hmph, I hope by tomorrow night, around this time, you'll have Tricky on our side of the battlefield."

"Testing!" Tricky's voice echoed through the battlefield before a large cannon blasted and instantly destroyed 1000 trees. She looked disappointed and started tweaking the cannon while Harvard nodded his head.

"You're right, Tilly. I really should stay out of hotel rooms for a few days," Harvard smiled and patted Tilly on the back before he nodded his head. "It's time i go talk to Tricky and force her to come onto our side! That's what you wanted right?"

"So… so you don't want to see me tomorrow at 12 AM?" Tilly started to cry and Harvard assumed it was tears of joy. "Am-am I just a two day fling that you'll forget about?"

"There are some things I'll never forget," Harvard nodded his head, "From this day forward, I promise to return every quest! See you when the battle starts Tilly," Harvard excited the room and left a few lograms on the bed so Tilly could pay for the room. 

An hour later,

He activated Ultimate Stealth and Double Stealth and rushed over to the enemy side of the battlefield. When he got there, he saw Smoking Man Great Pina Colada laughing while they approached Tricky.

His timing could not have been more perfect!
