Well... let's start with the birth of this book.

《Fable: Little Red Riding Hood's Wolf Tutor》, the synopsis, character names, and settings contain complex elements, as astute readers in the comment section have noticed, hehe.

Initially, around July or August, I wanted to write a story about a girl and a wolf.

But at the time... Little Red Riding Hood hadn't crossed my mind yet.

I envisioned a League of Legends fanfic called... Kindred's Soul Theft.

Then, I started another League of Legends fanfic to test the waters, called 《My Name is Yuumi, I am the Destroyer》. It garnered fourteen subscriptions with thirty thousand words, dying before it even got into the library.

Uh, looks like the gaming section isn't for me.

Later, while reading novels, I saw my favorite platinum author, Lord Yuan Tong, introduce a 'Little Red Riding Hood' character in his new book, 《Extradimensional Inn》.

This sparked some inspiration in me.

In the days that followed, while lurking in the author groups, I discovered a book by a new author under the same editor, Star River, called 《The Immoral System in Adult Fairy Tales》. Despite being a newbie like me, the results were great.

It seemed like fairy tale themes were also friendly to newcomers like myself.

My failed debut work was signed by Star River out of friendship—which was truly invaluable for a newbie hesitant at the threshold of writing!

(Including that 30,000-word League of Legends fanfic that I cut off, it was also signed by Star River.)

The story of Little Red Riding Hood became unstoppable as soon as it appeared in my mind.

I thought of the Little Red Riding Hood mercenary and the Big Bad Wolf from the game 《Lobotomy Corporation》, thought of 《Night of the Full Moon》, thought of a certain RPG game, and an old game called 《The Wolf Among Us》.

So, I thought of writing my own adapted fairy tale.

I also thank my parents for letting me read the paper versions of 《Andersen's Fairy Tales》, 《Grimm's Fairy Tales》, 《Aesop's Fables》, 《Wilde's Fairy Tales》, 《The Wonderful Wizard of Oz》, and other fairy tales in my childhood.

Writing my own story has always been what I wanted to do.
