Matthew wondered what words would he put together. He didn't want to be the one to suffer just because of... jealousy? That won't be fair!

"We only talk about you, Your Highness. The lady used to call me and ask about you when you are out of her reach." Matthew carefully answered.

"And why did I only heard this now?" Felix asked which only troubled Matthew more! When the latter was nervously thinking of how to reply, the Prince's phone went off.

Looking at the caller ID, his lips curved into a mischievous smile. "Speaking of the devil." He muttered.

Staring at Matthew, he answered the call and put the phone next to his ear. "What a spy you have here." He said to Yelena who was on the other line. His voice calm yet intimidating.

Spy?! Matthew blinked. Wasn't that an overwording?! He only helped out his boss's fiancee who considered him as a friend. He stood still, not looking at the Prince as he was not dismissed yet.

Yelena who just entered her apartment raised a brow at the Prince's words. Spy? What nonsense was he speaking?! She sighed when she realized what he meant. "Is this about Matthew?" She asked as she sat on the couch.

Felix waved his hand, dismissing Matthew much to the latter's joy. He immediately left the room and started carrying out the Prince's instruction.

"I didn't know that you keep in touch with the little 'guy' friend from the orchard." He dryly said, enunciating the word 'guy.'

Yelena rolled her eyes though they were miles apart. "You and your jealousy." She said, bluntly.

"I never know that you are one overprotective girlfriend. You even made my guard take your side." Felix stated with a seemingly disappointed voice yet he chuckled to himself. He never thought that she would be the type to over worry about him! He was always the one who did that.

"Well, Your Highness, you left me with no choice. You have a habit of not answering my calls. Sometimes it used to went for a whole day." Yelena bluntly pointed out the habit which she hated the most. He always made her lose focus when he was out of reach.

Felix rapidly blinked at her response. Was she mad?! He just managed to placate her in that incident regarding his father's visit. Did he already get himself in another trouble?!

He was out of reach for the whole day and if he was the one who couldn't reach her... he understood her feelings. If he was in her position, he would freak out and might already fly to Silveren!

"I'm sorry. I'm so thoughtless." He whispered, forgetting all about Matthew. The pressure almost gets the best of him when she kept quiet. Was she truly upset?

"Don't worry. Everything will be fine." Yelena muttered after much thinking. She didn't know what he was up to but if he even failed to answer her call, it was never a small matter; just like the night he received a threatening call.

What he heard was so unexpected for the Prince. He blinked but realized that she knows him well. She might see through him even by a single call. "I hope so." He responded in a low voice.

"In my case, I hope you won't forget I will be coming to your country tomorrow. I want a coming clean session in which we both participate." Yelena stated with a light chuckle, trying to lift the mood and she didn't fail.

"You and your request," Felix muttered as a slight smile appeared on his face. He will be seeing her tomorrow. She will be coming here only for him. That's the best feeling!

"Great timing. I have another request." Yelena said with excitement.

"Tell me. I will do anything." Felix quickly responded. He was open to any request as long as she would be coming to him.

"Don't come to pick me up at the airport tomorrow. Don't send your men either." Yelena waited for his response with a hint of nervousness on her face.

Felix frowned at her request. "That's a ridiculous request. You want to be alone? For you, it's a foreign country and it's not safe to be alone." He scowled. Why was she always so daring?!

"You always underestimate me. I'm more than capable to protect myself. It will be my first time there and before you came to me and put me under tight security, I want to wander around as much as I could. That's why I booked a ticket for the earliest flight of the day." She explained, inwardly praising herself for her great idea.

Just before he could protest, she shut him up by saying, "You know I love travelling. It's also the way we met." Her voice trailed off when she thought about the reasons for her travelling. It was always her brother.

Felix sighed in defeat. "Alright. But you should promise me that you will be in touch all the time." He said, patiently.

"Okay. That's not hard." She cheered up and giggled like a little kid. It's been a while since the thought of travelling excites her to this extent!

After they ended the call, Yelena slept right away, keeping in mind the long yet exciting day that would await her.

When the sun rises beautifully in Edeladon, Felix walked out of his room in the villa to see Cayden as he promised. Around two hours ago, she received a text from Yelena saying that her flight was about to take off. That means she will reach Edeladon by 10 in the morning.

He walked inside one room with Matthew following him and Cayden was there sitting on the floors in one corner of the room. The latter immediately stood up when he saw him.

"I come to listen to your answers," Felix said as he made his way to the couch in the middle. "Have a seat."

Cayden walked forward and did as he was told. He remembered how the Prince promised to make him answer his questions by the morning. Now that the time had come, he wondered what happened during the night.

"I dispatched your family to a safe place last night. Whoever threatened you, he won't be able to find them no matter what. I also instructed my men to watch over them 24/7 and ensure their safety." Felix said to Cayden who was looking at him with a flustered face.

"Don't think too much about it. I'm the Crown Prince of this nation. Protecting the citizens is my duty." He deadpanned.

Matthew came forward and showed Cayden the video call that connected him to his mother and younger sister. The two women were safe and they told Cayden not to worry about them.

"We make a move last night," Matthew said to Cayden. "The enemies were following us and it's not easy to lose them. But His Highness's plan worked well and we successfully completed the task." He informed the man who was once the Chief Guard of the Crown Prince's guard. "His Highness took a huge risk for this. Please don't let him down." Matthew pleaded with his former boss.

Witnessing his beloved family safe and sound, Cayden let out a breath. He nervously glanced at the Prince who was staring at him with an unreadable face. "What do you want to hear?" He asked.

"Everything you know. All of them." Felix responded. "But I want to know the answer to this question the most. I deem it as the most important one." He added.

Cayden put his head lowered, waiting for the question but when he heard what it was, he felt his throat running dry!

"Since when was it started? Your betrayal." The Prince's voice was firm and clear which added to the pressure that Cayden felt. He could even felt a shiver running down his spine!

Mustering his courage, Cayden spoke up yet his head remained lowered. "After you met Captain Yelena and fell in love with her."

"That's two months ago," Felix uttered. "Why? Does it have anything to do with her?" He asked.

"He told me that he didn't want to see you being happy. He wants you to live in regret for the rest of your life. Repenting and being haunted by Ms. Laria's death." Cayden's voice trailed off in the end. Even he never mentioned Cara Laria to the Prince unless the latter asked him. It was always a sensitive topic for the Prince.

Felix was reminded of the call he received. Even at that time, the man said that he enjoyed seeing him suffer. Everything was connected.

"What would he get from it?" The Prince asked. His face was calm yet there were many things beneath it.

"I don't know but he hates to know that you are digging up Ms. Laria's case. He wants you to stop. That's why I asked you to move on when you're in the Arista family villa, Your Highness. I didn't want you to get hurt from this. If you are persistent, it will be dangerous for not only you but also for Captain Yelena. It's -"

"Who is he?" Felix asked, making Cayden immediately stopped whatever he was saying. His once calm eyes were now burning with rage and determination.....
