Fate DxD: Archer Reborn

Counter Guardian Emiya is sighing, after once again he failed to kill his younger self, and right now he is sitting in the surface of the sand inside his Unlimited Blade Works, waiting for his next task from Alaya.

He already give up to free himself from Alaya grasp, because whatever he do to destroy his fate as the Counter Guardian is always failed.

So Emiya could only give up and accept his fate as the Counter Guardian.

Doing a task from Alaya to became the executioner for anyone that became a threat to humanity regardless the person he killed was guilty or not, as long the humanity is preserve. That was is his task as the Counter Guardian.

But Emiya right know didn't realize that his fate as the Counter Guardian will end sooner than he tought.

The ultimate wish that impossible for him to finally would be fulfilled.

Because right now, slowly Emiya is realize that something strange has happen to his Unlimited Blade Works.

The fog and the floating giant cog that covered the sky is vanish.

And there is something that made him feel really confused. The bond between him and Alaya is destroyed! Emiya can feel that right now he is no longer a Counter Guardian.

Emiya smiling and crying, his curse fate as the mass murder finally finish.

But before he could celebrate his freedom,

Emiya body starting to disappear from the Unlimited Blade Works.

He don't know what has happened to him right now, but Emiya had a feeling that his destiny as a hero isn't over yet.

When Emiya opened his eyes he was in a very bright room, so bright that he could not open his eyes fully.

"Emiya Shirou," A voice echoed in the room saying his old name.

"Who?" Emiya asked. "Who called my name?"

Emiya looked in the direction of the voice, and what he saw was someone wearing white clothes with a very bright light emanating from His body.

"I talk to you Emiya Shirou," Said the Voice again. "I am the God Almighty, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. The Beginning and the End."

"God?" Emiya said. "That's impossible! There is no such thing as God in this world! There are only Gaia and Alaya! Plus Root!"

"It's all because I rarely do things that can be considered striking miracles in the dimension where you live so it's not strange if you doubt my existence," Said the Lord. "But don't you want to know why you can be free from the bondage of the devil who claims to be a human helper named Alaya?"

"A-Are You the one who eliminated Alaya?" Emiya asked, trembling and full of fear at hearing the words of God.

"Finally you realize something Emiya Shirou," said the Lord. "It's true that I the one who destroy Alaya from existence."

"If You destroy Alaya, then why am I here now?" Shirou asked. "Shouldn't my spirit be gone or am I in hell with all the sins I have committed?"

"Your spirit does not disappear or go to hell because I immediately brought you with Me to this place," Answered the Lord. "Because I feel you deserve to be given a second chance even with all the sins you have committed."

"Second chance?" Emiya said. "Do I deserve a second chance? I am a super selfish and stubborn person who is more concerned with saving others than paying attention to people who are close and dear to me! I am a man with Savior Complex who is really bad and can not be treated anymore! After I died and became a Counter Guardian I committed many sins by killing thousands and even millions of people! Why God! Why do you want to give me a second chance! "

"

"Yes," answered God. "I also eliminated Gaia along with Alaya, because Gaia wants to eliminate the human I created, at this moment the two demons that have become tumors for humanity are no longer in the dimension where you live and in many other dimensions where they have influence. "

   "What I want to know is God," Shirou said. "What chance does God want to give me?"

"The opportunity to life more rightly," answered God. "And of course to help Me do something in the dimension where you will live your second life."

"I have no problem with doing that task, Lord," Emiya said. "But in that world will I be someone else, or will I still be myself?"

"You will still be yourself," God answered. "In fact I am giving you some abilities that will help you in the dimension where I will send you."

"It's good that I will be myself," Emiya said. "But what ability will I get from you, O Lord?"

"That you will know for yourself once you are in that dimension," answered the Lord. "Plus there was a surprise for you as soon as you arrived in that dimension."

"Surprise?" Emiya said feeling a little confused.

"I have told you everything you need to know, Emiya," said the Lord. "Right now I'll will send you to that world!"

Emiya still wants to ask God more questions, but suddenly his body is completely immobile and his mouth cannot speak at all. And slowly Emiya's body disappeared from that place.

"I hope he can carry out the tasks I have given to him," Said the Lord. "And I hope he not angry with the surprise I gave to him."
