My fingers brush against the smooth outer covering of books, their skins are cool and bumpy. Obviously made from fine leather. My eyes take in every detail and title, hoping to find something that can help me. Before I could reach the end of the aisle I heard a thud behind me. Turning around I see no one, but a book on the floor.

At first glance, its easy to overlook. Confusion fills my head, because that book wasn't there before. And I'm positive of my observation skills so how could I have missed it. I don't make tiny mistakes like that. Hmm, I wonder how it got there?

Curiosity wins in my internal struggle so I go to pick it up. It's jet black, with a feather exquisitely drawn on the cover and a ruby red insignia at the bottom. The title reads:

"Chuanqi Jian Shu."

Legendary Sword Book. Wow, It seems that I've hit the jackpot. I think this book can aid me in me in my research, so I head to the back of the library, like my brother instructed.

The further I go, the colder it gets. I'm glad I dressed appropriately. The place looks dark and desolate. As if its haunted by ghosts. And the interesting part is that its a whole other time zone here. Night. I can see the moons' silver rays shining through one of the windows onto the shelves. It gives me the feeling of goosebumps.

(Back of the library)

There are no tables and chairs back here. Why would Benji suggest this place if there is no where I can sit to read!? Ugh! As I look around an idea pops into my head. 'I can just read my books on top of the bookshelves. They are tall enough so that no one can notice my presence, and they are lined with velcro at the top so it should be more than comfortable.' Yep, that's what I'm gonna do.

I chant a wind levitation spell so that I can move upwards without draining my qi. Its one of the many mana manuals' spells that I've learnt over these years. I wouldn't be boasting if I said I can recite all of them by heart.

(Basically melia floating to the top)

Landing safely on my feet I look around in satisfaction. There's a lot of space up here, that if I wanted to lay down I wouldn't feel cramped. I rest the book down and take out the alchemy book from my space. Now I can study in peace.

I start with the book that has information on legendary swords. Flipping through the pages I nearly reached the middle of it before I find what I'm looking for.

At the top it has a picture of the sword and next to it, the words say:

(Use for reference )

what you see, maybe not necessarily be the truth. Look deeper than what your eyes may perceive, harder than what your hearts drumming but feel and sense the way your soul undertakes.

This is a real brain teaser. I think on the words and what they mean, but it's as though I've reached some type of wall. The answer is on the tip of my tongue but I can't seem to understand it.

Oh well I have time.

I go over the words under the picture, hoping to find more answers in the passage.

The Sakura Jian is a legendary mythical weapon. Wielded by the most powerful blacksmith in the world. Rafiki. It was crafted using the following materials:

Melted dragon plates. They were boiled using lava from the Rakshaka volcanoe, which gets its fire from the phoenix which lives inside. The plates were used as the blade. Its razor sharp. Tales describe it as being capable of cutting a drop of water in two, mid air.

The ruby eye from a Slytherin, a poisonous snake that dwells in the forest of tortured souls, was hammered into the hilt of the Jian. Its said to be the reason why the swords wileder was able to control the weapon via telepathy.

Another part of the strong and magestic sword was the hilt. It was made using the skin of the Slytherin. Cool and strong it gives you a firm grip, making it easy to control. The scales from the snake are resistant to almost any force, so it was also used in the construction of the scabbard. They are a shiny silver with red crystalized veins intricately woven on it.

The veins somehow ended up being dyed onto the Jian in the shape of cherry blossoms. So Rafiki named it Sakura Jian, a feminine male so that it wouldn't be too masculine.

This sword was made for the legendary cultivator Mystic Song. She was the most powerful female cultivator on the continent. Who suddenly disappeared along with her partner Silver Shadow. He was even more powerful than her.

Stories say that she and her partner forcefully bonded their souls and to complete the process they had to go through the 10 reincarnation cycles. But when they return, it will be to save the world from the great battle that will happen in the future.

The sword will only recognize one owner in its entire lifetime, and that is Mystic Song. People who've seen her say that the way she wields it, is as though she's dancing. You can hear the sharp cut of the air as the sword smoothly glides through it. The whole scene was like a work of art.

It took only a short time for her to master the sword art. And the way she displayed it and utilized its powers was as though she was telling a story, a song.

At the end I can feel my heart beating out of my ċhėst. The story had totally entranced me. I'm a bit sad though, I won't be able to wield this majestic weapon. I wonder if the old man knows a cheat, which he probably does. I'll infer to him about it after I'm done. Talking to him takes a lot of my energy.

I pack away the book in my space and go on to the next one, which is the alchemy book.

If there's one thing I need, its pills. And with this war, it is a necessity.

On the first page it says; For beginners who want to learn alchemy, it would be highly suggested that they have both the fire and wood element. You also need to have strong mental power and endurance. If you don't have these attributes then it is tough to excel in the path of alchemy.

Good thing I have those things. Not sure about the mental fortitude part, as that is a bit tricky. I think it has to do with my mental stability, and how I focus on the construction of the medication and observation. Though I could be wrong, which I doubt.

I skip over the introductory to alchemy part. As I already know what alchemy is, from my many years of Xianxia and Wuxia novels.

I turn my attention back to the sword book. And on closer inspection I see that there is another piece of information, on the back page that wasn't there before. It says that the Sakura Jian and Dragon's Breath Ruby's are a pair, when you use the two the power radiating from it is awe inspiring.

Your skills are increased ten fold. You can move faster than the eye can correlate, looking invisible as your hand quickly moves with the sword. There is a special skill that you should utilize when using the two together. It's called the 'Fire Encirclement Death bringer.'

It says that when Mystic Song displayed this skill, it was during the last battle. Her eyes had turned red, nothing was exempted. Her hair flew wildly about behind her. A circle of fire had encircled her entire body, and she was able to control the globe like thing. The Sakura Jian had transformed into at least ten thousand swords. They all portruded from the bubble that Mystic Song was inside.

Everywhere she directed it to go, there was death and fire. The blades easily sliced their victims to pieces, while the fire burnt them to ashes. They said that it wasn't ordinary fire, but the legendary golden flame that was said to be seen once a phoenix transcends. It kills anything in its way, nothing is immune, especially impure substances.

This skill has only been used once and that was by Mystic Song, the creator. Nobody knows if it can be revolutionized or not, as the secret of its creation died along with its master.

Wow this Mystic Song and her husband are truly heroin figures. There should've been an cultivation novel on them, I'd surely read it.

I decide to check out some more books. My memory going back to that night I caught Jezebeth trying to poison my father, and the words Tian Tian said to me there, as he stood on a dead body. Sebastian talked about some tribe. Akala- no, Akulo-no what was it, oh yeah! The Akumi tribe. I couldn't find any information on them in fathers' library, it was like they didn't exist at all. Lets hope they have something on them here.

I jump down from the book shelf, after I was sure no one was around to see.

I have a strong feeling that what I need is in the back of the library. And my instincts are never wrong.

In the last row I got into a deep scary corner. Okay, I'm exaggerating, it is not that scary. Just some cobwebs, dust, and vague lighting. On the side of the shelf, it was labeled Tribe categories. So I was right!

I pull back from touching the books. They look as though they haven't been cleaned in centuries. The titles vary from tribal songs and dances to what I'm looking for, Tribal dark magic. I pick up the book and blow off the dust, coughing a bit as I inhale some. My nerves scream in anticipation, and I'm not one for being patient. So I open the book. What greets my eye is something horrifying! I drop the book in shock and back away.
