"5 months later"

It's been a few months since Baozi had returned to my side. Training has begun to prepress and become more vigorous than it was before. It feels as though I'm in a military camp. The Jade Emperor has me doing push-ups, pull ups and everything else of the sort, to tone my body and endurance. To sum it up It's been hell, but a durable hell. It brings me back to the times when I were a toddler, and Master would have me doing routines similar to these.

Baozi has had might I say a very huge glow up. I don't know what the Jade Emperor has been feeding him but he is at the same height as me. Well it's not that much considering I am just above the five foot mark, but it is a start.

Baozi and I had just finished our five hour combat training when we finally got our break.

"Master did you see me!? I was all pow! Pow! And you were all Boom! Grrr!"

"What? When did I growl!? Who even says 'Grr'?" I honestly don't remember saying anything of the sort. Now I may have bitten my lip, to prevent myself from cursing at the senile bird, but I know I did not growl!

"Master I guess the beating you took from me earlier has given you temporary memory loss. Do you have a concussion master!? Oh no did I hit you too hard! I didn't know you were such a softy master!" I repeat in my mind that answering his statement will just fuel his attention-seeking behavior. So I do the one thing any cultivator would do in my position.

"Baozi?"

"Yes ma-

I blast him with a fireball directed at his ȧss. Don't provoke the fire if you can't take the burn. That was one of the sayings Min Hao would always yell at me. Ah, what fun times.

Baozi's once porcelain smoothie skin was now charred and red. The cloth that was covering his ȧss already burnt to pieces.

"Melia, that is the sixtieth time this week! Have you no shame girl!?"

"No offense but have you met my father your majesty. As they say, the Apple never does fall far from the tree." I explained, adding a little skip in my step as I sauntered away from the angry oak tree. Bali stayed behind with the Oak tree, complaining about his burnt ȧss....literally.

I return to my resting place which isn't much if you think about it. A rope tied between to trees. It's supposed to help with my alertness and balance yada yada yada a very important ȧsset again for my upcoming battle. I lay down on the thin rope, resting my arm over my eyes to hide the glare from the sun. Ever since I came here, I haven't had a weird dream since, and I must say it has been very peaceful.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Every evening in the darkness of the night at foggy hour I have to get up to learn cultivation art manuals. I must memorize ten every two days, and display them in my training exam at the end of two weeks. I must also come up with a way to combine at least three of them, intertwining one of my given elements in it as well. It's so stressful and frustrating at times, but I only have to do some deep breathing and calming exercises to bring me back down, clear and level headed. That's one of the upsides to this extreme training. I've been able to stay calm in nerve wrecking situations. The complete opposite of the old me back in the kingdom.

I'm currently reading over three manuals at this moment, they are both based on my wood attribute. I have to admit that I am very curious. I sit staring intently cross legged on the green grass looking over the words. The moon's luminous white rays cast their light on my figure, making my appearance seem ethereal, with my long silver hair spread out around like a blanket. My multi-colored eyes take in nothing but the text before me, filled with an intense glint.

It seems as though I am too pre-occupied with what I am reading. A very large charcoal black with glowing brown eyes snake slither a few feet away from me. Back in my world this snake could be considered an SS tamer's job. Meaning this beast is of blue rank just below the purple rank, which just happens to be just below the divine rank. Keeping it simple this beast is very dangerous and if it attacks while I am unaware it could get very serious.

Thankfully I keep my senses alert even when I am reading. As the snake was about to pounce on me it's unsuspecting "victim " I use one of my newly learned wood manipulation moves. Using the tree that currently holds my bed, I maneuver and guide it's bendable body into a pointed needle and aim it towards the snakes direction. I infuse a bit of my earth element in the tree to make sure that once the tree size needle hits its target the snake cannot get away, but instead slowly gets suċkėd up into the Earth like quicksand, swallowing it's struggling prey.

The move was swift and neat, the blue rank snake died before it could even know that there was danger near. Just because I don't talk about it a lot does not mean that my cultivation strength is just slightly above average. Hell fuċkɨnġ no! I'm one of THE strongest cultivators there is on that continent, and when I go back, I am gonna show those dang blasted monsters just how powerful this princess really is.

(A/N : And that's on periods sis)

I walk to the snake picking up its lifeless body. While it is still in my hands I use my fire element to incinerate it, the only part left behind is its eyes. I can use this for my alchemy lesson tomorrow. I'm planning on becoming an expert in concocting poisons. That doesn't mean I don't know how to heal people, but...why go down that route when I have my dear friend Ora by my side. She's a maniac when it comes to that kind of stuff.

I pack the snake eyes away in my interspace bag and go back to studying.

I can't believe that wood element has so many uses. In particular the roots. I've never really thought of using them as a weapon but I totally forgot just how deep and wide a trees roots can grow, and the strength actually hidden in it. Although, being able to wield the roots of trees requires a lot of Qin and strong meridians. However the most important part is mental strength along with ENERGY.

Don't worry I have all of those, it's just I don't know how long I can last if I use this move.

I get up off of the ground and dust off my knees. With my back straight I look off into the distance, searching for a place to practice the move I just studied. It's called the root dividing Aarok.
