"Baby when are you getting home?" My wife Nina asked through the phone.

"I'll be there sweetheart please just go to bed." I said taking a drink of my beer. She mumble something on the other line before hanging up.

"Dude you have to forget about your feelings for Hayley." Max said as he took a drink.

I envied Max. He had a beautiful wife and a baby son who looks just as him. He had the perfect family.

I shrugged. "I'm totally over her." I said making him turn his head to me with a 'yeah right' face.

"I am." I exclaimed before taking another sip of my beer. Max stared at me for a moment.

"Okay so you're saying you wouldn't care if I told you Hayley had a child and was married to Ashton." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay I still have feelings for her but I love Nina." I said lowly. Max got up and pat my shoulder.

"Go home to your wife. She's the one who really loves you. Now I have to get home to Crystal or I'll be dead by tomorrow. I'll see you later bro. "He said before getting up and walking away.

Deep down I still have feelings for Hayley even if she doesn't feel the same way but my heart belongs to Nina.

I got up and started making my way through the dancing bodies and out the club.

I walked in the house and quietly shut the door behind me. I took my shoes off and walked up the stairs.

Opening the door to mines and Nina room I was met with her crying softly on the bed.

"Nina." I called making her snap her head up at me. She quickly wiped her tears as I made my way to her.

I sat down and stared at the women before me. Her big afro was curly, her brown smooth skin glowed from the light coming from the lamp next to her. Her big brown eyes stared at me watery.

"Why are you crying?" I asked but she simply ignored me and stared down at her lap.

I lift her chin up so I could see her beautiful face again. "Why are you crying?" I asked once again.

Nina sniffed. "I-I thought you d-didn't love me anymore. I-I though you didn't want me and wanted someone else." I was shocked at her words.

Staring at her sad face made me realize that I've been hurting her. Not physically but mentally. I never really showed her love, I never spent time with her and not know it was hurting her...

I was to busy hooked up on Hayley.

"I-Im sorry." I apologized. "I love you Nina. I'm so sorry for not being the husband I'm suppose to be. I'm sorry for not being here with you, for not showing you any affection. I really am sorry and will be a better husband to you." I said confidently.

I wiped the tear that rolled down Nina's cheek. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you to." I said before crashing my lips to hers. I kissed her passionately and slowly. The kiss was filled with emotions and I knew at that moment,

Nina was the one for me.
