"Bang"

The thunder rumbled from heaven and fell over Fei's body. But before it could touch his body, half of it was swallowed by the black hole and the dragon spirit. Only the half of thunder fell over his body which was once again blocked by strange runes all around his body.

These strange runes were little similar to golden runes, but these runes swallowed the thunder all around his body instantly, even the devouring martial spirit and dragon spirit barely swallowed half of it, while these strange runes were so ferocious that they swallowed all that thunder.

The next moment, strange and cool energy passed through his meridians and began to empower his body. Suddenly, a strange voice rang in his mind 'Dao Body, created out of three thousand daos, within three thousand runes, empowers the body with energy, a body that can grow infinitely, a body that can strengthen core infinitely, a body that all paths shall accept.'

All kinds of information were pouring into his mind. The Dao Body was the initial phase of the Indestructible Immortal Body. It is said Buddha once created a meditation that had the power to absorb energy and empower the body. At first, Buddha thought it would be just a normal occurrence but later, he found this kind of meditation had no limits.

Just like Heaven Devouring Dragon Body, it had a limitless possibility to evolve. But it also had different levels. Since Buddha created such meditation, he also knew the consequences of his creation. He was a peace-loving character; he only wants to enlighten himself.

So he created the first creature out of this meditation. The art of meditation was lost, but it created a person with the same ability that his meditation could grant. Fei found Dao and Tao are the same but for Buddha, Tao is something he wants, Dao is something other want. But both are the paths for cultivator.

Tao had three jewels;

1- Compassion, Kindness, and Love

2- Moderation, Simplicity, and Frugality

3- Humility and Modesty.

Buddha wanted to walk on the path of Taoism. He believes the ultimate goal for obtaining enlightenment is to gain Tao. He had compassion, kindness, and love in his heart. He was modest, simple, and could bear humility.

Because of this creation, Buddha ascended to the realm that current Fei doesn't know. He knows that realm was at least 'Out of Creation' but he doesn't know everything about it. Since Buddha ascended, he couldn't stay at the place he wanted to, so the supreme position of Buddhism was left empty.

But Buddha left his incarnation known as Tathagata in the World of Buddhism. Originally, Tathagata was supposed to fill the supreme position left empty by Buddha, unfortunately, the creation of Buddha revolt against Buddha

Buddha wanted to achieve Tao but his path was the path of Buddhism that he couldn't change, and that is also why he created a person bearing the power of meditation who could walk on the path of Taoism.

But he didn't expect his creation will get the wrong intellect about his objectives. His creation created Nine Ways of Taoism that surpasses the Six Chants of Buddhism, which made him overly confident to turn Buddhism into Taoism.

However, this wasn't something Buddha wanted. Unfortunately, he couldn't descent himself to solve the problem so left that in their hands. After that, the Lord of Taoism created another art known as Dao Body Tempering Art based on his own body and circulate it throughout Buddhism.

Before Tathagata could know about everything, the Lord of Taoism had already gathered half of the Buddhist monks to follow his path and leave Buddhism. This is also why his revolt was successful. It's not like the Lord of Taoism is bad or evil, it just that the path chosen by Tao is different.

This path is more of caring, modesty, peace, love, and more of positive feelings, but this also allows them to evolve unlimitedly.

From the information he got, he understood this ability of his could only be gained because he got the blood of Golden Buddha who had followed Lord of Taoism from the earliest age. At this moment, he really felt good because he was literally getting stronger by swallowing the thunder.

But after twenty thunder strikes, things got serious. Upcoming thunder strikes made his whole body trembled by force. Even his Nine Elements Chaos Devouring Physique barely held the power of remaining thunder.

If it wasn't for him having a strong body, he might have just died. He was not countering at all; all he did was to absorb the energy of thunder. If he had counter like a normal person with a normal would've done, then he might not have suffered so easily.

But he can't do that, because he was literally using thunder to enhance his body. But soon after thirty thunderbolts, he felt he can't use his body alone to block it. Of course, he won't use martial art still, especially those which requires his body to move a lot, not now at least.

Even his Golden Dragon Transformation was about to run out. After all, it has already been thirty strikes of thunderbolts. Just one would take more than five minutes, so how Golden Dragon Transformation could remain till now. But one thing was still there.

Suddenly, he shouted "Dream Space Open!"

From his body, an angel came out. This scene startled everyone, including the angel. But she could only hear "Yao'er move away"

Without any hesitation, he ran away, and only then her eyes saw Fei standing under the thunder tribulation. This completely confused her. What the hell did he do to get such a powerful punishment? Previously before the second trial, she entered his Bloodline Space because there he can bend everything to his Will.

The time ratio has increased to 5:1, five days inside = a day outside. He gave her some divine crystals and let her use those to continue cultivation. The reason he did so was to check her loyalty. "Ice Dragon Cage" The ice mana flow out of his body, the cage was to bind thunder. The ice dragon was formed out of ice mana, it roared towards the thunder. The ice dragon spreads its arm and forms a cage. The ice cage binds the thunder, but this was thirty-first thunders, not an easy one to bind.

"Bang" Although it decreased the thunder's momentum and energy, it was still broken.

"Boom" The thunder falls on his body.

"Gui" This was terrifying, his martial spirit phantom blow out, same goes for his dragon spirit. Even his Dao Body was almost smashed down; he coughed the blood out of his mouth due to the impact. It wasn't the ordinary thunder at all.

Fei eyeballs rolled and looked at the panel of his current strength.

Attack Power- 1400

Defense- 1300

Endurance- 1200

Stamina- 1000

"Since, it has increased by so much. Let me fight it on my own." Fei wiped out the blood in his mouth. Only Dao Body remained in his body, star force flooded out in his body, spiritual energy was rumbling in his fist. He looked up at the upcoming thunder and clenched his fist. The power of Five Elements God Force stock up in his fist.

The law of Five Elements swirls around his fist, and the spiritual energy formed in his feet as he jumped up.

"Nine Dragons Soaring Nine Heavens- A dragon soars" Fei roared and rushed towards the thunder.

Five Elements Divine Dragon Martial Spirit showed up behind the Fei and Fei came up with the fist against the thunderbolt.

"Five Elements God's Fist"

"Bang"

His fist shattered the thunder into thousands of sparkles. They spread away, trying to fall everywhere but how could he let that happen. The only thing that has remained except dao body, World Suppressing Hands that was overwhelming with purple energy which was the reason to scattered the thunder.

But that wasn't the reason he remembered this, instead, it was a completely different reason.

"Dream Dao- Dream Space"

At that moment, his dream dao was activated with the dream bloodline. The reason he did so was to use the power of dream space in the reality. Dream Dao was like a transmission for Dream Space. His Devouring Martial Spirit was shut down, he couldn't use it now.

So he could only use this trick.

"Dream Space- Devour"

All kinds of laws, everything in the dream world can be bent on his Will. This was the rule of Dream Space and that was exactly something happening currently.

"Whoosh" But it was only for a second, nothing more because even his current cultivation can't support this trick outside for more than a second. Still, it was very much enough because the next moment all those thunder energies rushed towards his body like a magnet.

This power of devouring was countless times power than Devouring Martial Spirit. At this moment, he let those strange runes absorb those pure thunder energies. This was constantly improving his body, even though the most of energy was gone, it was still the pure form of energy, at least ten times purer than the first thunderbolt.

After absorbing this energy, Fei smirk at the thunderbolt and shouted "This is the best"
