Finding Stardust
179 Going Back Home To Akkadia
Xion burst into laughter when he saw the interaction between Emma and Therius. Aha ... this couple is so cute, he thought.
Unfortunately, in that lounge, only he could see the cuteness of what happened. Therius and Emma both found it unfunny and immediately glared at Xion.
"You promised to fulfill your role for the next five years," said Therius. "Are you telling me that I shouldn't trust you and you won't keep your promises?"
Emma bit her lip at Therius' question. She finally took a deep breath and shook her head.
"I won't break my promise," She hastily added, "but we will only act like a couple in front of other people. If there are only three of us, we don't need to pretend. So watch out, don't you dare taking advantage of me!"
"I understand." Therius nodded. "But don't you think we should practice our roles to look natural? If people get suspicious, I'm not sure our plans will work out well."
"Hmmph ... Don't worry. I don't need to practice. I can do it," said Emma. "Now, what should we do now? When do we move to The Dragonite?"
"We can move here now. I will ask Atila to get your things and move them here. Now, I'll show you your room," replied Therius.
He got up and motioned for the two to follow him. Therius, Emma, and Xion walked out of the lounge, and in front of the door, they saw a soldier waiting for them on a buggy.
"We will ride this so you won't get tired of walking," said Therius.
Emma was delighted to hear that. She felt unhappy when she had to walk across The Dragonite earlier. The ship was huge and she was tired.
The three people then got on the buggy, which immediately sped across the hall and led them through various places and corridors.
The Dragonite looked like a large building with several floors. There were a main hall and lobby that connected to various parts of the ship.
There were so many people and buggies passing by. The atmosphere reminded Emma of a busy mall in Shanghai that was full of people. Really, this ship seemed to have its own ecosystem.
They arrived at an area that looked like a row of hotel rooms and got off the buggy. The driver remained in the small lobby after the passenger got off. He was apparently told to stand by in case Prince Licht needed him.
"Our room is in this area," said Therius, pointing to a row of doors on the right. "We are neighbors now."
They entered the first, second, and third rooms and found that all three looked similarly nice. It was bigger and more luxurious than their rooms at The Coralia. Emma really liked the large window that gave her a really lovely view of the outside. From her window, she could see the green valley beneath the hill where Daneria base was built.
"I like the room," said Emma with satisfaction.
"Good. Then you can rest now. Soon your belongings will be brought here," said Therius. "My room is next door. You can knock on my door at any time."
Therius chose the room between Emma's and Xion's room. It would be easy for them to coordinate should anything happened.
"Where is the clinic?" Asked Emma before Therius walked out of her room. Emma's priority was always Haoran's safety. That's why she didn't forget to ask about the clinic where they would treat Haoran.
"There's a hospital on the second floor. Atila will show you around tomorrow. You don't have to worry about Haoran. Doctor Salas will make sure he's all right." Therius looked at Emma intently. "If you paid too much attention to another man who is not me - other people will be suspicious. There are too many people in The Dragonite. You have to maintain your role as my fiancee."
Emma pursed her lips at Therius' words. She knew the man was right, but she really resented the idea that she had to pay less attention to Haoran.
"Very well," said the girl finally. She knew she really had no choice.
"One more thing ..." Therius said before he left Emma's room. His eyes were fixed on Emma's ring finger, which was still wearing the titanium ring. Her wedding ring. "People will be suspicious if they see you and Haoran wearing couple rings. I hope you will take it off. If you don't want to take your ring off, please at least remove Haoran's ring from his finger."
"Oh ..." Emma was stunned by Therius words. She really hated it that Therius was right again. She reluctantly nodded. "All right. I'll do it."
Therius nodded in satisfaction and walked out of Emma's room to his own place. Meanwhile, Xion who was walking behind him could only frown.
He still couldn't guess the mystery with Emma's ring that ended up with Therius in the past. What caused Emma to lose her ring 20 years ago? And why did Therius have her ring?
Xion was forced to keep these questions to himself. Therius never wanted to tell him anything about the ring, because for him it was the greatest secret of his life. Maybe one day Xion would find out for himself in some other way.

The transfer of goods and people from The Coralia to The Dragonite ship was done efficiently. As Therius promised, the next day, Atila took Emma to the hospital and met Natan, who had moved to the hospital in The Dragonite.
Emma was very relieved to find that Haoran had been transferred to one of the private wards at the hospital and looked well cared for. As long as Nathan was there, Emma felt she didn't have to worry about anything.
After saying goodbye to Professor Amara and several high-ranking Daneria base officials, Therius' group and 10,000 soldiers under General Moria's command on the Dragonite ship then left for Planet Akkadia. Their journey would take another 2.5 months.
Emma's chest was pounding at the thought that soon she would be able to meet her mother and father ... and her little brother.
Oh ... she really missed them.
