"Thank you," the man whispered. His smile grew wider. He touched Emma's chin and lifted it gently, so he could see her face clearly. 

Emma looked at Therius and she felt touched when she saw the happy expression on the young man's face.

Therius stared intently at Emma's face as if he wanted to carve every inch of her face in his heart. He thought the girl was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life.

The beautiful girl got carried away when Therius brought his face closer and gently kissed her little lips. Emma closed her eyes and received the meeting of their lips with resignation.

Therius grabbed the girl's shoulder and hugged her more tightly while he continued kissing Emma wholeheartedly.

Finally ... this girl belonged to him ... after twenty long years!

In the past, he only felt admiration and gratitude to the beautiful girl who saved his life when he was young. Little Prince Licht didn't know who that mysterious girl was. After he grew up, he tried to search who she was but never managed to find a clue.

However, suddenly, seven months ago, Therius saw his savior again. He was very surprised to see the beautiful girl, with platinum hair and blue topaz eyes, was crying on the screen of a messenger ship. She claimed her name was Emma Stardust and asked to be brought back to Akkadia, so she could meet her family.

Memories after memories flooded back in, and Therius was fascinated when he realized that his savior had actually come from the future. At that time, he was still not sure, because it felt like all this was too absurd ...

He almost thought he was going crazy!

However, when they finally met at Emma's school prom... he became convinced after seeing Emma in person, standing before him. She looked exactly like the girl he met twenty years ago ... and she was also wearing the ring she had dropped while leaving in a hurry.

This time Emma didn't push him away like she did when they kissed in the salt flat in Daneria. Emma let Therius claimed her lips and explore her mouth, and after a while, Emma even responded to his actions. 

They kissed and devoured each other for several minutes and forgot about their surroundings. Only when Therius' lips started to go down to Emma's neck and his hand slipped under the girl's clothes did she move and pushed him.

"Uhm ... it's already late," said Emma, ​​catching her breath, after gasping for air from their passionate kiss. She turned and walked away from Therius. "It's time for me to sleep."

They were indeed not far from Emma's room. The girl decided to escape to her room before things with Therius escalated into something further, as they were engulfed by desire.

She was also feeling guilty to Haoran for kissing another man. Now, Emma wanted to calm down and think about all that had happened.

Therius quickly walked up to Emma's footsteps and put his arm around her waist.

"Let me walk you," the man whispered. His voice was hoarse and his body temperature rose several degrees. Emma stopped and looked at Therius closely.

"I'm already here. You don't need to walk me," Emma argued.

She didn't want to open her bedroom door for him. Their kiss just now was too hot. If they did it again in her bedroom, Emma wasn't sure she and Therius wouldn't sleep together.

Emma had not been touched sexually for a long time, from the moment Haoran got sick. As a sexually active woman, she also had her needs, but she worked hard to suppress those thoughts during the lonely nights she spent alone, crying for Haoran.

Her husband had been lying in a coma for nearly seven months and Emma had always been on her own. She kept hoping that, one day, Haoran would wake up, even though deep down, she knew that the chances of Haoran recovered were very small. 

Tonight's events seemed to open Emma's eyes that she had been in denial for months. Now, she was forced to accept that after Leon was executed, she had no hope of ever seeing Haoran recover.

Finally, Emma relented. She nodded. Therius smiled a little and hugged her very tightly. Oh, how he wished he didn't have to let go of this girl from his embrace.

"Good night. Sleep well," said Emma.

Therius finally let go of his arms reluctantly and nodded. "Good night."

Emma turned and walked into her bedroom and closed the door behind her.

After he could no longer see Emma, ​​Therius let out a long sigh. He then turned around and walked to the east tower to find Xion.

He would tell him this good news! Emma agreed to marry him! This was worth celebrating!
