Finding Stardust

Yldwyn was the only girl with blue hair among the princesses who performed with their Pegasus in the sky just now. Her beauty was striking.

Of course, Emma was no less beautiful than her, but Emma did not stand out at all because she deliberately hid herself with a simple black attire and her hair in a bun.

Emma glanced to her left and right. She wanted to watch the reaction of the two men when they saw the seven beautiful princesses perform with their Pegasus.

Ha. She was surprised to find that none of the men was watching the show.

Apparently, Xion was busy writing his wishes on his lantern, while Therius seemed to be watching their surroundings with great vigilance. Emma then realized that no matter where they were, Therius never let his guard down.

Perhaps because they were now in a crowded place with tens of thousands of people, the man had even raised his guard up. Emma could see that the prince must have a lot of enemies, which turned him this way.

With that realization, Emma sipped the wine in her cup with a smile on her lips. At first, she thought that both Xion and Therius would be impressed to see beautiful girls who were clearly showing off their beauty in front of tens of thousands of festival-goers.

However, as it turned out, they didn't seem to care that some gorgeous princesses were dancing with their horses up there.

The beautiful music played throughout the plaza, enchanted everyone. Their gaze was fixed upwards, watching the performance of the seven golden Pegasus with the seven celestial goddesses riding them.

When the show ended, and the ladies and their mounts bowed down, the audience could not help but clap their hands wildly. The seven princesses were smiling broadly.

They looked at each other and then patted their horses, respectively. Three horses and their riders darted towards the West, and the other three darted towards the East. Meanwhile, the most beautiful horse, with the stunning blue-haired girl, was flying toward Emma's direction.

"What is she doing here?" asked Emma in bewilderment, when she realized that Yldwyn had turned her Pegasus towards them.

The eyes of the people were all fixed on the princess. They all followed her with their eyes as she was descending into the audience with an elegant movement and finally landed gracefully in the middle of the plaza.

The people near Emma's little group instantly cleared a path and let the horse land in their midst.

"Good evening, Your Highness. You are here too?" greeted Yldwyn in a crisp voice. "I saw your regular security team in the audience and immediately realized you are here. So, I came to say hi."

Therius furrowed his brows. He realized Yldwyn's line of sight from above was more expansive. That was why she could see the presence of Therius' security team and then search for him. Now, she decided to come down and say hello to the crown prince.

The people around them immediately held their breath. They only recognized Therius after Yldwyn came over to him.

"Princess Yldwyn." Therius nodded slightly. His countenance remained polite, but there was a cold aura emanating from him. Other girls would have been scared, but Yldwyn just smiled sweetly and walked even closer.

The people around them were so interested to see who this beautiful princess was talking to. It didn't take long before they could guess who the man was since Yldwyn bluntly called him 'Your Highness'. 

Immediately, voices of whispers and muffled sighs could be heard from among the crowd around them.

Therius became very upset because his identity was exposed by Yldwyn's presence. The girl seemed to come deliberately to greet him and blow his cover. 

Therius' intention to enjoy a quiet night with Emma and Xion was suddenly ruined and this pissed him off greatly.

He narrowed his eyes and glared at Yldwyn. However, Ylwdyn was a brave girl. She continued sauntered toward the man with a cute smiling face. As soon as Yldwyn arrived in front of Therius, the girl bowed to greet the crown prince formally, then she kissed him.

Everything happened so unexpectedly, and Therius didn't have time to dodge. When Yldwyn's lips touched his, the man spontaneously pushed her body.

"Princess Yldwyn, what are you doing?" asked Therius with furrowed brows. He was about to rub the marks of the girl's lips on his, but he managed to stop himself.

A gentleman shouldn't embarrass a woman, no matter what.

Yldwyn, who didn't expect to be pushed, pressed her lips with a shocked expression. Her eyes looked hurt, and tears immediately streamed down her face.

"Your Highness... Why did you push me so violently? Is this how you treat your future wife?" asked Yldwyn in a choked voice.

The people around them immediately held their breath and partly sighed in shock. Yldwyn's voice sounded clear enough to those close to them and the information spread rapidly to other people in the plaza.

So, Princess Yldwyn was Prince Licht's fiancee? Wow... why was the crown prince so heartless and pushed the princess so harshly?

Emma frowned when she heard such a bold statement from the beautiful blue-haired girl. She suspected something had happened in the palace that gave Yldwyn so much confidence to act this way toward the crown prince.

Was it true what Yldwyn said, that she was Therius's fiancée? What happened exactly? Did Therius know this? Emma quickly decided to read Yldwyn's mind.

Ah, she was so furious to find out that Queen Ygrit was again moving one step ahead of them. She had influenced King Cassius to force Therius to take Ylwyn as his wife, too, as the requirement to marry Emma Stardust.

Before Therius could say anything to Yldwyn, Emma had stepped in front of him and faced the Terren princess. Her hands were akimbo and she narrowed her eyes dangerously.

"Miss, I don't care if you are a princess. That doesn't give you any right to seduce another woman's husband, okay? We came here to enjoy the festival quietly. Please, before kissing a man, pay close attention to who he is! I think you mistook my husband for someone else. So shameless!!" Emma blurted harshly. "If you don't apologize to me for seducing my husband, I will hit your pretty face!"

Emma deliberately spoke so loudly so that everyone around them could hear her. Right now, she thought, the best solution was to pretend that Yldwyn was mistaking Therius, an ordinary man, for Prince Licht. After all, Therius was not wearing any regal outfit, and no one in the plaza could tell for sure whether he was really Prince Licht or not.

If Emma had let Therius scold Yldwyn, the festival-goers would have been convinced that the man Yldwyn had just kissed was really Prince Licht, and they were truly engaged.

This way, by making it look as if Yldwyn mistook an ordinary man as the prince and shamelessly kissed another woman's husband, Ylwdyn's reputation would be damaged.

Therius turned to Emma and stared at the girl with obvious admiration. Meanwhile, Xion just coughed, trying so hard to hold back his laughter.

As soon as Emma scolded Princess Yldwyn for her shameless deeds, the people around them were quick to judge the disgraceful princess from the palace.

"Gosh ... That beautiful princess was unable to recognize her own fiancé."

"Right! She just kissed someone's husband right away ... How shameless!"

Meanwhile, Yldwyn, who had absolutely no idea that Emma would smear her reputation in public like that, became furious. She widened her eyes in fury and spontaneously raised her right hand to slap Emma.

"What did you say to me? I wasn't kissing any other woman's husband ...! You know very well that Prince Licht is— Auwww!!!" Her angry outburst was suddenly replaced by a scream of pain when her hand slapped her own face.

Emma had secretly used her aeromancy to make the pretty girl slapped herself.

"Jeez .. it looks like this beautiful princess is crazy. She just slapped her own face," commented the people with a tone of pity.

"We should know that no human being is perfect. Such a beautiful girl is mentally ill. No wonder she kissed another woman's husband by mistake."

Their remarks were clearly heard by Ylwdyn. Her cheek hurt because of the slap earlier, but it was nothing compared to the pain she was feeling in her heart from being ridiculed by the people.

They were all so captivated by her charms only ten minutes ago when she was performing with her Pegasus in the sky. Now, they all called her crazy!

She raised her face and stared at Therius, with her eyes looking deeply hurt.

"How could you let me be humiliated like this in public, Your Highness? I am your future wife ..." said Yldwyn in a low voice. Her tears flowed profusely. She then turned around and left them with long strides.

Her tears were dripping as she dashed over to her Pegasus and climbed onto its back. Before long, she had disappeared with her mount toward the royal palace.

The incident caused a stir for a while, but then people forgot about it. Their attention was diverted when they heard loud music blaring.
