'Such a shameless girl. How dare she seduced Sir Marlowe.'

'I heard she went to his house by the forest. Such a daring woman!'

'I think I know someone who said Lee actually already had a boyfriend, but they broke up.'

Emma frowned in surprise.

She seduced Marlowe? When? How??

How on earth did they spread rumors about her breaking up with her 'boyfriend'?

"Lee! Did you go out alone with Sir Marlowe last night?" asked Ulla, who walked with a tray filled with food from the kitchen and immediately approached her. The blue-haired shook her head at Emma, looking disappointed. 

"Everyone's talking about you this morning," she quickly added.

"What?" Emma massaged her forehead. She now understood what had happened.

Someone must have caught her being escorted back to the dorm by none other than Marlowe himself, the students' favorite sexy teacher. 

Emma decided to ignore what had happened among those jealous girls. She was actually annoyed because she felt like it was high school all over again, like her school on earth. 

She let out a long sigh. Why couldn't women pick each other up, instead of tearing them down? Was this how immature girls act? Apparently, it was not exclusively done by girls on earth.

Luckily Emma was not affected by this kind of thing because not only she was older than her schoolmates now, Emma was also more psychologically mature. She was a young girl with an old soul.

"Many people gossip about you and talk shit about you," said Ulla with a concerned face. "Is that true? Did you go out with Mr. Marlowe last night? You only went back to the dorm after midnight. Why did you do with him at his place? Did you sleep with a teacher?"

Emma didn't answer. For her, it was none of Ulla's business or anyone else's business. So, even though she felt really annoyed, Emma only focused on the hot tea in her cup. She calmly took a sip of the tea after lowering the temperature slightly, so it was ready to drink.

"Jeez .. Isn't the tea really hot? Why don't you wait until it's drinkable?" Ulla commented in surprise. She had been watching Emma, ​​trying to see her reaction. But this girl was as cold as ice.

Emma didn't care about her surroundings at all.

She just realized that Ulla kept watching her and knew that the tea in her cup should be hot. 

'Uff, I hope Ulla doesn't suspect me of this', Emma thought. Nobody knew that she was a pyromancer and hydromancer. For her, controlling water and heat was a piece of cake.

"It's not hot," Emma said casually. "I mixed it with cold water earlier."

"There's nothing to talk about," said Emma casually. "They will find out I have a boyfriend. He will come here next week."

"Ahh .. it will make the situation worse. They will think you are a slut. You already have a boyfriend, yet you still chased another men," said Ulla.

Emma could only take a deep breath. She looked around them. Sure enough, the faces of the female students stared at her with unfriendly expressions.

'Marlowe you have to take responsibility for this,' thought Emma irritably.

If Marlowe hadn't told her to come to his hut to take Alex Chu and then insisted on walking her back to the dormitory, surely no one would have this misunderstanding and spread gossip about them.

Emma couldn't possibly use telemancy to get the minds of all the girls here to forget the gossip.It would be a waste of energy. 

Finally, she could only massage her forehead.

"Don't worry about it," said Emma nonchalantly. She then finished her food and drink and immediately went out of the dining room toward the hall.

Ulla could only watch Emma leave while massaging her chest. Why waas this schoolmate of hers so indifferent?

This academy was founded by the king of Akkadia and accepts students from all over the country. All the costs are borne by the government. Here, you can get so much knowledge, in addition to free accommodations and meals for the next three years." said Madame Atena opening a new student orientation event. "For the first year, you will be divided into 4 classes, so that you can study more effectively. Each class will consist of 25 students."

Madame Atena then read out the names of the first 25 students who would enter class A. They were told to gather at the front right side of the hall. After that, she called the names of the other 25 students and ordered them to gather at the front of the hall to the left.

The rest, another 25 students were ordered to gather behind the hall to the left and the last 25 to the right. Each group had two senior members of the student council who would guide them around the campus area and explain details about each building, site, and facilities.

Emma was in the same class as Miri, and the two of them happily walked together, following the seniors and their classmates to explore the school area. 

This place is wonderful, she thought while looking around her. After they went to the classrooms, laboratory, and other facilities, they were now brought to walk toward the small forest behind the school.

"First-year students are not allowed to wander around this forest," Akane explained. She was a member of the student council from the third year. "I will only show you around the entrance."

Thank you so so much for your patience. 

The past two weeks were hard for me physically because I am getting used to having a change in my body.. huhuhu. Now, I cannot drink coffee because apparently every time I drink coffee now, I will be in pain.

Glad that I am not a coffee addict, so I am losing much on that. However, it shows that now I need to find out which food to avoid, and what not to do, etc so I don't get pain from a stomach ulcer again. 

If you read my other book "The Prince Who Cannot Fall In Love", I have been writing the ending since early December but somehow the book refuses to end. So, the ending keeps getting postponed. Initially, I thought it would end by Dec 15, but 11 days later, I am still writing the ending.

It's really true, I don't have a say in my stories. The books decided on their own.
