" Done eavesdropping in our conversation?" I heard Alex asking me.

" Oh. Then Miss Evans can you show me what have you done?" he said forwarding his hand for me to give him papers from table. I picked up the paper and gave it to him. He checked the papers smiling.

" See there's page no. 2 then page no. 10 then introduction. Is this how you work Miss Evans?" Alex asked me. I knew that I didn't sort the papers correctly as I was busy in listening to their conversation but I don't wanted to admit it.

" I'm sorry sir. I'll go and work and work hard." I said bowing my head and was about to leave when Alex grabbed me by my hand and pulled me towards him.

" I think my Assistant needs some punishment." Alex said. His and mine faces inches apart. I gulped. He kept nearing me and I closed my eyes. I kept myself in that position waiting for Alex's move but I felt nothing. After a moment I opened my eyes to see Alex was now feet apart from me and I was standing with closed eyes like an idiot.

" What are you waiting for? Let's go to eat lunch outside." he said fixing his coat.

" What about the punishment?" I asked.

" Are you this eager to take punishment from me?" He said smirking and walking towards me.

" N-No. Of course not." I said. He reached where I was standing and scooped me up in his arms.

" Put me down." I shouted. My heart always starts to beat uncontrollably whenever I'm near him.

" Let's go to grab some food." He said and started walking out of the cabin.

He took the private elevator to go down. I continuously asked him to put me down before someone sees us like this. After a lot of nagging, he finally put me down just before the elevator door was going to open. I fixed my dress and quickly got out of the elevator blushing.

" You looks so cute when you're blushing." he said softly near my ear and I blushed even more at his words. We both went towards the car in the parking area and made ourselves sit inside it. Alex started his car and soon we reached a restaurant.

We both got off the car and booked a private place to eat.

" What would you like to eat?" the attendant asked us as we sat on the chair.

" The usual. 2 set." Alex said and the attendant left with a nod.

" You come here frequently?" I asked him. I never saw him going out of the company for lunch since I'm working with him.

" I used to come here a lot. But now I usually order food in my office." he said.

" Oh."

" I want to ask you something." Alex said in a serious tone.

" What?" I asked.

" How about getting marriage certificate today?" he proposed making me shocked.

I don't know how to reply at his proposal. Should I say yes, nah it sounds like I am too desperate. Or no, but it's not true. I'm willing to marry him. " Why you asked this suddenly?" I asked him instead.

" Because I want to marry you as soon as possible. I'm getting impatient day by day now." he said.

Before I could reply, the attendant came in with food. I felt uncomfortable to continue talking in presence of a third person so I stayed silent. The attendant put the food on the table and left with a bow.

" Eat. We will talk after lunch." he said and I nodded my head. I lifted the spoon and started eating, but I wasn't paying much attention to the food. My mind was full of another thoughts. What would we talk after lunch? Should I directly say that I also want to marry him and can't wait? Or should I let him start the conversation first and just go with the flow? I always gets so confused whenever I'm with him. He makes my mind go nuts.

I ate all of my food thinking about what should I reply him on his proposal. When I was finally done eating, I looked up at Alex. He had already finished his meal and was staring at me. I gulped down the last bite of my food that was in my mouth.

" Done?" he asked when I drank my water from the glass. I nodded my head.

" Let's go then." He said and stood up.

" To where?" I asked standing up.

" Civil affairs bureau." he said and started walking. I had to walk a little fast to catch up with his pace. He walked out of the restaurant towards the car and opened the door for me.

" Are you really sure about it?" I asked a last time, sitting on the passenger's seat.

" Yes. Sure as hell!" he said. He also sat on the driver's seat and started to drive.
