Flower on the ash

I sat in front of the window for nearly an hour. Later that I stood , get dressed and tucked breakfast. After eating I came back to my room and opened my mailbox. There were numerous mails in there. Loads of them were of advertisement and some sent by the people. I opened my first mail. It was of my college friend. The batch in which I studied is upholding a party at Kelly's bar. I agreed and sent my reply to her because I knew that Kelly will also go. She can't let the invitation of a party go. Silly she...

The next mail was of Kelly stating the same and a screenshot attached of her agreeing to the party. The next mail was an official mail from Wilson corporation. I opened it and started reading it :

We kindly invite you for the interview of assistant post in Wilson Corporation. The date for the interview is 25th May, 2020 from 10.00 A.M to 12.00 noon. You will have to arrive till 9.45 A. M.

I haven't thought that it will be this fast. Today is 19 of may , so, I have only six days left for the interview. I shut downed my laptop and called Kelly and asked her that I will meet her at bar in an hour. It was going to be noon soon. I put on a pair of plain Blue Jeans and a white crop top and headed to her bar. I entered the bar and saw Kelly serving bottles to one of her customer. She saw me and excused them and took me to an empty dark room.

" You are early. " Kelly said hugging me tightly.

" Yeah. I have loads to tell you. We don't have much time. We also have to go to the party at five. " I said with my voice shaky because of her hugging. She loosened her hold on me .

" Now sit and explain everything to me . " she said . I explained everything to her , from the hotel to the job offer and mail .

" Oh my God. This much happened to you in these days . I'm telling you that I will kill that bastard sister of your's. " she said her nose flaring with anger . We were talking there but the door opened slowly and two drunkards came in swinging there half filled bottles in there hand . They seemed like giants with a big and muscular body.

Kelly spoke , " Sir , You are in the wrong room . "

" Shut up you fffucker. I'm in the right place . Mind your behaviour. We aare here to enjoy ourselves. " said one of those men and started laughing. The second men started moving forwards towards me and the first one grabbed Kelly by her hands . She struggled but nothing happened. The man was way to powerful than her .

The second man was a feet away from me when suddenly I heard the scream of the first man . The gaze of both of us fell in his direction . Kelly was biting his hands hardly with her sharp teeth .

" What are you standing there and enjoying the scene help me . " cried the first man to the second man . The second man was more drunk as compared to the first one . His expression changed to a very dark side and ...

BANG!

He slammed the bottle which was in his hands on Kelly's head . My eyes widened on the scene . Blood started oozing out of her head and she collapsed on the floor .

" Kelly ! Kelly , wake up . Kelly . " I scremed several times but she didn't responded . I started shouting for help so that anyone could hear my voice and come to help . In-between one of them held my mouth to shut it and my voice muffled.

" We are not gonna let you go away without filling our desires you bitch . " He said near my ear and pinched me hard on my waist. A tear fell down from my eyes . I thought that I am over but unexpectedly the door opened with a loud thud and two men appeared on the gate . They were Wilson's. I hesitated for a moment but I gave in . I really wanted help in this situation right now. Alex just stood there and said something in Kelvin's ear that I don't understand . The man left my mouth and I ran towards the body of Kelly and put her head on my lap. The blood was still flowing and her heart was shallow. More tears fell down my cheeks looking down at her .

I looked up away from Kelly's face to see when will the fight will be over. I was surprised. Both the drunken men earlier were lying on the floor and Alex and Kelvin were waiting for me . This was way too fast but I didn't care about that right now. Alex came to me and gave me a hand. I looked down at Kelly but before I can refuse Kelvin came and lifted Kelly in his arms in bridal style .Seeing this I also wiped my face and took hands of Alex hands and we all walked out of the bar.
