" Wedding?" I asked him confused.

" Of course we will have a wedding ceremony." he said smiling. "I want to announce it publically that you are my wedded wife and soon going to be the mother of my child." he said caressing my head.

" Why are you planning so suddenly for a wedding?" I asked him.

" It would be the best time to hold a wedding ceremony. Soon your belly will grow bigger and it would cause you more trouble. Quicker the merrier." he said. He was right. I imagined myself with a big belly and smiled at my thought.

" Sleep now. I'm sure Mom will call you tomorrow morning and say the same things about marriage." he said.

" How do you know?" I probed.

" Because she called me today and I asked her to call you for this. Now no more questions. Sleep." he said, wrapping his arm around my body. I nodded my head and went to sleep, inhaling the scent of body wash from his body that we used while bathing.

We woke up in the morning and Alex went to prepare breakfast, ordering me not to go down. I sighed and agreed to his words. I freshened up and wore a hoodie and pajamas. As Alex had predicted, Mrs.Wilson's call came. I picked it up.

" Hello." I said on the phone.

" Hii Anna. What were you doing? Sorry if I have disturbed your sleep." Mrs.Wilson said.

" No, it's okay. I was up." I said to her.

" Good. I called you to talk to you about your wedding ceremony." she came to the topic. "I called Alex yesterday and he said to talk to you. What do you think about it?" she asked me.

" Yeah. I will be fine I think." I said to her.

" When would you like the ceremony to be held?" she asked me. Well, I didn't give a thought earlier, but hearing what Alex said, it was true. If my belly goes bigger it would be a little more exhausting. I had heard from some of my friends that a wedding is exciting as well as exhausting.

" We can hold a wedding during my early pregnancy." I answered her.

" Ok. What about on the first of August." she asked. Today is fifteenth of July so it will be after sixteen days from today.

" I think it's ok. However, we should ask Alex also." I suggested.

" It's ok. You could ask him about that. If he disagrees then call me." she said.

" Ok." I agreed.

" Bye. I'll start preparing for the wedding then." she said and hung up the call.

I put my phone on the side table when Alex entered the room with a tray in his hands. He put the tray on the table and gestured me to sit on the couch. I took a seat and stared at the food. He had brought two plates of food. Alex had made sandwiches and bacon with a glass of juice.

" Come sit." I patted the area next to me on the couch for him to sit beside me. He sat and we both started to eat.

" Mom called me a few minutes ago." I said to Alex while eating. "We decided to hold the wedding on 1st August." I informed him.

" Your grandmother?" I asked and he nodded his head. Nervousness started to take over me. What if she dislikes me? I grabbed the glass of juice and sipped it slowly to calm myself down.

" What happened? Why aren't you eating?" I heard Alex ask me.

" I'm full. I'll go and get ready." I said to him and stood up. I walked towards Alex's cupboard where he had made some space so that I could keep my clothes. I wore a dress which covered half of my legs and flat sandals which Alex bought for me seeing that I only have heels and sneakers to wear. I braided my hair and sat on the bed with my phone.

" How to present yourself while meeting your grandmother-in-law?" I searched it on the Internet. Many results came up all saying almost the same thing - 'Just smile, be polite...etc.' I cleared my search and started to type again.

" How to impress your grandmother-in-law in the first meet?" I typed and touched the search icon but before the results would come someone snatched the phone from my hand. I looked up to see it was Alex.

" Hey! Why did you snatch my phone?" I asked him and tried to take it back but Alex put it in his pocket.

" We are getting late. Let's go now." he said and took my hand and started walking.

" I was searching something important on my phone. Please return it back." I said to him.

" Excessive  and increased use of mobile phones  in the  long-term can trigger insomnia, which leads to reduced bone density and brain activity as well. This is likely to be detrimental to fetal brain development and may result in behavioral issues like hyperactivity." Alex said to me and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

" Where did you hear that?" I asked him.

" From the book which I was reading. It contains some tips for pregnant women as well." he answered.
