Following a Whisper

Once I walk out of the examination room, the bored guard outside stands up and looks at me suspiciously.

"You done?"With a short nod I answer and I start walking back to the cell with the guard detaining me.Once inside, I sit down and stare at the ceiling.I know what's coming next, so I might as well prepare myself.

After about ten minutes, four guards come rushing in the room with guns and whips.

Isn't that a little too old fashioned?

I also notice that the doctor came rushing in after them with pure hatred and anger written on his face, along with the red marks on his neck.He's here for revenge.

"VIA!"He roars, the yell echoing in the small room.

"WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR GUTS FROM?!"I wonder if that's a rhetorical question.But either way, I understand why the Via before pretended to be mute.It's so tiring wasting my words on these people.

After a long five minutes of continued yelling and screaming, the Doctor finally stops and instead a evil grin spreads across his face.

"Well, regardless of why you did it, you must know that you cannot escape punishment...right?But maybe if you beg and plead, I'll consider letting you off lightly."Right, as if.These guards have been looking for a excuse to hurt me forever.As if they'd let this chance go.And he know this to.But he wants to see the moment when I give up the sliver of dignity I have left.

Fat chance.

When the Doctor was met with silence, his face erupted in rage again."How dare you!You have the audacity to stay silent!Guards!Do what you wish, just...Keep her alive."Obviously he wants to keep me alive, if he didn't he probably wouldn't get paid.

The guards take out their whips and start cracking them on the ground, some of them taking out metal batons.

But I no longer have the energy or motivation to resist, so when the whips and batons hit my back, arms, and legs, I just sit there.

Eventually it stops, and I find myself with tears on my face and curled up in fetal position.

Ugh.This is the second time I've cried today.
