“Man I wonder who is coming today.” Aiyana said out loud.

“Mr. Arizona. Obviously. If you don’t remember he is our teacher…” Emily replied.

“Yes, but Sky decided to go meet his wife.”

“He is married?”

“Since, sometime now. They are even pregnant.”

“Damn. So hot and delicious is off the plate for good.”

“Hot and delicious more like annoying and clingy.”

“You guys must be really close.”

“Sadly.”

“Aiyana…” Scarlett called out in a state of panic as Liam entered the classroom.

“What the fuċk is he doing here? He is not even in this class.”

Liam walked to the girls with a sad smile on his lips. His body language had completely changed from when he was with Scarlett. He looked angry as his long body walked to the girls. His jaw ticked in violent bȧrėly contained anger. His stride short and his body sure as he stood in front of Scarlett. His eyes burned with vehemence as he spoke in a low voice, “We need to talk. I have called you the entire weekend. Why the fuċk did you not pick up?”

“I don’t want to.” Scarlett replied weakly. Her eyes drawn down with unshed tears. Aiyana had been taken aback how distraught she had been about the whole affair, it made Aiyana how much Scarlett had hidden.

“You will come out now!” Liam screamed.

“Well I am not talking to you Aiyana. Please stay out of this!” Liam retorted.

“No shit… I will…” Aiyana started.

“I will come as long as I take Aiyana joins. Scarlett said timidly.

“Fine.”

The three walk out of the class to an empty bench at the far end of the hallway.

“I hear you were at the party this weekend? And don’t lie to me the ŀȧp dance video is all over instagram.”

“Yes.”

“Did you whore out with Jammy?”

“You fuċkɨnġ prick not that it’s any of your business. But, you better mind your language with Scarlett!”

“Is that why you are here?”

“Of course that’s a part of it Scar. You fuċkɨnġ slept with someone in less than two days of our breakup!”

“So, you’re telling us you didn’t dumb her for another fuċkɨnġ girl?” Aiyana interjected.

“That’s different! Scar you are my girl!” Liam said desperately.

“Liam, I have these random thoughts sometimes. It's always about you. Always thinking if you even know I am there. If you even see me at all?

If each time you look at me you feel like talking to me.

Or that you ever really even think of me...

And then I see your pictures with her… smiling and laughing like the last 6 months never happened… like we never happened …and I realize you probably don’t even care...

And that hurts because I am in love with you and you don’t even care if i cry or not… you don’t care that you broke me so much that I went to a fuċkɨnġ party and fuċkėd a guy… that I spent the entire weekend crying and eating ice-cream… you called but we both there is nothing you could have said. And the only reason you did is because you thought I was moving on! You want to see me miserable! You want to watch me cry while I hurt for you!”

“I am okay with me being in love with you. I can live with that. And I know you said you love me too but the problem is I don’t believe that. I am not okay with not trusting you. I am not okay that everything you say sounds like a lie to me. So, I guess what I am saying is that I am leaving you just haven't realized it yet. Please just leave. Be happy with her. I genuinely want that. Just don’t come back to me. I don’t want you back. I deserve better than this…”

A single tear streamed down Scarlett’s cheek as she leaned into Aiyana for strength. Aiyana immediately held Scarlett in her arms turning them away to leave. Scarlett walked a few steps before she stopped for just a second.

Liam watched her stand there with her back facing him. He held his breath, almost hoping she won’t leave that she will come back. That they will come back from this. He knew the moment he heard about Jammy and the roar of anger and despair that gripped his heart that he had made a mistake. He shouldn’t have left Scarlett. SO, he left Frances which was why he was calling her but jealous got the better of him and he said something entirely different. But, listening to her he realized she might not forgive him. There was no use telling her anything.

But then she stood there. He heard her sigh like she was finally letting everything go. Letting him go and walked away. Leaving Liam behind in his shadows.
