Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow
Chapter 241 - Come Back To Me, My Love.
Theo's POV:
Once Lilin got completely consumed by the blood of the unicorn, I locked her up in the dungeon of the Sapphire castle. She is not going to wake up, at least for the next two days. Good for her!
It will take a lot of time for the effects of the divine blood to withdraw from her unholy body. Once she wakes up, then I should find a way to restrain her—so that she doesn't attack anyone.
But she is an Anti-Angel like me; it won't be an easy task to tame her. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that for now. I have time to decide about that until she wakes up.
Now I have to greet my love! She has arrived in this land after an eternity. I went to my room hoping that she would be there—but she wasn't. Where is she? I turned around to see if she was hiding out somewhere.
Sometimes she tends to get nervous around my presence, and she hides out from me—especially when it is time for us to spend the night. Her shyness makes me want her even more!
But I didn't feel the presence of the Angelic entity in my room. She is definitely not here! Probably Cynthia caught her, and she must be drilling her. I need to save her from the clutches of the Siren Queen.
I disintegrated from my room and reappeared in the chamber of Cynthia. Cynthia and Ivory were discussing something seriously when I appeared there. Still, my love was missing.
Ivory shuddered a little when she saw me, and she hid behind Cynthia. "My Queen, please resuce me," she cried out.
Cynthia stepped near me with determination on her face. "Theo, listen to me patiently. Ivory was about to bring Celestia here, but unfortunately, she escaped."
"Impossible," I shouted out. "Celestia is not capable of escaping from Ivory. She is completely powerless now—"
"Yes, she is! But apparently, that Fae warrior Edwin battled with Ivory and rescued the Dawn," Cynthia said and held my left arm. "Just don't take it to your head, Theo! Try to be calm."
Cynthia patted my arm just to make sure that my inner demon didn't get woken by my rage. But this time, I wasn't even angry; I was confused.
Edwin wasn't even there at the stream banks. I didn't feel the presence of any other entity while I was there. And Celestia was so much pleased with me that I saved her. She would not have tried to run away.
And I had instructed Ivory to take Celestia immediately to Selene. It takes only less than a minute for a Siren to teleport someone from one place to another. So she could have taken Celestia in a second to Selene—but she didn't do that.
It means that she procrastinated on purpose. Her true intention was to let Celestia escape. Now she is acting innocent before me, and Cynthia is backing her up.
I glanced at both of the ladies, who were now looking at me anxiously. Then I fixed my gaze at Ivory, who was more anxious.
"Ivory dear," I smiled at her. "Are you saying that Edwin defeated you and rescued Celestia?"
She nodded. "Yes, I tried hard to defeat him, but he was so powerful—"
"Is it so?" I chuckled. "Looks like you both battled knife to knife with each other!"
"Yes," she hesitated. "And I am sorry for failing in my task."
"It is fine, Ivory. I am so glad that nothing happened to you even though you battled knife to knife with a Fae warrior."
Then I moved near her and held her hand. "Just look at your skin, Ivory! You are glowing as if you stood in the moonlight for too long. There are no traces of battle wounds. Isn't this a miracle?"
Ivory gasped and took a step back from me when she realized that I had caught her bluff. "Theo…. I didn't do it on purpose. Please don't be mad at me…."
I kept on smiling at her without showing out my rage. "Ivory darling, how can I be mad at you? Apparently, you tried hard to stop Edwin, didn't you? I have never been so proud of you than I am right now— you are my loyal friend—"
Her eyes got watery after that. While she was brushing away the tears from her eyes, I turned my focus to Cynthia, who was looking at me sternly.
At least Ivory seemed to be guilty of what she did to me, but Cynthia wasn't even guilty of her actions.
"Theo, you need to understand that what Ivory did is for the best," she said.
"So, did you tell her to do this?" I asked her skeptically.
"It doesn't matter," she snapped. "And you should find a way to see the truth. You can't keep on chasing something that is not in your fate—"
So Cynthia has instructed Ivory to betray me! And Ivory obeyed the orders of the Siren Queen. It was never part of my plan to accompany Ivory in my quest. She forced her way by sobbing and pleading with me. Then I realized that it was all part of her plan. She did a pity act just to convince me—and I believed her.
I held her chin and made the crying girl look into my eyes. "So your tears were fake before, weren't they?"
She was just silent and didn't even try to defend herself. I traced my finger over the tears that were dripping down her chin and said, "If those were fake, then even these must be fake too. You are not my real friend—"
"Theo, please…" she sobbed even more. But I am not a fool anymore to trust her.
I moved away from her and glanced at both of the ladies again. "You both know how much I love her. You two know how much I suffered for a thousand years without her. Still, you two stabbed me in the back and plotted against me. I am so happy to know that my two important ladies are against me—"
"Theodore," the Siren Queen yelled. "We both did this for your own, which you are not able to understand."
There is no point in speaking with them anymore. I thought that I could blindly trust the people around me—but I was wrong. From now on, I am going to work alone, just like I did when I was in the abyss of torment.
One of the main reasons why I was able to come out of the abyss alive is that I never allied with other entities. Perhaps the secret of success is to trust no one except himself!

Amelia was still napping when I appeared at her place. I don't need to be greeted by her anyway. Tangerine was asleep in her cage too. But soon, I will have to wake her up.
I opened the closet that was in the corner living room and took out a plain white piece of paper and a quill from the shelf. I made sure to dip the quill with the ink before I began to write on the sheet.
But I wasn't able to make my hand write; it has been an eternity since I wrote something. I went to the desk that was before the window and placed the plain sheet there. Tangerine's cage was just inches away from the sheet.
I took a deep breath and gripped the quill firmly.
________
'Dear Celestia,
I am sad that you decided to leave me. I really hoped that you would acknowledge me after our lovely moment in the woods. But you didn't!
Well, my love! You leave me no choice other than this. Now I am obligated to force you in my way. You belong to me, Celestia! Without me, you can't live in peace. So I would advise you to come back to me immediately.
And I also know that this letter will not reach your hands instantly. The lame King Oberon will definitely read this even before you. After reading this, he is going to lecture you on how evil I am. He will tell you horrible lies about me, and once again, you will believe them blindly and start to hate me.
My love, your innocent nature is the reason why people around you are easily able to manipulate you—and you end up believing in them. So, my love, I am not going to let you live in a lie for one more second.
I am your only truth, and I order you to come to me immediately. If you don't, then you know me! You must be aware by now that I have captured Darius. And I am not planning to free him anytime soon. Maybe I will think about that if you come back to me.
So make a wise decision, my love!

Somehow I managed to write the letter, even though my writing style was not perfect. I folded the letter and tied it to Tangerine's tiny golden yellow legs while she was still asleep inside her cage.
She immediately woke up from her slumber after I tied the letter, and then she disappeared from her cage to deliver the message.
I hope that Celestia comes back to me once she reads my letter!
