Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 269 - I Am In The Land Of Venom.

Aaron's POV:

Being a creature of lust, I have been in a lot of crazy places before. I have partied in the dangerous alleys of the mortal realm, and I have gotten into fights with the dangerous mortal thugs.

But none of them can be compared with the situation that I am in right now. I am in the land of Venom! The creatures around me are poisonous reptiles. And the pretty green-haired girl in front of me was telling me that I should meet the King of Venom!

I turned around to check if there was a way I could escape from this place. There must be some way in which I could escape from this place!

"Don't even think about it, you silly," the green-haired girl mocked me. "You can't get out of here without my consent. Do you understand?"

"Please let me go," I cried and knelt on the floor before her. "I might have been banished from my kingdom now. But I don't want to die—"

She gave me an odd look. "You are so pathetic! It's no wonder why your father banished you."

I was not even offended by her words this time. All that mattered to me now was to stay alive. I started to fake out a sob. I am gifted enough to fake a sob anytime I need it. "I am begging you! Please leave me alone—"

I had my head hung down on the floor, but I am pretty sure that she was giving me a nasty glare.

"If you don't get up from the floor now, then I will make sure that you will never be able to walk with both of your legs again. So think about it—"

I was getting more and more scared of this Serpent girl. Ever since I met her, she has done nothing except torment me. I curse Anakin for this. He is the one who suggested that I meet this poisonous girl.

Then I realized that she was the reason for everything that had happened to me lately. She gave me the idea of assaulting Celestia, which I did and ended up in disaster. She showed my boys the pathway in the underground cavern! She did all of that.

"You wicked snake," I shouted out at her. "You manipulated me into committing those mistakes! You ruined me so badly, and now I have no way out of this—"

A smirk formed on her lips. "It took you a very long time to figure out your thoughts. You are so dumb—"

I started to get mad at her. She dares to smile when I lost my whole life. My brother lost his hand because of her. She is not going to get away with it. I should do something to bring her down. But I know nothing about fighting. And she is a Serpent! If she just bites me with her fangs, then I am dead.

"You are really an idiot," she yelled at me. "I am providing you an opportunity to become the strongest warlock in all three realms. But you are always looking out for an exit route instead of moving forward—"

"But you can't possibly make me a warlock," I chuckled and got up from the floor. "A creature of lust can't become a warlock—"

She grunted. "My father must have made a mistake with the prophecy. There is no way in seven hells that a wimp like you can bring out the era of destruction!"

"The era of what?" I gasped.

"No... It is nothing! And just come and meet up with my father. He will explain everything to you—"

"Wait a minute!" I pointed my finger at her. "If the Serpent King is your father, then you must be the princess. Are you Lianna, the Princess of Venom land—"

"Obviously," she smiled.

"But you are also Lyra, the assassin! How is that possible?!"

"Let us just assume that I have multiple identities. And my father hates to keep on waiting."

"Okay, I am coming," I said and ran beside her.

Now that I got to know that she is also the princess of this realm, I was even more scared of her than before.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Serpent King was nothing like I imagined him to be. I thought that I would be encountering a scary man with scales. But he was just like any other man. He didn't even have any crown on his head, as most of the Kings do. If not for the crimson surcoat that he was wearing, I would have just mistaken him for a normal man.
"Prince Aaron," he hissed my name. I almost shuddered at the intensity of his tone. "The land of Venom welcomes you—"
I just smiled nervously and didn't give him a reply. Then he got up from his throne and moved near me. "Are you aware why you are actually here?"
"I am sorry, but your daughter kidnapped me," I shouted out. "I was fine until I met with her. She gave me wrong ideas, and she is the reason why my father banished me—"
He didn't even react to my words. With a vague expression in his eyes, he said, "Lianna has done a huge favor to you. Why are you too blind to see that?"
I wanted to bang my head on the wall that was behind the Serpent King.
"How can you…?" I chuckled. "How the hell can you justify that me being banished from my land is good for me?"
"Because that Incubus would have never let you become a powerful entity—"
Why do these two keep on saying that I can be a powerful entity? Are they both mocking me?! Is this all a big scam?!
"No, this is not a scam," the Serpent King said and shook me to my bones. It seems like he can read my mind just like his daughter does! "And I will be personally training you to become the master of the Dark Arts."
"Dark arts?!" I chuckled. "The only dark art I know is…." I fell silent as I was too ashamed to admit that I only knew the sex.
"You can be more than what you think you are," he stated. "But you need to have faith in yourself first—"
"That is impossible! I have not touched a weapon ever since I was a kid. And I have no special powers flowing in my body as most of the entities do. My only power is lust, and it is useless—"
The Serpent King frowned at me and said, "Are you out of your mind? Who said that the power of lust is useless?"
I hesitated; I thought that it is common knowledge that the power of lust is of no good. But the Serpent King seemed to have a different opinion on that.
"Lust is the most powerful feeling of all," he went on. "A man loses his mind entirely when the power of lust takes over him. His cognitive ability diminishes, and his heart starts to desire something sinful. That is the power of lust!"
I froze. No one has ever told me that being the creature of lust is a good thing.
"Just now, I told you about the power of lust. Were you listening to me or not?"
"Yes, I was," I said and stiffened. "But with the power of lust, can I fight battles?"
"Not exactly! But a lot of battles are fought due to lust," he said and confused me even more. "You are assuming that the power of lust can't help one in fighting battles. But you fail to understand that most of the wars take place for lust! The Silver Shadow is in a neck-to-neck battle with the Fae King Oberon—and what is the reason for that?"
"Is it because the Silver Shadow is thirsty for power?!" I said warily.
"Not at all! He is lusting over the Fae King's daughter. That is the main reason why a conflict happened between the Fae King and his Silver Shadow," he explained.
I was fascinated by his words. Never did I think of it in this way. This man is intelligent!
"Now, you must have understood what lust is," he said. "Have you seen any man who has succeeded in controlling his lust?"
I immediately shook my head and said, "No! It is impossible to control one's urges. At the end of the day, one should listen to his urges—"
"Exactly," the King retorted. "It is impossible to control the lust. And now tell me, Aaron. If a creature's power is lust, then how can he be weak?"
So I am actually strong?! This is new! I have never considered myself as strong and I still wasn't able to accept the facts that were said by the Serpent King.
"Since you already have the power of lust in you, it won't be a difficult task for you to reap it. And when I train you to acquire the power of Venom, then you will be unstoppable—"
I got confused again. I should acquire the power of Venom?! What is he saying?
