Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow
Chapter 50 - I Am Your Only Reality....
Celestia's POV:
Darius finally regained his consciousness. He opened his eyes and gazed up at me. But still, he was not strong enough to get back to his feet. He dropped his gaze down and saw the weapon I was holding in my hand.
Darius realized what was going on. He smiled weakly and said, "Go ahead and do it, Celestia. If that is what you want, then I respect your decision."
My eyes welled up as he said that. Nothing can be worse than this.
"It can get worse than this, Celestia," Theo said to me. "If you don't kill him now, then the situation gets worse than this for us."
I still didn't understand how Darius could be a threat to us. That is not true! My heart refuses to accept that. I can't do this. I can't kill Darius. I dropped the Saber of Venom to the ground.
Darius's eyes lit up, and he seemed to have gained strength by my gesture. He immediately got up from the ground.
"What have you done, Celestia?" Theo roared at me with an angry tone. I didn't dare to look at him as he yelled at me.
Suddenly, an arrow came out of nowhere and hit my shoulder. "Celestia," Theo screamed and wrapped his hand over my waist. "Stay with me, my love. Just look at my eyes."
I didn't know why Theo was worried. Because the arrow did not affect me at all. I looked down my torso and noticed that I wasn't bleeding at all. What kind of weapon is this? And who is attacking me now?
At that moment, I felt a slight pain in my stomach and my left arm. Then I was hit by two other arrows again. At first, my mind was fuzzy. Soon I felt an excruciating pain in my mind and my heart.
I immediately stepped away from Theo. Everything that happened so far to me flashed in my eyes like a nightmare. I knelt on the ground and began to cry out loud. What have I become? How did I let this all happen?
Theo crouched beside me and placed his hands on my shoulder. He then took out the arrows, which were sticking out of my skin, and dropped them to the ground. The arrows did not hurt me at all. The only place where I felt pain was in my heart.
"Celestia, don't listen to those emotions. It's deceiving you by eliminating your actual feelings from your heart. It is trying to separate you and me."
"No, Celestia," someone shouted and stepped closer to me. It was Edwin! He was carrying a bow in his hand. So he must have hit me with these arrows.
"Don't listen to what that tempter says. All your illusions have vanished from your mind. You are free now," Edwin declared.
"No, Celestia. You are walking right into the trap. Look at me, Celestia. Look at my eyes. You can come back to reality," Theo said.
All those thoughts were making my head swirl. I closed my eyes and let the darkness sweep me in.

When I woke up, I was back in the castle room. Theo was lying beside me on the bed, and he was watching me with a smile on his lips. "My love, are you feeling okay now," he asked me.
I was feeling a lot of things. My head was still hurting so much. I struggled hard to realize what was real and what was an illusion.
"Celestia, you have to give me an answer now. Because I am not able to read your mind like I used to do before," Theo declared.
"What?" I shouted. "How is that possible?"
A sigh escaped from his throat. Theo then patted my hair and said, "Your so-called friends hit you with some charmed arrow and strengthened your mental shield. I don't know when the spell will wear off, and until then, you would have to speak out everything to me."
So Theo can't hear my thoughts anymore! That seemed to be a relief, and at the same time, I felt sad.
"Answer me, Celestia. How are you feeling?"
"I am….. I am fine now," I answered immediately.
Theo smiled at me again. Staring into Theo's eyes always gave me comfort before. But today, I feel nothing. What is happening to me?
All the memories slowly began to sink in my mind. Three arrows hit me! And Theo was furious at me since I refused to kill Darius. Then the reality hit me again.
"You told me to kill my friend," I shouted at him.
Theo clutched my hand. "Listen to me, my love. He is going to be our biggest rival in the future. That's why I told you to kill him. But it's okay! I'll find some other way to stop him."
I thought that he would apologize to me for asking me to do such things. But he was not a bit guilty about it. And he says that he is planning to kill Darius in the future? Perhaps whatever I felt after the arrow hit me is the truth! But my heart was refusing to accept it. It still adored Theo.
"You belong to me, Celestia," Theo whispered while his hand was cupping my face. "You belong only to me, and I am your only reality. Don't believe in anyone or anything else other than me."
I nervously smiled at him. His lips then touched mine, and I kissed him back. "You are only mine, Celestia," he whispered again.
After that, Theo fell asleep, and one of his arms was still wrapped around me. I tossed and turned around, but I wasn't able to sleep. I needed some fresh air. I couldn't stay there anymore.
I slowly freed myself from his arm and walked out of the room. Theo was still asleep, and he didn't notice that I was gone. I left the castle and stood in the gardens.
It was still dark, and the sun was yet to arrive in the sky. I hope that my mind gets clarity soon.
"Celestia," a familiar and soothing voice called me. It is Daviana! How did she get here?
