Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow
Chapter 94 - Traps Of Ivory
Celestia's POV:
Amelia gave me a pleasant smile like she always does whenever she sees me. I, on the other hand, was still reeling off from the shock. These Sirens are very unpredictable!
They can show up anytime and anywhere as they are capable of teleporting from one place to another. I really wish I had this power. Or I might be able to do this with the help of my Angelic powers if I actually try.
"I am sorry for frightening you, Celestia," Amelia said. "And you would have to understand that the whole side of light is with King Oberon. No one acknowledged Theo at first."
"But getting aid from the dark side is never a good idea! Darkness always results in doom," I argued with Amelia.
"Theo isn't relying on the dark side alone. You know he is an Angelic Demon! He treats the side of the light and dark as the same."
"But why would he have to be an Angelic Demon? Why can't he just be an Angel?" I crossed her again.
Amelia shrugged off at my questions. "He thinks that peace can be brought into the realm only if one treats both the light and dark forces as the same!"
I wasn't able to argue with her after that, as her statement made sense to me.
"Celestia, you thought that all the Faes are pure, and all the Shadow creatures are impure. But you got to know yesterday that it is untrue."
"Yes, Faes are capable of evil too," I agreed with her.
"Exactly! And the same way, the Demons are capable of goodness too," she explained to me.
I tried hard to think about a demon that did something good. Amelia raised her arched eyebrows and said, " What about the Green Orcs? They were Demon warriors, and they turned to the side of light. This proves that both the Light and Shadow creatures are capable of good and evil."
What she said is absolutely right! Anyone is capable of doing good and evil.
"So that is why Theo wants to master both the light and dark forces!" Amelia retorted. "You might have noticed that Theo never treats the Demon entities any differently from the Light entities. Because according to him, all are one!"
I was fascinated by her explanation. So far, I have misunderstood Theo so much. But Theo is far more enlightened than the rest of us. I can see why Father Oberon is threatened by him.
Theo's vision is to bring equality and peace, while my father wants only the Highlanders to prosper!
"Celestia, I am glad you finally understood the truth. But it took you so long to realize this," Amelia said.
I smiled at her. "In my defense, no one explained this to me as you did!"
Amelia chuckled at my reply. "Anyway! You have a bigger problem now. I came here to tell you about that."
I was puzzled. Just now, I got clarity in my mind. And she says that I have more problems?
"I can sense that you are still in love with Theo. But why did you give him up to Ivory?"
Her question made no sense to me. Seriously, when did I do that?
"Celestia," she stressed out. "You need to know that Ivory is not like the rest of us Sirens. She is very possessive about Theo, and she will do anything to win him back. Whenever Theo got close to any girl other than her, she went out of her way to break them up."
I am aware that Ivory is evil. But is she this much cunning?
"I can see that she threatened you in the hallway a while ago. She succeeded in guilt-tripping you, and you fell for it."
"That was….. That was her strategy to undermine me?" I asked hastily.
She nodded immediately. "You wasted your tears, Celestia. Theo is in love with you, and if you speak to him, he will forgive you in a heartbeat. And it is not wholly your fault because your friends manipulated you!"
That wicked Ivory pinned all the blame on me! I am not going to let her get away with it.
"You know Celestia, she despises you so much because she was not able to win Theo from you. Now that you fought with him, she used this opportunity to win her way back in."
"But Theo is still in love with me," I claimed.
"Still, she managed to manipulate Theo, and he is going to make her the Queen of the Lowlands tomorrow," she crossed me back.
So it was Ivory who made Theo do this?!! I recalled the way she embraced Theo a while ago. She is trying to win back Theo by being nice to him. I don't know why Theo associates with manipulative people like her.
Amelia was reading my thoughts patiently. After a brief period, she said,'' Theo keeps her around as she is loyal to him. They both share a deeper history. Before you came into his life, Ivory was the only one who was able to tame Theo. And from what I saw today, she has still got it!"
I sighed out in frustration. I am not going to let her get away with this. I have to go and have a word with Theo! I put on my walking shoes that were on the ground, and I paced to the door quickly.
"Celestia," Amelia stopped me. "Theo is going to announce her as the Queen tomorrow in front of his subjects. You have to change his mind tonight."
I looked over my shoulder and stared at her. "Okay," I responded. "Thank you so much for helping me out."
I stepped into the hallway immediately. Some questions were still reeling in my mind. Theo seems to be wise in nature. But how did he fall into the traps of Ivory?
Something doesn't feel right here. Amelia told me that they both share a history. Whatever! I am going to expose her to Theo now and stop her from becoming the Queen.
