Forsaken By Love

Wen Sihan and Lu Nanfeng stayed in the office, discussing various tactics and options they had, but all of them either had flaws or risks. 

In the end, the most likely thing to do was to fight directly against Mo Yunhuang. That was quite risky, and they would end with numerous casualties, no doubt about it, but it was the only solution where they could control what happened.

Although Mo Yunhuang had summoned his stronger experts to the country, he still had far fewer men than Wen Sihan, who had brought more than half of his gang over, and thus they had a good chance of winning.

Just as Wen Sihan was about to leave, after having planned in detail where and how, the door to the lounge room opened, and a rested He Lixue came out. 

She was rubbing her eyes as she looked at the office with a bit of some puzzlement. She had not expected that Lu Nanfeng had guests, and she stopped in her tracks, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Did I interrupt something?" she asked as she looked at the two of them somewhat sheepishly, but her expression just made Lu Nanfeng's heart soften, and even Wen Sihan was amazed by the appearance of the girl who had appeared.

Her skin was white like porcelain, it resembled the purest snow, and her facial features were refined and elegant, without losing their youthful energy. 

With one look, Wen Sihan instantly knew that this woman was He Lixue. He was not attracted to her, but had to admit that most men would be unable to hold themselves back, and would fall for her charm. 

But he had thought that someone who could make Lu Nanfeng succ.u.mb would be m.a.t.u.r.e and elegant, but this was an innocent and sweet looking woman. 

"Hello," Wen Sihan quickly pulled himself together and greeted her. A smile lit up his face, and he went forward and reached out his hand. 

However, before He Lixue had the time to reach out and greet him, Lu Nanfeng blocked them, his eyes glaring at Wen Sihan, who smiled happily. 

Seeing his good friend so jealous was quite fun, so Wen Sihan was amused and looked at He Lixue with a great curiosity. Usually, Lu Nanfeng would not be a petty person, but he was even blocking Wen Sihan from even shaking his hands with He Lixue. 

This was amusing. 

He Lixue looked at the two men, and a chuckle escaped her lips. She knew that Lu Nanfeng cared deeply about her, but she had not expected that he would be such a petty person, and the woman could not help but chuckle. 

Hearing Lu Nanfeng's serious words, He Lixue began laughing happily, even Wen Sihan was smiling at the words. It was clear that the previously cold and callous Lu Nanfeng had been opened up by He Lixue, and that he now had emotions, amongst these also being jealousy.

"Lixue, this is Wen Sihan," Lu Nanfeng unwillingly introduced Wen Sihan to He Lixue, but he did not even release her from his embrace. 

"Hello," she said sweetly while smiling. 

"Let us go and get lunch together," Wen Sihan offered, and He Lixue pondered it. It would not be right to decline his offer since he was Lu Nanfeng's friend, but she was not really in the mood to eat. She had just woken up, and she was not a pig who only ate or slept. 

Lu Nanfeng was not willing to let Wen Sihan and He Lixue get too close to one another. It was not because he was insecure about his and He Lixue's feelings for each other, but because he feared that Wen Sihan was too dangerous for her to get familiar with. It was already enough that he was a friend with Wen Sihan. 

He wanted He Lixue to live a normal, law-abiding life. He did not want her to know or get involved with what happened with the Organization. 

Wen Sihan was aware of it all, and so was Lu Nanfeng. The two of them together wanted to spare He Lixue from the worries. 

"I think we should skip the lunch today," Lu Nanfeng said while looking around the office. "I am still not sure how many are following us, and it will be too risky for all three of us to be at one place together. I do not doubt that a bomb might land on us."

Although Lu Nanfeng did not say anything, everyone could guess that he was hinting at Mo Yunhuang, and He Lixue, who knew him well, was aware that he might actually bomb them. 

Sighing, Wen Sihan nodded his head. What Lu Nanfeng said made sense, and thus he did not push them further. "I am leaving then," he said, "I will be back when it's time for us to begin moving."

Lu Nanfeng nodded his head and led him out before returning to the office and looked at He Lixue, seated in his office chair, relaxing and playing on her phone. 

"I am ordering food, what do you want to eat today?" Lu Nanfeng asked as he looked at He Lixue, who was shrugging her shoulders. "I am not hungry," she answered casually. 

"You need food, though," Lu Nanfeng said with a frown, and He Lixue just shook her head. She was not hungry at all, she had been eating plenty since she met him, and while she was still slim, she had gained quite a bit of weight. 

When she came out of the sanatorium, she had been thin to the point where she could be blown away by the wind, but now, after Lu Nanfeng had fed her up, her body had curves and bumps, she became extremely attractive.
