Forsaken By Love

Everyone present had one thought in their mind, and that was what exactly a young and soft woman like her was doing there when two syndicates were fighting it out? 

Wen Sihan's eyes were glistening with interest, but Lu Nanfeng and Mo Yunhuang's eyes darkened instantly with danger.

How dare she put herself in danger! Lu Nanfeng had intentionally not told her about his destination, but he had forgotten her identity. How was it possible to hide his location from the best hacker in the world? 

Mo Yunhuang was equally unhappy. This woman was supposed to obediently stay by his side, but now she was revolting against him, she was even hinting that she would not mind if Lu Nanfeng killed him!

His anger was flaring up, and he wanted nothing more than to rip Lu Nanfeng to shreds, but he was unable to move fast enough to bypass Wen Sihan.

Although he had been slightly stronger originally, his leg was shot, and while he could still stand up and fight, he was unmistakably impaired. 

Wen Sihan hid a smile at the bottom of his eyes, he gazed at Mo Yunhuang who looked as if he had eaten a fly, his face was scrunched up in anger, and his eyes were ablaze in a fury.

How could He Lixue dare be so brazen and go against him? He had saved her life!

He Lixue looked straight at Mo Yunhuang, her eyes were bright, and stared into his own without dodging. 

"I am grateful to you due to what you did for me in the past," she said. "But I already paid you back everything I owe you. I died for you, and when I got a second chance of life, I decided to live for myself. 

"I am done with you; now I have a great life with Nanfeng, but you have been trying to destroy what I hold dear. 

"Since I already paid you back, you have no right to continue to linger like a ghost in my life!" 

Mo Yunhuang was furious, his eyes were about to pop out of his head, and his hands were clenched tightly.

"I saved you!" he growled, "I am the only one who will ever be allowed to own you; you cannot escape from me in your entire lifetime!" 

He Lixue smiled, but her smile did not reach her eyes, and those two dark orbs were cold. 

She reached out, and wrapped an arm around Lu Nanfeng's waist, before leaning against his body, truly enraging Mo Yunhuang, who was observing their behavior. 

"Lixue, come back to my side this instant!" he growled, his voice so full of malice that his own men trembled in fear. Right now, no one was fighting anymore, and the only sound that could be heard were the voices of Mo Yunhuang and He Lixue could be heard. 

Lu Nanfeng's body tensed slightly when he felt her arm wrapping itself around his waist, but he did not lower the gun in his hands as he looked at Mo Yunhuang, a ridiculing expression on his eyes. 

Mo Yunhuang felt insulted; he could not accept that anyone could look down on him. He was a man who stood above all others; even the law could not control him!

But when he understood that it was impossible to get He Lixue back, his eyes suddenly lit up with madness, and a menacing grin spread on his lips. 

Seeing it made Jiang Wu shiver, since he knew what his boss was about to do, his eyes widened in shock, and he could not help but fear for his own life. 

He was loyal to the original Mo Yunhuang, but he had turned insane after losing He Lixue. His actions were irregular, and his eyes were always fogged over, as if he could not get over his loss. 

This was why Jiang Wu had not hesitated to find a substitute to become He Lixue, but upon knowing that the real woman had come back, and that she had chosen someone else, he was livid and on the brink of insanity.

Now the last drop had fallen into the glass, making the water tip over, and his insanity was released without an attempt at holding it back.

"You want to be with this pretty boy?" Mo Yunhuang's laughter was eerie and scary, it made everyone feel their hairs stand on end, and no one was able to control themselves from feeling fear from the bottom of their hearts. 

"I can make your wish come true, but you will have to accept that you can never separate from him again. I will make this your burial place, and you will spend the rest of your life here.

"Of course, I will accompany you to death," Mo Yunhuang's smile widened, and his eyes were flashing with madness. "You can have Lu Nanfeng accompanying you in death, but at the same time, I will have you!"

He Lixue felt fear from the bottom of her heart, but she did not display it on her face. She narrowed her eyes as she looked around, and she quickly grabbed the gun in Lu Nanfeng's hands. 

The three gunshots rang out in the middle of the empty factory building, everyone was stunned and looked at He Lixue with shock on their faces before they looked towards the direction in which the gun had been pointed.

What they saw made them gulp and swallow hard. Mo Yunhuang was looking at He Lixue with disbelief in his eyes. They were full of incredulity, as he felt how his life slowly ebbed away, the last breath leaving his body.

Her eyes were cold and cruel, her heart shaking, but she could not help but sneer. 

This was a final break from her previous life. She had ended it with her own hands.
