However, no matter where He Huiling looked, there was no trace of Lu Nanfeng, and she slowly calmed down. 

Swaggering to He Lixue's side, she looked superior and arrogant, her demeanor making many in the shop turn their heads curiously to see what exactly was happening. 

He Lixue was calm and casual, continuing to look at the ties, trying to figure out which one she should buy for Lu Nanfeng, and her complete and utter disregard for He Huiling caused the woman to be livid with anger. 

Since He Lixue was ignoring her, she would make her furious and lose her face! Had she not been dropped by Jiang Jinnan before? Now she could flaunt her relationship and use it to cause He Lixue to vomit blood.

Unfortunately, while the previous He Lixue indeed did treat Jiang Jinnan as her fiance and saw him as her future husband, she was not actually in love with him, and after merging with the hacker He Lixue, her personality had changed drastically. 

She was no longer a demure and soft-spoken lady who had gotten a good upbringing. 

He Lixue frowned as she looked at a dark blue tie with a diamond pattern. It looked a bit too flashy, so she put it down again, but after looking at the one-colored ones, they seemed too plain. 

She sighed as she placed the ties in her hands down and squinted her eyes. She turned around and wanted to leave the store, to find another shop, but what greeted her were the two people whom she had intentionally tried to ignore. 

"So, Lixue, are you happy being a mistress?" He Huiling asked loudly, her voice booming through the shop, causing everyone to look at He Lixue with disdain and disgust. 

Unfortunately for her, He Lixue had the gift of a poisonous tongue. "Dearest cousin, I think you need to learn the meaning of the word mistress.

"My boyfriend is not married, and he does not have a partner. He is dedicated to me, and we are together legitimately.

"It is not like you, who was cheating with my ex-fiance behind my back for a full year before I got into a coma, not to mention that you stole my entire wealth along with my fiance.

"So hearing you say that I am a mistress makes me really wonder what is wrong with your mind," He Lixue shook her head with a sigh. "I mean, you cannot be so dumb that you do not know what it means to be a mistress? After all, you have first-hand experience."

Everyone who had gathered around after hearing He Huiling's words was shocked upon hearing He Lixue's reply. So things were like that? Who was speaking the truth? 

Then He Lixue continued, "I know you are jealous of my boyfriend. He is many times better than your fiance, both wealthier, more attractive, and more m.a.t.u.r.e."

The more He Lixue spoke, the darker Jiang Jinnan's face became. He was used to seeing the obedient and soft-spoken He Lixue that always accommodated him, but now she was insulting him. 

This was such a huge difference that he did not understand what could have changed her.

He Lixue was very beautiful, so he never minded his engagement with her. Even so, he was not against cheating on her with He Huiling. He Huiling was able to please him in bed, and He Lixue had been very old fashioned, not willing to let him touch her before they had gotten married. 

When the He family had its wealth reshuffled, he felt that she was useless, so he abandoned her. 

After that, he thought that she would never wake up, but when she did, he felt that he would take her in as his mistress to make it up for her, she was still a beautiful woman after all.

However, before he had the chance to tame her, she somehow managed to end up with Lu Nanfeng. Even if he was unhappy, he had no other option than to accept that she would never become his mistress, unless Lu Nanfeng dumped her.

But looking at the softness of He Lixue, and her radiating beauty, he knew that they were not even close to ending their relationship. 

Recently the Fenghuang Group had managed to swallow countless small businesses overseas. Not just one, but many of them had been swallowed while fighting the Organization. 

It was not only Wen Sihan who had gotten something out of the fight. Even so, Lu Nanfeng refused to help Wen Sihan to whitewash his money, so half of the businesses that had succ.u.mbed had been given to Wen Sihan to manage, instead of being integrated into the Fenghuang Group. 

But He Huiling only wanted to be an actress. She wanted to become the woman that the entire world looked up to, so she had no actual interest in business. 

She had heard a bit about the unrest that had happened in the business world, but she had no real understanding of it, or what was going on in general. 

She did not even know that Lu Nanfeng was now known as the business world's cold emperor.

So while she did not fear him too much, Jiang Jinnan, who knew what had happened, was horrified. He would prefer not to have anything more to do with He Lixue and, in turn, avoid insulting Lu Nanfeng. Who knew if the next business he wanted to forcefully purchase belonged to the Jiang or the He families. 

If he truly wished for this, then they had no chance of revival. He was simply far too overbearing and strong, not to mention that he held an unending fortune behind him. No one was able to stand against such a man. 

He Lixue could see the discomfort in Jiang Jinnan's eyes, and a mocking smile appeared on her lips. He was as cowardly as ever.
