From Hogwarts to Strixhaven

Dumbledore was so out of control.

Although Ivy had known that Dumbledore was obsessed with the Resurrection Stone, he did not expect that he would show such an attitude that was not in line with his usual style.

"This is a Horcrux, Dumbledore." Ivy found that the wrinkles on Dumbledore's face that had been flattened because of the identification of the five Horcruxes reappeared again, and they looked particularly deep.

Before Ivy could figure out how to answer, Dumbledore started telling stories on his own.

"Legend has it that the three Peverell brothers conquered the god of death, so the god of death gave them three treasures respectively. Those three treasures are the Deathly Hallows."

"The eldest brother, Antioch Peverell, got a magic wand made of elder wood, which has invincible magic."

"The second brother, Cadmus Peverell, got a stone with the power to bring the dead back to life."

"The third brother, Ignotus Peverell, got the invisibility cloak of the god of death. From then on, even the god of death could not find him until he took off the cloak himself."

"The stone on the Horcrux is the Resurrection Stone."

Another silence.

Ivy asked, "You only talked about the ending of Ignotus Peverell. I guess the endings of the other two were not good, right?"

"That's right. The inheritance of the Elder Wand is full of conspiracy and assassination. Antioch Peverell died soon after. As for the Resurrection Stone..." Originally, he was going to spend more time training Harry so that he could have more time to grow up, but after being cursed, Dumbledore had to leave Harry to fate and prophecy.

"Come on, Ivy. You come and destroy this Horcrux." Dumbledore stepped back slightly to make room for Ivy to cast a spell.

Ivy was not going to keep Marvolo's gold ring, and he had no desire for the Resurrection Stone itself.

Because in his opinion, the so-called Resurrection Stone was just a stone with a 3-ring necromancy spell of talking to the dead, which was nothing big.

The only useful thing might be that the Resurrection Stone does not need a corpse when calling back souls.

However, considering the scene Harry saw after using the Resurrection Stone in the original book, the magic on this stone may also be of the illusion system.

Because the undead summoned by Harry (including his parents, Sirius and Lupin) said: "We are all part of you."

If you consider that very famous saying: Death is also rebirth.

Maybe the purpose of creating the Resurrection Stone is just to give its holder the courage to face death.

At least Harry, who used the Resurrection Stone, had the same ending as Cadmus Peverell, both voluntarily ran towards death.

Still starting with the 5th-level spell Drain, Ivy greedily grabbed the magic power in the Horcrux. Even though Voldemort had added a powerful curse to the ring, an item without legs could not pass the agility saving throw of Drain, so it could only become a meal on the plate.

Before the one-minute duration of Drain was up, the golden ring burst into a sharp howl and fell from mid-air.

Then a green light flashed in the air, which was Ivy's 6th-level spell Disintegration.

The powerful transformation magic acted on it, and the golden ring and the resurrection stone engraved with the Peverell emblem on it turned into a handful of fine dust.

The cold wind blew gently, and one of the Deathly Hallows merged with the white snow in the woods.

"I must admit that I never thought that dark magic could have such an effect." Dumbledore pursed his lips. In his opinion, the ink-black tentacles extending from Ivy's fingertips were indeed dark magic. "I wanted to try and see if Gryffindor's sword would work."

Ivy felt that he had gained another experience point. Just as he was about to open the Destruction Grimoire to check the character panel and count it, he felt a throbbing sensation.

"We must go back to Hogwarts. The basilisk has woken up."
