The title looks like New Year's greetings, but in fact it's still New Year's greetings. Asking for leave and so on are incidental.

I said New Year's greetings last night on New Year's Eve, and today, the first day of the Lunar New Year, I would like to say another Happy New Year to you all!

Then there are a lot of things to do, such as eating, going out and having fun, so I don’t have time to type, so I can only take a day off. Dear readers, please forgive me!
