Galaxy Technology Empire

Chapter 142 Marching to the Desert

May.

Galaxy Group is working hard and intensively developing superconducting supercomputing chips.

Mars Group, on the other hand, acquires silver at home and abroad in the name of business needs and investment in precious metals.

Fengdu Group's rural cooperative project is in full swing, and it has invested in the construction of greenhouses covering an area of more than 7 million acres.

One-fifth of the greenhouses are already in trial operation.

Of course, other plans of Fengdu Group have not been left behind. Green Earth Supermarkets, Xiandao Logistics Warehouses and Distribution Centers in every city are being rolled out across the country, and now cover 43% of cities across the country.

Obviously, these investments are not small. The cost of one acre of greenhouse land is about 1,800 Chinese yuan, which means that the investment in greenhouses alone costs nearly 13 billion Chinese yuan.

However, this money is nothing to Fengdu Group, because most of the 13 billion yuan is circulated within Galaxy Technology's own enterprises.

That is equivalent to turning the left hand into the right hand. It seems to cost a lot, but in fact the real cost will not be more than half.

After all, steel, cement, glass, agricultural machinery and equipment, wind turbines, and storage batteries are all produced in-house, and even the construction workers are the responsibility of Planet Group.

Obviously, the money is made by its own people. This is why Fengdu Group has the confidence to engage in this kind of project. Others will only die if they do this.

The Raytheon Group is blowing the sea breeze in the Bohai Bay and eating sand in Mongolia. Obviously, the country's 100 billion yuan is not so easy to earn.

The Bohai Sea desalination plant and pipeline system are already under construction. The main force of these two projects is the national team; Raytheon Group is responsible for the wind power station, and Fengdu Group is responsible for the greenhouse.

The entire project is expected to generate 600 billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually, produce 20 billion cubic meters of fresh water, and build 20 million acres of greenhouses.

It is expected to produce about 4 million tons of soybeans (planted on 10 million acres, with a yield of 200 kilograms per mu, and two crops a year); about 8 million tons of corn (planted on 5 million acres, with a yield of 800 kilograms per mu, and two crops a year); and 20 million tons of potatoes. tons (planted on 5 million acres, with a yield of 2,000 kilograms per mu, and two crops per year).

Of course, this is the first phase of the planning blueprint.

Because the greenhouse area of this project is in the Hunshandake sandy land.

That's right, this project of Galaxy Technology and the country is built in the desert.

The Hunshandake Sand Land is one of the top ten desert sand lands in the Eastern Tang Dynasty. It is located at the southern end of the Xilin Gol Grassland in the central Mongolian region. It is 180 kilometers away from the city of Beiping in a straight line and is the closest sand source to Beiping.

Hunshandake Sandy Land is about 450 kilometers long from east to west, covers an area of about 52,000 square kilometers, and has an average altitude of more than 1,100 meters. It is one of the four major sandy lands in the central and eastern Mongolian areas.

Huang Haojie plans to completely transform this sandy land into a greenhouse area.

So how many acres of land is equivalent to 52,000 square kilometers? It is equivalent to 78 million acres of land.

In other words, in the first phase of planning, more than 26% of the Hunshandake Sand Land will become a greenhouse area.

If the Hunshandake Sand Land is transformed, there will still be 1.25 million square kilometers of desert or desert in the country waiting for Galaxy Technology to favor it.

Even if half of it is utilized, it will be as high as 620,000 square kilometers, equivalent to 930 million acres of land, more than half of the total cultivated land area of the Eastern Tang Dynasty.

What's more, greenhouses have high yields, and one acre of land can be used as equivalent to two or three acres of land.

These greenhouses will mainly grow grain, feed, oil crops, and wine crops to make up for the food security problems in the Eastern Tang Dynasty.

Fang Ping and Zhang Haifeng spent the Chinese New Year on the Hunshandake Sands in the Mongolian District.

Looking at the first wind power station group that had just been completed, Fang Ping licked his chapped lips and complained:

"When I go back, I must ask my boss to give me five times my bonus, and by the way, I will also give me a beautiful secretary."

His assistant stood behind and said nothing.

"Mr. Fang, please stop complaining. Be careful if your boss asks you to build a wind power station in the Taklimakan Desert." Zhang Haifeng also looked like dried bacon.

"F*ck! If you don't tell me, I don't think this possibility is really high! Am I destined to spend my whole life building wind power in the northwest because of my handsomeness?" Fang Ping seemed to feel deeply malicious.

"I heard that all the girls in Xinjiang are fair-skinned and beautiful, with curvy fronts and backs!" Zhang Haifeng muttered seriously.

"Haha... I like the Northwest the most!" Fang Ping suddenly revived with full health.

"Haha! You like girls from the northwest, right?" Zhang Haifeng complained.

The two of them were having fun complaining.

Not far away, the vice president of the national team, Ma Tai, had just finished inspecting the wind power station group and came over with satisfaction:

"Mr. Fang! Chief Engineer Zhang!"

"Mr. Ma, what's up! The quality and performance of our Haifeng Wind Power are outstanding." Fang Ping said with a smile.

"Very good!" Mattai nodded.

The first wind power station group has an installed capacity of 10 million kilowatts and can achieve an annual power generation of about 80 billion kilowatt hours.

Because Haifeng Wind Power has improved its wind turbines and generators this year, such as using carbon fiber as the wind wheel material, it has successfully made the wind turbine efficiency reach about 63 to 66%.

In addition, Hunshandake Sandy Land is an area rich in wind energy, which is very conducive to the layout and production of wind power stations.

The power of a single Haifeng Wind Power's ultra-large wind turbine has reached 50,000 kilowatts.

This wind power station group has a total of 200 ultra-large wind turbines installed.

"By the way, Mr. Fang, how is your wind power station in the Bohai Rim area going?" Ma Tai suddenly asked.

"One wind power station with an installed capacity of 1,000 kilowatts has been built, and about 40% of the other project has been completed," Fang Ping explained.

"In this way, at least six 10-million-kilowatt wind power stations can be completed in Mongolia and the Bohai Rim region this year?" Ma Tai asked after thinking about it.

Zhang Haifeng on the side nodded: "It should be seven. Bohai District can complete four!"

"Mr. Ma, how is your water pipeline completed?" Fang Ping was also concerned about this issue.

The length of the water pipeline from the desalination plant in the Bohai Sea District to the Hunshandake Sandy Land is 450 kilometers.

This water pipeline is built to imitate an oil pipeline. Of course, because water has good fluidity and oil is not flammable and explosive, the construction cost is not as expensive as an oil pipeline.

"Let me take a look!" Mattai took out his notebook and flipped through it:

"The laying of 134 kilometers of single-line pipelines has been completed and will be completed around November this year."

The starting point of this water pipeline is at the junction of Liaodong Province and Hebei Province, that is, the junction of Qinhuangdao City and Huludao City; it ends at Sangendalai in Mongolia District.

The annual water transport capacity of a single line is 15 billion cubic meters (tons).

Can 15 billion cubic meters of fresh water satisfy 2 million acres of greenhouse farmland?

In the Great Wall Beach area of Qin Province, one acre of land consumes an average of 140 cubic meters of fresh water per year, while the water consumption of greenhouse drip irrigation is about 40%, which is about 50 to 60 cubic meters per acre of land per year.

Based on this calculation, 20 million acres require at least 1.0 to 1.2 billion cubic meters of fresh water a year.

Apparently the water conveyance capacity of the aqueduct is more than sufficient.

The reason why it is designed to be so huge is that this pipeline actually needs to supply fresh water to the cities along the route.

If Galaxy Technology's seawater desalination plant is successfully put into operation and the cost can be reduced, the higher authorities will consider preparing to build seawater desalination plants along the coasts of the Bohai Sea District and the Yellow Sea District to supply fresh water to the entire North China Plain, Northeast Plains, and even Guanzhong, Mongolia, and Pipelines are laid throughout the territory.

Now various projects are speeding up in an orderly manner, waiting for Galaxy Technology's seawater desalination technology to be launched.
