Chapter 29 Tricking

“Who cares if it’s a mission handed down by the higher-ups? Intruders must die!” The one called Big bro had a maniacal smile on his face while licking his canines as if interested in massacring.

“Wait, wait, wait, wait! I didn’t know this was your territory. I just entered by mistake, there’s no need to kill me, right?” Odin was perplexed. The surrounding places besides here were dark, any sane person would head here first since this place was literally screaming, ‘Hey people! Come here! Come here!’. Then, immediately killed them after they arrived.

If you didn’t wish people to randomly intrude on your territory, then don’t light it like a lighthouse! Odin was speechless by these people’s unreasonable far-fetched logic. Instead, they just wanted to lure people in and murdered them.

“Cut the crap, Watson?” The first male who spoke called the Big bro’s name and it meant ‘Can we kill now?’

“I like hunting game the most.” The one called Watson with a maniacal smile raised his brows, staring at Odin. “I allow you to have a 100m head start.”

“?????” Countless question marks bombarded Odin. Did these crazy people have some weird fetishes? Why bother the need to run? If you want to fight, then let’s just hurry up!

“If you want to fight, then let’s fight. If you want to kill, then let’s kill. Just cut the crap.” Odin dumbstruck looked at the four.

“You’re arrogant, huh?” The smile on Watson’s face vanished and his expression turned ominous. Under the surroundings’ dim lighting, he appeared even more ominous.

With an eagle claw, Watson’s hand struck Odin but Odin slightly leaned right side, dodging the attack. The four of them probably were the Black Death Society’s extraordinary but right now, Odin still didn’t know which profession they chose. However, the current setup to lure and kill people was similar to an act of a Spirit Warlock that needed a spirit being.

Because Odin was still going to question the matter regarding Chris, he initially didn’t wish to fight with them. So, he constantly dodged the attacks but soon he was surrounded by the four.

The odd thing was Wilson and the officers had yet to appear. This was different from the initial plan they had which was to lure out the Black Death Society’s people and if a fight or dangerous situation was to occur, they would use it as an excuse to apprehend the Black death Society’s people.

But presently, they weren’t appearing no matter how long Odin waited and Odin couldn’t help to feel something had gone wrong.

Odin’s action of sizing the surroundings attracted Watson’s attention and the maniacal smile returned to his face.

“Are you waiting for reinforcement? Those officers?” Watson’s voice was cold to the point of being able to freeze someone up. “Didn’t you have the guts to face us just now, is it because you have them to protect so you dare to act haughty? Hahahaha!” Watson madly cackled.

“What have you done?” Odin remained calm and no traces of panic emerged from his expression.

“Nothing, we just let Nancy trick them a bit. Who would’ve expected they were that easy to fool? A bunch of muscle-brained people.” Watson laughed with disdain as if mocking Wilson.

“Teehee! I also never thought I would succeed that easily.” The sweet-voiced female called Nancy stepped forward, staring at Odin with her shining huge eyes.

Odin had to admit, if she wasn’t part of the Black Death Society, her cute and sweet appearance was Odin’s cup of tea.

“You thought our territory is only this lighted place? This is the heart of our territory. You can enter here because of our interest in you or else, you would be a piece of dead meat the moment you stepped into our territory. We already noticed the moment you entered our territory and those officers thought they hid well. However, we aren’t interested in them, except for you only. So, I pretended to be an ordinary student assaulted by the Black Death Society to look for them. And as expected they fell for it and they rushed towards the direction I randomly pointed, leaving you all alone here. They probably guessed the Black Death Society’s people aren’t here and believed you won’t be in any danger.” Nancy calmly explained the ins and outs to Odin.

“Why did you talk so much to a prey?” Watson frowned while looking at Nancy.

“Teeheehee, he’s such a cutie. We must treat cute things with care, Watson.” Straightening her back, Nancy smiled harmlessly but it was uncertain how her heart thought.

“We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.” Nancy continued, “Even if you don’t admit it, we know you’re the kid who killed Annie, who was sent by the higher-ups, right? What was your name again? Oh right, is it Odin? Teehee!”

“Such a chance finally arrives, I won’t let you get away!” Nancy’s tone suddenly turned stern and her sweet face became fierce.

Listening to Nancy’s explanation, Odin also agreed with Watson’s ‘muscle-brained’ comment. Odin overestimated Wilson. Besides the small scheme Watson pulled, he was basically useless.

In anyways, today Odin wasn’t going to fall into the Black Death Society’s grasp. Although the four of them were extraordinary, Odin himself was too. So, the conclusion was indecisive.

“Alright, the talks end here. I’ll give you one second to bid your farewell to this world.” Licking his canine, Watson’s hand almost reached Odin’s neck.

Odin had no intention to dodge at all. Just as Watson exerted force, Odin’s right hand tightly clenched Watson’s arm and abruptly pulled back, landing his right leg on Watson’s crotch and instantly sending Walson flying.

“Military Combat Technique?” Nancy was surprised, “Who could’ve imagined the prey this time has some power to resist?”

“What’s the use of it? It lacks Agility, this kid won’t win against us.” The other female said in disdain.

Remaining on the spot, the female used Astral Projection and circled behind Odin in her spirit form. With Watson in front and her behind Odin, they were going to have a pincer attack on Odin to cage him.

Sensing a spirit being in the air, Odin knew there was abnormal energy fluctuating behind him. If he was captured by the female’s spirit form, then he would be pushed into a passive state.

Pretending not to realize the abnormality behind him, Odin faked to dodge Watson’s attack. Abruptly ducked down, Odin also dodged the female’s spirit form’s attack.

The female wasn’t in a hurry and kicked right at Odin’s crotch. Odin rolled to his right side and with some mental strength, his punch aimed at the female’s spirit form.
