Game Of Thrones - Gacha Version
Chapter 9 - 9 - The boredom of the short lived, immortal.
Boredom, the worst curse to any long lived life form. After some time, the wine is not sweet anymore, the food doesn't taste the same, and even the s.e.x becomes just a daily activity. The worst part is that he didn't even have 100 years or more in fact now he has just 19 years.
Looking to the city below through his window, Brennan released a deep sigh and rubbed his forehead, he was officially completely tired of this world, years ago when he reborn is this world was like a dream becoming reality.
Now he knew why not all dreams were what you really d.e.s.i.r.ed.
Right now he was probably the strongest being in the planet, he had thousands of subjects and soldiers to command, he lived in the strongest castle in most rich city of the seven Kingdoms, he had some of the most beautiful women by his side, and a large loving family with 38 beautiful and strong sons and daughters.
And despite all this he was not happy anymore, before he felt excited with a new world, being a lord, seeing dragons, knowing the characters he liked, having adventures and all, but… now…now everything was just boring, and every day was just more of the same, boring bullshit.
Waking up, breakfast, giving orders, signing papers, watch his kids playing, signing more papers, giving more orders, s.e.x, occasionally a party and repeating all again.
This world, was nothing but boring, and the more powerful he became more boring it was, with his powers he could do basically anything so no there was basically no challenge, in some point of the last year he was so bored that he decided to make a clone of himself and go to trip around the world two years.
Unfortunately with a magic ship and a crew composed of sons and daughter of sea gods, he had not real time to enjoy the travel before seeing everything that this world has to offer in less than a year, from Westeros to Essos, Sothoryos and the unknown continent hidden in the west.
He saw everything this world had to offer and to be fair it was not what he expected at all, despite a few surprises here and there, there was really nothing that great in this planet, dragons, sea dragons, wyrvens and Firewyrms were the peak of the mythical and magical creatures, everything else was basically an animal of the earth with a bigger size or different features, like the leviathan being slight oversized gray cachalot and griffins being bigger lions with a mouth that resembled a beak, skinny hairless front legs and a mane could resemble feathers from afar.
The only other mythic species that did existed were the Tiger-men and the harpies, but the first was just human with a skin variation that made their skins orange with stripes and the later a group of people that by some reason grow feathers in the arms and legs instead hair.
The only other creatures he didn't saw yet were the others with their giant spiders and the children of the forest, and that's only because he refrained himself to go where they were.
One year ago he was so bored that he decided to speed up things and went to Yi Ti to meet the silver prince and make him move faster than in the remake series, at first everything looked like it was going as he wanted before everything blew on his face, and the silver prince and the fortune teller who would guide him here killed be an unknown prince, and without the silver prince there would be no restoring war, no silver empire and no silver army going to Westeros, in the future.
After this little tantrum of his, he went around the entire golden empire after the gold that you supposedly could find there, unfortunately eighty percent of the supposed gold was a variation of iron Pyrite also known as fool's gold.
So after all the work of robbing every single prince, merchant and even the emperor himself he barely found more than a few millions gold coins, unfortunately gems, silver and others valuables were useless to him since the gacha didn't accept them.
The good part however was that he had more than enough gems and silver to make a silver statue of him riding a giant gem dragon, it was a completely stupid and frivolous thing but he kind liked it, so he kept it inside his spatial farm.
In some point his action also changed the timeline in westeros much more than he expected, for example Jon Arryn should have died two years ago, but because of the constant raid of pirates of stepstones, his investigation of the Lannister kids was delayed and only a week ago he was poisoned.
According with Brennan's calculation it would take 2 – 5 days to Jon kick the bucket and around 35 to 43 days to the king do the funeral, morn the dead and come to the north officially starting the "canon" if you can still call it that.
He could try to convince his father to not go but, the man was so obstinate that unless that a war started in the north or something at this level, he would go anyway, and even if Brennan told exactly why, his honor would make his go to protect his friend and reveal the truth, or any other honored bullshit.
Releasing another sigh he sat down in his favorite couch and closed his eyes. "God's, how I miss my tv and computer." Brennan complained to himself missing all the good entertainment he lost when he came to this world.
"I ask what the people would think if they saw their lord complain not having enough entertainment after having so many kids." An almost n.a.k.e.d Jadis said while she sat on couch in front of Brennan giving the man a full view of her legs and b.r.e.a.s.ts.
"For all that I care they all can go to hell." Brennan sneered. "Why did you wanted to become a queen anyway, everything is just politics and problem solving all the time."
"If you don't remember my beloved, being a queen and rule was a right that was taken from me, and besides unlike you no one ever dared to come to me with frugal matters or the heads would be on spears in the next moment." Jadis pouring a yellow drink from a table near her couch into crystal glass and took a sip.
"It stills surprises me the delights that humans can do." She said with a satisfied smile.
The drink was strawberry honey whisky, made of strawberry honey from Toriko's world, it had a high alcoholic level but at same time as very soft and sweet, which made it a very popular drink among nobles despite the price of 200 gold dragons the bottle.
The two of them just remained in silence enjoying the presence of each other, the years they spent together was enough to make them both confortable with this silence, unlike his deceased wife who most of times tried to initiate all kinds of talk just to fill the silence.
His former wife was still a complicated subject, he didn't really loved her, neither he disliked her it was just that she had nothing that attracted his attention to her, she had above average looking, with normal North features, she had no great politics, martial or economics skills, and neither her personality was charismatic or unique.
In a way she was just a regular lady of the north, if it wasn't for his mother stupidity Brennan would likely never gave her second look, much less marry her, their marriage was quite short, she got pregnant right after their marriage and died in the delivery when they were visiting Winterfell, giving birth to six of his kids, 2 males and 4 females.
The stress and exhaustion took her right after the youngest was born, with all his skills it would be easy heal her and preserver her life or even resurrect her, but in the end he decided to not interfere, it was not a unwanted end.
He paid his respects to her, buried her body in the stark crypts, gave one of their daughters her name and "grieved" for three months as the proper protocol. In the first month of the next year he married Jadis, Reyna and Cyanna moondancer a half-Elf half-Dryad Spore Druid he summoned a year ago.
The ceremony was small for only family and a few close friends, but still raised some and discontent, Lord Karstark who though that his grandkids would be pushed aside and inherit nothing, and some because how polygamy was viewed even in the north.
These three with some p.r.o.s.t.i.t.u.t.es, female demigods or legacies and some other females gave him all his kids, the funny thing was that all his kids besides the kids he had with Jadis, developed the characteristic cat-like eyes of an witcher, and gained all the powers and magic of one.
Fortunately the long lifespan and decelerated aging didn't affect negatively their growth and they were growing even faster than other kids of their ages, Reyna believed that it was because of the demigods he absorbed turning them into legacies.
At first he thought about giving them more powers but gave up, after reaching a.d.u.l.thood and eating the heart-shaped herb combined with their witcher-demigod heritage, there would be almost no danger for them in this world.
Well almost no danger, besides white walkers, dragons, and undead dragons.
