Chapter 21 - Red Belt (1)

What was going on? According to what Granny Cat said before, I need to carry the bride into living room before I can pay my respects. But there's nothing in the bridal sedan, why are you telling me to carry it?

Just as I was feeling bewildered, the old rooster "Oh …" came from living room. The second ring. According to the Granny Cat, I should be going to the hall to pay my respects now, but I can't even carry the bride on my back.

I was in a hurry to walk around, when a shy and sweet voice came from the bridal sedan. "It's time. Why aren't you carrying me in?"

I was startled at first, but then I realized that it wasn't because there were no brides, but because I couldn't see them at all. He quickly bent down and squatted in front of the bridal sedan.

A gust of cold wind blew out from the bridal sedan, causing my neck to turn cold. Immediately, I felt something heavy on my back, which was quite heavy. It seemed that the bride had already gotten on.

Strangely speaking, the moment I entered the living room, the weight on my back disappeared.

It had been a while since the second bird cry, so I didn't dare to waste any more time. I quickly knelt beside the paper man and started to worship.

During the whole ceremony, I couldn't help but glance curiously at the paper man, expecting her to do something I didn't expect. But no, I was the only one on my knees throughout the entire process, looking like a retard.

Before he could stand up in a hurry, the old rooster in the cage let out an "oh …" A loud sound was heard again.

It's time to enter the bridal room, I remembered Granny Cat's words. I quickly got up, opened the red paint cage, picked up the rooster and headed for the new room.

The new house was really my own room.

In my room, I put the old rooster on the bed, locked the door, and went under the bed. I knew that locking the door wouldn't necessarily be useful, but I was a lot more confident.

Following Granny Cat's instructions, she took out the black symbol parchment, and measured three inches above the head of the bed before pasting the parchment onto the bed.

After completing this step and walking through all the steps together, I couldn't help but feel relieved. At least until now, nothing unexpected had happened. What came next was to patiently wait for daybreak.

The room was exceptionally quiet. Even the old rooster didn't make the slightest sound. The atmosphere was extremely depressing. I lay under the bed, not daring to move.

Time passed slowly. The space under the bed was very small and very cold. I had originally planned to stay awake until daybreak, but after a while, I couldn't hold on any longer. There was nothing abnormal, so I simply lied down to sleep.

I don't know how long I slept, but I felt as if someone was knocking on my door. At that time, I completely forgot about Granny Cat's warning and hurriedly climbed out to open the door.

The moment I opened the door, I was stunned. The one standing in the doorway was the woman in red who had saved me that day.

She was wearing a red ceremonial dress, not a wedding dress. Her long black hair draped over her shoulders, and her eyes shone with a pitiful light. Underneath the exquisite ceremonial dress, it was faintly discernible. It was extremely provocative.

"The muscles of ice hide the bones of jade, and the neck of the shirt is creamy." It was exactly this general appearance that was described.

I had never seen such a beautiful girl in my life. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous as I asked tentatively, "Hello, may I ask who you are looking for?"

She didn't say anything. Her pair of watery eyes stared at me, making me feel very uncomfortable. Suddenly, she lowered her head and kissed my lips, making my mind go blank.

I could feel her warmth, the softness of her lips, and the faint fragrance of her body. It was as if my soul was swimming in the sky, like a dream or illusion.

When I came back to my senses, I felt uncomfortable all over. I rolled my body and was about to get up when I realised that I was completely naked. I suddenly felt a little embarrassed. How could I have such a dream? I was really shy.

However, after thinking about it for awhile, I felt quite refreshed. Especially that lady in red, she is really the best in the world. As I thought back to it, I stood up and realized that there was a dark red color on the bed.

I couldn't help but be stunned. When I thought back to the feeling just now, I felt that it was real. After carefully checking my body, I realised that there weren't any wounds. Then, that bloodstain … Could it be that what just happened was true?

I couldn't help but be shocked when I saw that the room was a mess, the cabinets and everything else had been knocked over. The door that I locked from the inside had been opened and what was even more eye-catching was the old rooster who had blood dripping from his neck as he collapsed to the ground.
