My dad got a new job down here in New York. I was happy for him but I didn't want to move. When we packed up our stuff and left I cried so much in the car. When we arrived at our new house in N.Y. I was excited about the big city. Yay! Every girl dream right. Well, not mine. I was happy back at Lakewood high school. I lived in Iowa and was happy living a simple life. I never got brand new clothes or fancy shoes but I was still happy.

Well, it's too late to think about that now. I wake up in a giant pool off sweat. I roll over and look at the time. 6:45!! Omg, I'm gonna be late for my first day! I jump out of the bead and rush down the stairs. I grab some cereal and eat so fast that I forget about the milk. I rush back up the stairs and throw on my new dress. I rush out of the door and check my phone. 7:15 right on time. I hop in my car and drive to school. I don't really know where to park so I pick a spot towards the back. I jump out of the car already self-conscious and rush to the door. I feel a lot of eyes staring at me. Oh yeah, I forgot! My mom took me to get a hair cut. I have dirty blonde hair and long,long,long hair. People start whispering. Oh god, the rumors are about to start. "Okay, you got this!", I think to myself. I stroll down the hall half confident.
