Chapter 20 Professor Snape

“Ahhhhh, what is this? Mr. Cliff, you ran to the sewer during class and brought a pot of waste water back, didn’t you?”

Sure enough, Snape’s unique sarcasm floated out. He stood in front of Keo Cliff, a Gryffindor boy, and pointed to the foul-smelling black liquid in his cauldron, ruthlessly.

Keo Cliff’s face was tense, for fear that he would blurt out swear words in the next second.

“Gryffindor deducts 5 points.”

Professor Snape sneered towards the next victim.

“This is the scabies treatment potion? I’m sure you have to go to Madam Pomfrey to lie down for two days after drinking it.”

The Gryffindor student next to him curled his lips and said nothing, because Professor Snape didn’t mention his deductions.

“Herbicide… Pomona may not welcome you to her greenhouse.”

When facing the Slytherin students, Professor Snape still kept a little face and didn’t make the words too bad.

“Mr. McLagen… Are you going to the sewer with Mr. Cliff? Or, your college has a famous “Boy Who Lives”, that great savior, can be in my class Have you been perfunctory?”

Professor Snape walked past the cauldrons, and all the people he satirized were glaring at him. They had endured this kind of scene for two years.

Cormac McLagen’s face was blue and red. His relationship with Harry Potter was not good. After hearing Professor Snape’s words, he felt like he had received a double crit.

Professor Snape’s robe hummed, he stopped in front of another Gryffindor cauldron, raised his brows, and said:

“Mr. Herbert, answer me, if I put the wormwood, the blood of the salamander, the lavender, the Flobber caterpillar, and the McLaren paw in the same cauldron, what will I get?”

Herbert hesitated, speechless.

“Does anyone know?”

Professor Snape looked around the classroom, his eyes sharp as a knife.

“I think… is the antidote?”

A Slytherin student said uncertainly.

“Stupid. Is there anyone else?”

Professor Snape’s face sank, and after scolding the Slytherin student flushed, he continued to look for people.

He looked around in the classroom, and almost everyone did not dare to look at him. The corners of his mouth curled up, but his face became more gloomy, and he said slowly:

“Mr. Lestrange, maybe you have any ideas?”

Ulysses stood up to meet his gaze and said softly:

“Nothing, Professor.”

Professor Snape was silent for a second, nodded insignificantly, smiled coldly at Herbert, and said harshly:

“Yes, you will only get a pot of waste worth a few hundred gallons like that in your cauldron, Mr. Herbert.”

Poisonous tongue.

Ulysses couldn’t bear it, and Herbert’s face was full of shame and anger, and he couldn’t wait to fight Snape on the spot.

“The potion is a precise art, not a simple superposition of medicinal properties. Put away your reckless and naive cleverness.”

Professor Snape took the opportunity to give another wave of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.

It’s not that everyone’s potions are as unbearable as he said, but the words of praise are like treasures, and he is stingy to say them. Some of the successful junior potions were only evaluated in his place. Even Gryffindor’s Katie Bell refined a decent enhancer, but he couldn’t get it from him. Fraction.

Professor Snape was only a few steps away from Ulysses at this time. Professor Snape quickened his pace a few minutes, walked to Ulysses’ crucible, and peeked inside:

“Next, Mr. Lestrange, let me see what you can do…huh?”

The crystal-clear potion clearly reflected Professor Snape’s surprised face. His eyes gradually became serious, and his brows frowned slightly. After watching for a long time, he sniffed them with his nose.

“Colorless and tasteless… If you are not stupid enough to fool me with a pot of boiling water, then this is… poison?”

Professor Snape turned to stare at Ulysses’ eyes and asked.

“Professor has good eyesight.”

Ulysses spoke with his scrutiny gaze, neither humble nor arrogant.

Professor Snape waved his magic wand, and test tubes floated out of thin air. The poison in the cauldron was poured into the test tubes. He watched Ulysses for two seconds, then said dryly:

“Very good. Slytherin plus very much.”

The potions in the classroom can’t be taken out, and Professor Snape should have installed them. It’s just that this poison can be said to be Ulysses’ original creation, and being taken away made him feel a little uncomfortable.

The Slytherin students looked at Ulysses with more complicated gazes, some of them were amazed, and some were jealous. Professor Snape’s usual style is obvious to all, and they can’t wait to pick out the stone and the egg. This is the first time that he has been speechless.

The bell rang suddenly after class.

Professor Snape’s expression had returned to normal, and he said loudly:

“If you are still in this state in the next class, you’d better be prepared to bear the consequences.”

The other students left quickly as if escaping from a fire pit, and Ulysses was stopped by Professor Snape.

“Wait a minute, Mr. Lestrange”

Professor Snape walked back to the podium as he said, opened the cabinet below, rummaged through it, took out a crumpled book, and threw it to Ulysses who was a little confused.

“I don’t take your things for nothing. This book contains some of my experience on the art of potions, which should help you a little bit.”

Professor Snape looked a little arrogant, as if he didn’t want to take advantage of Ulysses.

In fact, Ulysses should have taken the advantage. As a professor of potions at Hogwarts, Snape has a place in potions throughout Europe and the world. He is recognized by the International Federation of Magicians, and the British Ministry of Magic also awarded him the title of “Master of Potions”, which is enough to see his authority in potions.

In the book “Advanced Potions Making”, there are many potions configuration methods improved by him, although few people currently know about this.

Therefore, his experience is obviously not comparable to the potions books on the market.

Ulysses did not expect to have such an unexpected joy. He smiled and bowed slightly and said to him:

“Thank you for your gift, Professor Snape.”

Professor Snape brushed past him after packing up his things, and the cold words flowed down:

“It’s best if you can understand it. If you don’t understand, you can find a way to understand it. I don’t like people coming to me for questions.”

Ulysses looked at Professor Snape’s back, his black robe splayed into the wind as he walked, like a walking black bat.

“It seems that it is not as difficult to communicate as expected.”

Ulysses thought to himself that he would shut him out when he didn’t believe that there was a real problem with Professor Snape.
