They went up the stairs to the second floor, where at the end of the hallways lay the private room of Pearl.

Rang the intercom. 

But despite how long they waited, there seems to be no reply whatsoever.

Is she even here? or perhaps already…

“Hey Fei, the door seems to be unlocked.”

“Eh, the door is not key-locked?”

Reche proceeds to push the door open (with her hand). 

The door, making a crackling sound, begins to open up slightly and slowly.

It was not locked at all.

What passed through the mind of Fei were the previous words speaking of retirement from the very mouth of Pearl.

“You don’t mean that you (went to give your retirement letter) after cleaning up the room!?  Hey, Pearl!”

It might also be very likely that she got out of the Mystic Court (dormitories) by yesterday itself.

“Pearl, it’s me, are you still here?” 

[TL: the last words spoke as: are you not here? ; I apologize for changing it a bit accordingly, well I did change many previously too. ugh.]

We infiltrated into her room. 

We proceeded through the narrow doorway and started our way into its hall.

We kicked open the door which connected to the living room. 

And what we found was…

A girl who just coincidentally looked back as the door opened.

Well, Pearl was there.

It seems she was in the middle of changing her clothes.
