Then after spending some more time with his eyes still closed, he casually picked up a rock from the bottom of the pond surface and held it in his right hand and then lifted it in the air, and after a moment of silence three whispers escaped his mouth.

"I can 'touch' this 'rock' because it is weighing down on me, I can 'touch' this 'water' because it is flowing down on me, I can 'touch' this air because it is pressing down on me, and now I am pushing them all back because below my feet the earth is 'touching' me back"

"From earth comes the mass, from the mass comes the weight, from the weight comes the force and from the force comes the touch"

"Earth is the touch"

Then at that exact same moment, when his focus was completely on feeling the rock present in his right hand with his amplified sense of "TOUCH", suddenly a number in blue color popped up in front of his closed eye vision.

Although this time June knew what this blue number shown in his vision of the "TOUCH" sense meant, but he still performed a little experiment out of curiosity in order to confirm the speculations in his mind.

This time, he dipped his right hand, which was holding the rock, right into the water and then he noticed that the number had changed.

Then he dropped the stone back into the water and focused on the bottom most part of his bare feet, which was in direct contact with the ground surface under the pond water, and then the number changed again.

Then he stepped out of the water and while standing on the shore, he once again focused on the bottom most layer of his feet and this time the exact number that he had expected showed up.

"As I had expected, the basic setting of my 'TOUCH INDICATOR' is my own weight, or should I rather say the percentage of my weight"

The 'TOUCH INDICATOR', just like the 'TASTE INDICATOR' was a little unique because its unit of measurement was the June's own weight which was the exact amount of force that his body was applying on the earth surface, just like when a normal person checks his weight by standing right on the top of the weighing machine.

In the first case when he held the rock in the air, the 'TOUCH INDICATOR' displayed the number '2' that means that the downward force applied on his right hand by the rock was '2 percent' of June's own body 'weight'. In simpler words, if the weight of June was one hundred kilograms then the weight of the stone will be two kilograms.

In the third case, since June's body was half immersed under water, so his body weight was decreased from 100 percent to '66' percent of his original body weight.

And finally, when he stepped out of the water onto the shore, the 'TOUCH INDICATOR' showed the number 'one hundred'. It means that one hundred percent of his body weight was present, and that was selected as the 'standard measurement unit' for the force or weight, by the 'Quantum Dot'.

It actually made sense because, how in the world would the 'Quantum Dot' have any idea about how much weight is the real one kilogram or rather one 'Newton', which was the standard unit for measuring the 'force' on the earth. So, the Quantum Dot picked June's own weight as the basic standard for the measurement of the force.

After getting back on the shore from the pond, June decided to take some break and picked up two poisonous red fruits from his leaf pouch and started to eat them after sitting at a corner.

Although there were other edible things that June could find to eat, but these red fruits had some special effect on increasing his sense of 'taste' and June had noticed this earlier when he first drank the bowl of that vegetable soup, which was given to him by the soma villagers last night before he went to sleep.
