God of Science

8 Pla-Tinum

"The feeling was right; my hunger is actually affecting the headache."

The taste of fruit was both sweet and sour mixed in fine proportions. The fruit was very refreshing and juicy as well.

One by one he ate all the three red fruits, which was surprisingly enough to fill his stomach.

As his hunger was gone, headache once again spread from in between his eyes back to his forehead and then slowly all around to the back of his head. The difference was that this time the pain was eighty five percent reduced, but it still felt a bit ticklish on his forehead.

While he finished eating those red fruits, the silver eyed green snakes that were staring at June slowly started moving towards the tree. They climbed back to their branches and once again got back to what they were doing before the arrival of June.

The presence of June did not bother those silver eyed snakes at all. It was like June was not even there.

June felt very relieved when he saw that those green snakes have stopped noticing him and were minding their own business.

It was a very strange feeling for him being constantly stared at by a few dozen green snakes with such a unique eye color.

Unluckily, this was not the case for the little platinum eyed green snakelet. While June was finished with those three red fruits, he noticed the green little snakelet that was lying quietly on the ground just by his side, still looking towards him with his tiny sparkling platinum eyes.

Looking at the curious little snake, June couldn't help but once again put his open palm on the ground in front of the platinum eyed snakelet.

As he expected, the curious little snake crawled into his palm, where it coiled its tiny body and laid comfortably exactly like before.

June did not have the heart to disturb the comfort of this cute little snakelet so June stopped bothering with it and let it do as it pleased.

While June was sitting with his back against the tree, the day was already over, and the night had finally come. With his headache almost gone, he could peacefully take some time to look at the situation he was currently in.

He started to recall the incidents, that had taken place since he woke up in this jungle, one by one. No matter how much he tried, he just could not make any sense out of it.

"There is no use stressing about it. With all that had happened since I woke up in this jungle, I am feeling a bit tired now."

June was right, there was too much that had happened for his simple brain to comprehend in a short period of time since he woke up.

He took a look at the little platinum eyed green snakelet with a little envy, who was comfortably lying in his open palm, and weariness washed over June's brain.

June slowly closed his eyes and went into a deep state of sleep without any care of his surroundings.

When he woke up it was already dawn.

"That was some well required sleep considering the nature friendly environment that I am in." June said to himself while looking up at the big tree that looked so silent, almost forgetting for a second about the dozens of silver eyed predators that were quietly hidden behind the fresh green leaves of this tree.

When he was looking up towards the tree, June felt something on his palm and suddenly he remembered about that tiny snakelet with those sparkling platinum eyes.

The little snake was still lying in it's comfortably coiled posture on June's palm.

At the same time when June looked at the little snakelet, it also sensed his eyes and turned its tiny green head towards June, staring at him with those small sparkling platinum eyes.

"Looks like you have grown attached to me. Well I don't mind some little company in this big jungle."

"So, what should I call you then, let's see ... you are tiny and have platinum eyes."

"Then I will call you 'Tinum'"

"Just don't bite me and we can be good friends"
