Gourmet master of the Pokemon world

#367 - Meeting on the cliff

This Pokémon resembled a giant praying mantis made of yellow rock, with two huge axes for arms, a hunched back, and sharp claws on its lower limbs.

This was Kleavor, the Axe Pokémon, a Bug/Rock type. It evolves from Scyther in the Hisui region using the special mineral Black Augurite.

Like Lady Lilligant, it is one of the Ten Lords of this region.

Cynthia recognized Kleavor at a glance. As a history enthusiast with extensive knowledge, she had some understanding of ancient Sinnoh.

Although most Hisuian forms of Pokémon have disappeared, a few still exist in the outside world, and Cynthia had been fortunate enough to see some.

As soon as Kleavor appeared, it immediately raised its axes and attacked Cynthia.

The move it used was Stone Axe, a signature move of Kleavor.

Garchomp reacted extremely quickly, rushing forward without hesitation. Its Dragon Claw collided with Stone Axe, generating a powerful shockwave.

Failing in its first attack, Kleavor continued to swing its Stone Axe, while Garchomp continued to meet it with Dragon Claw.

The two Pokémon fought fiercely, with sparks seeming to fly in the middle.

After another intense collision, the two Pokémon quickly separated.

However, the distance they each retreated showed that Kleavor was at a disadvantage.

And the previous confrontation had been too intense, so Kleavor was now breathing slightly heavily.

Realizing Garchomp's difficulty, it now looked at Garchomp with a very serious gaze.

"Garchomp, Dragon Rush!"

Seeing Kleavor observing her and Garchomp, Cynthia decided not to give it a chance to breathe.

"Garchomp!" Hearing Cynthia's command, Garchomp's aura exploded, and it shot into the air, then swooped down, enveloped in powerful Dragon-type energy.

Seeming to realize the power of this attack, Kleavor's expression changed drastically, and it quickly used Stone Edge to meet the attack.

Sharp rocks appeared around it, controlled to shoot towards Garchomp.

When the dust cleared, Kleavor was unconscious in a large pit, while Garchomp stood beside it, majestic and awe-inspiring.

After defeating Kleavor, Cynthia gave it some simple treatment, then carried it to the abandoned village to settle down, and finally left with Garchomp.

As for Diantha, when she came back to her senses, she found herself in a place full of frozen soil, all pure white, with large stretches of snow-capped mountains faintly visible around her.

Realizing that she had become separated from Braviary, she immediately released Gardevoir out of caution.

"Gardevoir, the situation here is unknown, let's be careful." Diantha tightened her coat, breathed a sigh of hot air, and said.

"Gardevoir!" Gardevoir quickly nodded in agreement.

And so, one person and one Pokémon began to carefully explore this pure white frozen soil, searching for Braviary and Ange.

As they advanced, Diantha suddenly noticed that on a cliff not far away, a cat-like Pokémon was watching them furtively.

This Pokémon was light purple all over, with dark purple face, front paws, and one ear.

Noticing that Diantha had noticed it, it quickly climbed the cliff with agility, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Diantha was stunned, turning her head to look at Gardevoir and saying, "What was that Pokémon just now? I've never seen it before?"

"Gardevoir?" Gardevoir shook its head in confusion, it didn't know either.

Diantha lowered her head and pondered, "It looks a bit like Sneasel! Could it be some kind of regional form of Sneasel?"

"Gardevoir!" Gardevoir nodded in agreement with a face full of approval.

"Let's continue to look for Ange and the others." Putting the strange Pokémon just now aside, Diantha planned to continue forward with Gardevoir.

However, at this moment, a gust of bitter cold wind swept over them, causing Diantha and Gardevoir to shiver.

Diantha's heart tightened, and she frowned, "Something's coming."

As soon as she finished speaking, she heard a roar from not far away, and then an iceberg exploded, and a giant turtle-like Pokémon stepped out of the shattered ice.

Diantha frowned, "What is this Pokémon again? Avalugg?"

The Pokémon that appeared in front of them looked extremely similar to Avalugg.

However, compared to the Avalugg that Diantha knew, this Avalugg was more slender, its limbs had changed from ice to rock, and it had a terrifyingly exaggerated jaw.

In fact, both of Diantha's guesses were correct.

What she saw at the beginning was indeed the Hisuian form of Sneasel. Unlike ordinary Dark/Ice-type Sneasel, Hisuian Sneasel is Fighting/Poison type.

And what she is seeing now is the Hisuian form of Avalugg. Unlike ordinary single Ice-type Avalugg, Hisuian Avalugg is Ice/Rock type.

And the Avalugg in front of her is also one of the Ten Lords of this region.

Avalugg roared, and the Ice Beam move was activated. Countless ice pillars appeared out of thin air, shooting towards Gardevoir and Diantha.

Gardevoir flashed in front of Diantha, and a transparent罩罩was propped open, blocking Avalugg's attack.

But Avalugg's attack power was too strong, and Gardevoir, supporting the 罩罩, was beaten back continuously.

So strong! Diantha couldn't help but exclaim when she saw this.

As soon as Avalugg's first wave of attacks ended, the second wave of attacks followed. It raised its foot and stomped on the ground, and the ice surface spread, and then its body began to rotate at high speed, and its angular body turned into an ice blade and hit Gardevoir.

Because of the ice surface acceleration, Avalugg's speed was terrifyingly fast.

Gardevoir knew that it couldn't face the opponent head-on, and immediately used Teleport to dodge.

With a loud noise, an iceberg was smashed to pieces by Avalugg.

At this time, Gardevoir also began to fight back. A new moon appeared behind it, and the moonlight scattered on it, and it condensed it into a beam of light and shot it out.

Moonblast directly hit Avalugg's head, causing Avalugg's head to tilt, and it let out an angry roar, and then launched Avalanche, and huge ice rocks fell from the sky, smashing directly at Gardevoir.

Gardevoir's figure flickered in place, disappearing in the blink of an eye, and when it reappeared, it was already behind Avalugg.

Another Moonblast, Avalugg was staggered for a while, and then fell to the ground with a bang.

Avalugg's physical defense is very high, but its special defense is very average, and it can't withstand Gardevoir's repeated attacks.

Seeing Avalugg fall, Diantha breathed a sigh of relief, and couldn't help but wonder in her heart, what is this place? How can you encounter such powerful Pokémon so easily?

Filled with doubt, she walked to the Ice Rock Pokémon, hesitated for a moment, and finally chose to help it with its injuries.

After treating the injuries, she continued her journey with Gardevoir.

On Ange's side, after defeating Lilligant, he continued his journey with the two Basculin.

Along the way, the two Basculin frequently looked at him with strange eyes.

Ange said helplessly, "Are you going to keep peeking like that? If you want to look, just look openly."

"Cough cough ~ Cough cough ~" You can defeat the King, amazing! I've never seen it before.

The female Basculin stammered.

Ange laughed and said, "There are many things you haven't seen before. I'm not the only one who can defeat your King."

The two Basculin shook their heads vigorously. They didn't believe it. Their King was so strong, how could many people defeat him?

Seeing that they didn't believe him, Ange didn't say much, but took out the pictures of the materials the system asked him to find and showed them.

"Do you know where these things are?"

The two Basculin carefully looked at the pictures, and finally pointed to the picture of the healing herb and said:

"This! This! I know it."

Ange looked happy and hurriedly said, "Then take me there quickly."

"Cough cough ~ Cough cough ~" The Basculin nodded in agreement.

Just like that, Ange, led by the two Basculin, headed towards the location of the healing herb. Along the way, he would occasionally play the Infinite Flute, waiting for Latios to come and find him.

Sure enough, just halfway there, Ange suddenly heard a dragon's roar, followed by a blue figure and a white figure appearing in the sky.

The blue figure was naturally Latios, and the white figure was Cynthia's Togekiss.

Ange happily waved at them.

"Latios, Togekiss! Here! I'm here!"

In the blink of an eye, the two Pokémon arrived next to Ange. Ange warmly gave Latios a hug, and Latias happily moved closer to her brother.

After letting go of Latios, Ange asked in confusion, "How did you two meet?"

"Woo ~ Woo ~" After Latios explained, Ange realized that when Latios was following the sound of the flute to find Ange, he happened to see Togekiss being besieged by a group of Voltorb, so he stepped in and saved it.

"I see." Ange suddenly understood, turned his head and said to Togekiss, "Then let's go together, let's go find Cynthia together."

"Kiss ~ Kiss ~" Togekiss nodded happily.

When it first separated from Cynthia, it was very flustered, but now that it met Ange, its emotions finally stabilized a bit.

Just like that, Ange, with Latias, Latios, Togekiss, and the two Basculin, continued on their way.

About half an hour later, Ange and the others arrived at the edge of a forest, with a steep cliff at the edge.

The Basculin told Ange that the healing herb grew on the cliff's face, but they didn't remember where it grew.

"In that case, let's split up and search, and meet here in a while," Ange suggested.

"Woo ~"

"Cough cough ~"

"Kiss ~"

The Pokémon nodded in agreement.

Just like that, everyone separated, and Ange released Diancie to stay by his side.

About 10 minutes later, Ange indeed saw a healing herb in a crevice in a cliff.

"Found it!" Ange said happily.

Diancie said upon seeing this, "That's not a good place to pick it, and Latios and Latias aren't here."

Ange pondered for a moment, and suddenly had an idea, "Let's do this…"

After Ange's explanation, Diancie understood. She put her hand on the edge of the cliff, and then launched a Stone Edge attack. In the next second, rock pillars rose from the cliff, forming a staircase.

Ange laughed and said, "Wouldn't that work?"

Saying that, he nimbly jumped onto the rock pillars and quickly picked the healing herb.

"Success!" Ange smiled and waved at Diancie.

Just as he was about to take the healing herb back, a sob suddenly sounded in his ear.

He looked in the direction of the sound and saw a small fox-like Pokémon stuck in another rock crevice above the rock crevice where the healing herb grew.

"Zorua?" Ange looked surprised.

It was a Hisuian Zorua.

Ordinary Zorua is the Evil Fox Pokémon, with a single Dark type, with a jet-black coat, only the toes, a tuft of hair on the top of the head, and the eyelids are red.

Hisuian Zorua, on the other hand, is the Spiteful Fox Pokémon, with Normal and Ghost types. Its body is gray-white, and the tuft of hair on its tail, neck, and head is red and white.

Seeing Ange, Zorua was very scared and tried desperately to hide in the crevice, but its body was stuck and it couldn't hide at all.

Seeing this, Ange hurriedly said, "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. Is it okay if I help you out?"

Zorua did not relax its vigilance because of this, but kept baring its teeth at Ange.

"Don't be afraid!" Ange softly comforted Zorua, while reaching out his hand, and after breaking a rock into pieces with force, he successfully brought Zorua out.

As soon as it regained its freedom, Zorua began to struggle hard, but how could its little strength break free from Ange's hands?

It even tried to open its mouth to bite Ange, but Ange reached out and grabbed the back of its neck, and it immediately had no way to resist.

Ange threatened it, "Be honest, or I'll throw you down."

Looking at the bottomless cliff, Zorua immediately shuddered and dared not speak again with its neck shrunk.

Just like that, Ange successfully returned to the top of the cliff with Zorua.

As soon as it landed, Ange said to it, "Okay, you can go now, be careful in the future!"

Seeming not to have expected Ange to really let it go, Zorua was slightly stunned, but it did not leave immediately, but looked eagerly at the healing herb in Ange's hand.

Ange looked at it in confusion: "Why don't you leave? Could it be that you've fallen in love with me."

Diancie slapped Ange unhappily, "It's looking at the healing herb in your hand."

Ange was stunned when he heard this, and asked Zorua while holding up the healing herb: "Do you want this?"

After hesitating for a moment, Zorua nodded slightly.

Ange said: "If you want it, go find it again!"

Zorua looked dejected when it heard this. The healing herb grows on the cliff, even if it finds it, it can't pick it!

Ange's eyes rolled and said, "It's not impossible for me to give you the healing herb if you want it."

Zorua immediately looked at Ange with a hopeful face.

Seeing this, Ange continued, "Tell me, what do you want the healing herb for?"

Zorua looked alert when it heard this, and immediately took two steps back. What are you asking this for? Could it be that you have ulterior motives?
