Chapter 88: How Can Xu Luosang know Someone Like Nian Junting?

Most of the security guards didn’t dare to make any move, as they saw that their leader seem to flinch instead of stepping forward. A daring one who was eager to fawn on Mr. Lin rushed forward, but before he could approach Nian Junting, Xiaosi sprung up and threw him to the ground, showing a fierce look that made the rest of the security team draw back.

“Get off me! Do you know who I am? I have friends in the police department…” Mr. Lin shouted out loud.

Right before that, a large group of policemen walked in from the outside. “Police! This is a casual inspection, move away!”

“Captain He! Save me!” Mr. Lin’s eyes glowed when he recognized Captain He who was leading the group, as if the latter was his life-savior. Captain He was responsible for this area, and he had met Mr. Lin from a dinner party.

Captain He uneasily shook his legs, then hurriedly asked Lu Kang who was behind Nian Junting, “Did I say something wrong?”

Lu Kang frowned and responded with, “I can’t tell for sure. But don’t worry, Mr. Nian has always been respecting policemen.”

“I think you shouldn’t say the words ‘when he was young’,” Luosang said with a low voice after hesitation.

However, Nian Junting heard her clearly. He paused slightly, then continued walking, looking steadily forward.

Under the hopeless situation, Mr. Lin still wasn’t willing to give up. He attempted to follow up and to beg Nian Junting, but Xiaosi stopped him from doing that and barked fiercely at him. Seeing that Mr. Lin was frightened, Xiaosi then proudly wagged his tail and hurriedly caught up with his owner.

Luosang coldly glared at the pale-faced Mr. Lin. Somehow, she felt good.

She couldn’t imagine how badly she would have suffered if she didn’t luckily run into Nian Junting tonight.

She walked out of the club to find that the rain had stopped. When she arrived earlier, the raindrops were falling on her skin, cold as ice; but when she left, she was wearing a man’s jacket which was warm and soft.
