Hakai no Miko
Lesson 8: Relief
Solon, who gave his condolences, began to move vigorously around in the Wang capital the following day.
He went around the houses of friends, acquaintances and other interlocutors when he was Aurelius, and talked to eminent apostles from countries and regions who had been visiting the Romanian country to deepen their social ties.
Naturally, the generals, known as militants, were outraged by this.
Because Solon's actions were intelligence efforts to explore the internal context of the current Romanian state, as well as diplomacy to make the presence of the emerging state of Eldor a firm within the countries of the West.
But even knowing that was the case, there was no way for the militant generals to stop it.
Already, Partiz's story of the outbreak of youth officers plotting the assassination of Solon was well known, albeit not publicly. And it was also known that Partis had concealed Solon during the incident and affirmed that he would keep him.
If Gordia, the first prince, were to be followed by Partis, the second prince, to guarantee his safety, how could he not have made a detour to Solon with the bloody generals known as militants?
In front of the militant generals whose teeth could only be seen that way, Solon was still asking around again today about the houses of his old friends.
But not all the old friends I asked welcomed Solon like Lauzen did. Rather, the vast majority of those who cursed and tried to drive Solon back as a traitor.
The friend Solon asked that day is also one of them.
"What are you doing here, you traitor?"
It is a sudden rumbling, when you see the face of Solon who has asked, and without words of greeting.
But that's not impossible either. Of course, I am familiar with how Solon had to abandon his name and country. It is also inevitable to serve in other countries in living. Let's understand and sympathize on those points.
But as for those who dare turn to the enemies of their homeland and trap their former best friend, King Dordea, and create a factor to die, it was unforgivable for them to eat Loch (Roku) in the Romanian country. It is also not a good idea to be close to Solon in front of the militant generals, as his own house.
If I don't talk to you or if I don't, Solon looks sorry and bows his head to a friend who tries to push himself back.
"No, no, it's nothing. I'm not here to warm up an old relationship, I'm not here to try to get inside the Romanian state. Just until I came to pay back my old debts."
Besides, my friend snapped his neck.
Solon told me to borrow it, but I didn't know that.
Solon offered his hand to such a friend.
Then on its palm were several pieces of silver coins.
When asked with his eyes what the hell this was, Solon laughed and said.
"I would have borrowed alcohol before"
If you ask me that, I remember being drunk a few times.
"Each other, we're good old. This is the last time we can face each other like this. I don't have a chance to see you again. If you think so, this is the opportunity. I thought I'd give you back what I borrowed."
To Solon's special words, his friends grumbled.
It is just a few pieces of silver coin. For the aristocrats, it's nothing but gold. But he came with the knowledge that he would be cursed to pay back what he owed.
That particular attitude and a host of memories with Solon that surfaced in a potato ceremony when he dug up memories of loaning alcohol cost him a homesick blow to the chest of a friend.
To his friend, who bent his mouth to the letter to and pushed him silently, Solon presses the silver coin and then lowers his head with a pepper.
"Well, now I have no heart left to die of when wild drowning. - I know it's annoying for you, but I hope you catch your breath. Now, if you'll excuse me."
A friend unwittingly speaks to Solon's back as he tries to walk away from the mansion saying so.
"Wait, Aurelius"
Stopping and looking back over his shoulder, his friend says to Solon, coughing one up to fix it, then making all the more sinister faces.
"How about an endless traitor of resentment, if you chased your former friend back as he had asked from afar, it would also involve our tickets. I'll give you a final drink, so just drop by."
But Solon resigns from it.
"No, no, no. Invite me and others, and I'll be watched by those who quarrel fast. Insulated or not, you are an irreplaceable friend to me. I can't let that friend bother me."
My friend mumbles at Solon's mouth.
"It is heartfelt that I supposedly cowered away my friends and so on by the people I call militants and so forth. Let's get you invited, even if it's not."
That's how I grabbed Solon's arm and forced him into the mansion. Solon smiles with a full face as his friend draws his arm.
"Well, thank you for the treat."

He then completed without delay the main funeral ritual of transferring King Dordea's body to the King's tomb.
If there had been the only confusion, there would have been a figure of Solon among the royals in charge of the coffin where King Dordea's body was delivered.
Many Romanian ministers were surprised not to find themselves among the militant generals.
What the hell is this?!
Many Romanian generals crammed into the clergy who partitioned the funeral. But when they heard that Solon joined the coffin bearer along with the royal family was due to Prince Partiz's strong demands, they all said it was time to hold their heads.
Moreover, Partis held a grand feast for Solon, who returned to Eldor early the day after the funeral.
As long as tonight my love for Aurelius is equal to my father's. Beyond tomorrow, we will be enemies. I want to have a big drink tonight to cut my own untrained to Aurelius.
This is what Partis says.
The feast was also attended by many militant generals. That doesn't celebrate Solon's return home. On his last night in this Romanian country, he managed to find Solon's falling or faulty and was soul-bold to use it as an excuse to take the blame.
But Solon slackened at the words and provocations that prompted those generals to fail. On the contrary, it was the end of a scratch of red shame in front of Prince Partis when the generals were more intercepted by Solon.
Moreover, he was made to see the drunken Partis begin to call Solon "the Sub-Father (the one who respects the Father after him)" and even take a thank-you to the Father, to which the generals stomped a community.
That's how the morning after finishing the banquet of frenzy and chaos.
Having drunk so much, Solon was in the streets outside Romarnia, the king's capital, with his bare face without leaving any dust.
A farewell feast was held late in the evening, and Partis, whose deep liquor has passed, is hungover this morning and is still pooping on his sleeping table. It was Gordia who came to see Solon off instead of that Partis.
"It was a short time, thank you for your help"
Solon bowed his head deeply to Gordia, who came to drop him off following only a few guardian knights and squires.
To the solon. Gordia makes a worried face and asks.
"To Eldor, how are you going to go home?
I was wary of a group of Eldor countries when I came, but I missed Solon, who was instead single. But it is already known that Solon visited alone. If anyone tried to harm Solon, they wouldn't have attacked him for his return.
"If I may, I will escort a few of my guard knights to the border?
To Gordia, who is so worried, Solon says with a smile, "Don't worry."
"Actually, I've brought more condolences than Master Soma, and I'm thinking of going back to Eldor with the merchant of Jebor."
Gordia is surprised when a name pops up that I never thought of.
"He said he was a Jebor merchant...?
"My pleasure."
Solon explains that he is prodigal.
How can I say that I carry an object of condolence, if soldiers from a hostile Erdoğa country enter the country, the people of the Romanian country will not be able to remain calm either. It's important if you wake up with something useless. So he asked the merchant of Jeboa, who had carried the pearls and the goods of the Central Transit of the Continent, which he had picked up as one of his condolences, to deliver them as they were to the Romanian country, along with the goods of condolence prepared in the Eldor country.
If Solon looked ahead as he pointed out, he did see a caravan flying the flag of Jeboa's Merchant Guild. Probably waiting for Solon. He stays on the spot dressed for immediate exit.
"Oh well. - Surely it would be better to rely on the merchant guild's caravan in Jebor than to be single"
Gordia, with a slight stare, said so.
Jebor's Merchant Guild is an organization that has substantial control over the Jebor nation. Its influence extends not only to Taruya Jeboa, but to the entire western region. If it's financial, it goes without saying.
Nor will they ever allow anyone to do harm to the merchants belonging to the Alliance, just an organization that defends freedom of commerce. It was also known that if some bandits and others raided the Alliance's caravans, they would necessarily use their influence and financial power to retaliate.
With the merchant guild caravan of Jebor like that, you will never be able to reach anyone who thinks of you in a disgraceful way.
"So long, Your Highness. I beg your pardon."
Solon said goodbye, saying he had to go because he was still waiting for Jeboa's caravan, which is still unfortunate.
"Ugh, um. - Aurelius, you're breathing. Come visit me once in a while. You're welcome."
When Solon, who received Gordia's parting words, rode on Roba's back, he took each of the dwarves to the merchant guild's caravan in Jeboa.
Soon after Solon's appearance became invisible all over the caravan, the caravan slowly began to move. A guard knight, who had refrained a short distance away, speaks to Gordia as he watched the caravan heading west.
"Your Highness, how about the mercenaries you've collected?
Gordia leaks one big sigh.
"You can't set things up with Jebor's Merchant Alliance. - Give him a proper job, pay him, and then go home."
When told that, Gordia boards the carriage that had kept her waiting.
Looking out through the small window of the moving carriage with a slight vibration, the figure of Jebor's caravan, joined by Solon, looked much like a gathering of sesame grains.
Gordia stares at it and spills.
"... that's far away"
And I bit my back teeth tight.
"Neither my readiness nor my master's measures, nor my blade, nor my master's clothes, can touch me..."
◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆
When Gordia returned to the mansion, there was a woman waiting for her, both as a squire and as a servant.
Welcome home, Your Highness.
That is Adelia, Gordia's wife. To his wife, who has accompanied him for more than thirty years, Gordia cares with a gentle face.
"Are you okay with me being awake already? Don't push it."
Adelia was ill from the heartache in which her real father, Darius, was killed by despicable means, and fell asleep shortly after the incident. Even after I was finally able to wake up, the cloudiness on my face was not clear, but it was only recently that she finally smiled at me.
"It's all right now. If you grieve forever, my father will scold you. - Let me take care of your meal, Your Highness."
To his smiling wife, Gordia gave him a jacket for going out. Then when I head to the living room, I sit down trying to fall back on the chair there. Then, the fatigue that had been so tempting overflowed all at once, and fatigue hit my body.
Adelia began to prepare herbal tea when she deposited her coat with the maid in order to twist such a tired good man (oops).
Adelia speaks with a soft smile to Gordia, who was at all costs watching the sight of his wife preparing a tea bowl on the small table in front of her.
Thank you, Your Highness.
To the words of his sudden wife, Gordia frowned. Explore the memory to see if anything good would have happened, but I can't think of anything like that.
"What?
To Gordia, who asks surprisingly, Adelia answers.
"Since His Majesty was overwhelmed, His Highness has always come with a harsh look on his face. Especially these days, so much so that I fear I will be harmed after Your Majesty"
To Adelia's words, Gordia touches her face with her hands, wondering if she looked that bad. To such a Gordia, Adelia laughs small with a loving eye.
"But you look tired now, but you have a soft face. Aurelius was so relieved that he returned home safely."
Gordia was surprised when she blinked her eyes. Adelia laughs again at Couscous for that look, then pounds her hands together.
"That's right. Dear Aurelius, we have a treat for Eldore. Because of this, let's have it together."
With that said, Adelia walked out of the living room to fetch sweets.
I wish I could leave as much to the servant as I go to pick up the confectionery, but the temperament of being called the mother-in-law daughter at Daraios still seems to be there.
It was Gordia who was dropping off her beloved wife with that in mind, but when she was alone, the words of her earlier wife came to mind.
"Right. Was I relieved..."
Gordia laughed at herself all the time.
"I can't say I like Aurelius either."
