Being on a carriage for many hours, just taking breaks when passing through small towns or villages, eating sweets as they go along the road,and camping, doing that for so long can make anyone feel motion sickness. But that was not the case for Denear. In his past world, him and his sister would always be on the run from his psycho father. They would always go in and out of countries, towns, cites, on a road trip for more than a week. So this was nothing to him.

The guards with him was a different story.

Being on their horses the whole day under the burning sun, envying their young master enjoying himself in the carriage. 'Dang it! Why couldn't I be like that' was what they thought.

Denear noticing their tired expressions on the corner of his eye, said," Alright! Let's find a place to stop and rest for now and continue later." The guards couldn't hide their thankful expressions. "Okay let's find a spot to rest for a while." said the head guard on his horse. They stopped by some grass plains next to a river with some trees. Themoment the guards reached the shade, they immediately collapsed and fell into a deep sleep.

Denear looking at how tired they are was kinda disappointed. I mean, he can't blame them for being tired but seriously. How are you elite guards of the Cornelius family if you can't even survive this. Across the plains was the Forest of Jara. It is where most adventurers find monsters and complete quest from the guild. It mostly has monsters in the low-level. In this world they group monsters into different categories based on how strong they are.

You will mostly find Low-level monsters in the Forest of Jara but there are rare occurrences when a Threat level monster appears. However, that hasn't happened in nearly 50 years. People become adventurer either for money, fame, or due to their circumstances. If you're lucky enough, you might even be promoted to a small-time noble or soldier if you do something great for the country. Even some nobles (only a few) become adventurers simply for the sake of increasing their reputation and influence over the people. Well, enough of that.

'Maybe I should go for a stroll. I could even test my powers.' Walking towards the entrance of the forest which was a little bit far away, he carefully observed his surroundings. Seeing that the guards were fast asleep, smiled a little and decided not to worry about them. 'I'm pretty sure they'll be alright.....right?' He looked at them again. '*sigh* Let me just make sure that they will be alright without me here.' He then thought in his head, 'Luck of the universe..Activate!' While holding both his hands pressed together in the direction the guards.

An invisible gold light surrounded the group of guards and covered each and every inch of their bodies.
